My boyfriend and I stopped in there last Sunday to grab a snack and have a couple beers at the bar. There were 2 other people at the bar when we sat down. The bartender, Keri A. , was so rude and treated us as though we were a nuisance to her. We had to flag her down to get anything. She would not make eye contact or check to see how we were doing. She set our food down and walked away. The appetizers we ordered came out cold and tasteless. The manager was good about removing it from our bill but I haven't experienced such awful service like we had in quite some time.

Kale salad was surprisingly yummy. This is especially a compliment considering what I really wanted was the pot pie but decided to go the healthy route. Worth a try. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We've been here twice and both times have had a good experience. It' kind of similar to a Denny's but better. Both times I have had the BLT. This is always my go to sandwich just about everywhere and this is hands down the best one I have ever! It's PACKED with Bacon and served on 3 pieces of the best wild rice bread. I can't tell you enough how delicious this sandwich was. The hubby had the hungry man's bfast (chicken fried steak, creamy country gravy, with two eggs, hash browns, and toast.) which was huge! We will try and stop at this place when we can on our way to/from Duluth more often!

For where it is, The Winds in the casino in Hinckley deserves 4 stars. When we don't want to go to MSP, we go to The Winds.. So much better than the Grand Grill. Spend a little more for a much better dining experience. White table cloth ambience, but casual attire is fine.

My sister and I ate at the Grand Grill for the first time Saturday night. The place was crowded and the wait time for a table was short at only 15 minutes. But once we were seated the wait for the food was excessive with diners that came in and were seated after us being served before we were. We ordered the Fisherman's platter which was advertised with Walleye and Perch. The food was terrible, overcooked and dry. The perch was so over cooked that it almost tore like leather. The Walleye was dry and tasteless.
