A total assmunch of a restaurant. In fact, restaurant is generous. It's a strip mall feeding trough. You might as well be reading reviews about McDonald's, Taco Bell, or Crap Food Ltd. Oh, and it's waaay overpriced.

This place is always good. Its aways the perfect choice when you can't decide what you want! I love their tukey breast sandwhich with pickles, mustard, lettuce and tomato. I highly recommend it, its the perfect combination of tang and meat, and it all makes your mouth feel real good! The baked potato and tomato soups are also really good. The best days to come are Wednesday- Friday, when they have those soups. I'm not happy with the salads they have though, I got the veggie salad, and thought it could've been alot better, I guess I was expecting fresh ingredients, and instead it was jarred red peppers, jarred artichokes, and really funky tasting chickpeas. I think that was the only time I've ever been disappointed with the place.

We got here like ten minutes before close and they gave us free cookies. Love the service, sandwiches, and cookies!!! Thank you.

Potbelly is a very good sandwich shop with soups and salads. The malts are the best I've ever had. The chips are good and compliment the food well. I highly suggest this place to anyone.

Giving 4 stars because I wasn't able to place my order online before coming in; the error message said to call in so I did so. In hindsight I should have sucked it up and went in to place it, as I could hear it was busy and loud - but I was in a hurry, and getting food for a group of hungry men! After arriving home I had some issues with the details of my order, but I would have been much more upset about it had it not been for the responsiveness of Krista (who I placed my order with, checked out with, and spoke to when I got home and realized the errors). She was super friendly and apologetic, and we worked out a solution that made me happy - much praise to her, as had a less gracious employee handled it I would have been more upset and given a totally different review! In any case; errors obviously suck when you get food to-go, because who wants to drive back?! But it was nothing major and the food was still delicious! Thanks Krista, keep up the great customer service :)

A follow up on my last review on September 23, 2012. I received emails from Janet L. Nowlin, "Speaker of the House" (whatever that means) out of Chicago, IL. She did apologize about my experience, and she also sent a gift card to come back and give this location another chance. Not expecting anything like that, I will give them credit for reaching out to try and correct the issue. She also agreed that there is a training opportunity for this location. Hopefully my next time back will be better.

We are so pleased that Potbelly's has come to this area... they do make a darn good sandwich. This particular location has the added bonus of being next to the Container Store, so even more reason to visit! We think the food is as excellent as it is at any Potbelly's -- consistency is a good thing. But we do find the staff of generally teenagers here to be kind of lacking. The last time we went here, I swear the kid who helped us was high. We walked up to the "order" part of the counter and he asked us what we wanted on our sandwiches before we even told him what KIND of sandwich we wanted to order. Weird. I was tempted to order a shake but decided against it because I wasn't sure the kid could handle it. Room for improvement but still a good sandwich.

I love Potbelly and the signature flavor explosion I get in my mouth every time I bite into one of their sandwiches! My favorite is still the roast beef (great flavor with fewer calories than a chicken salad or Italian, which are also great). I order pretty much all the fixings (sans oil), including hot peppers. I like that they will thin-cut the bread, because let's face it...who really needs all those extra carbs? This location is pretty convenient to get in and out of, and I've never really had to wait in line at all when I've come here (although I've never come over the lunch hour). The staff has always been friendly, and they've never screwed up my order, so that's always a plus!

It feels random especially as I'm a foodie, but Potbelly is one of those places where I like pretty much anything they have to offer. Sure, it's not fancy. But sometimes you just want a sandwich for a quick lunch. The sandwiches and soup are great, but my favorite thing on the menu is the sugar cookies. They are amazing, all soft and topped with sugar crystals. By far one of my favorite cookies, so I save them for a real treat. This location is as good as any I've been to, though parking is terrible around peak times.

Yep. I'm a fan. Wifey and I go here often on lunch breaks because of the consistently good sandwiches. The staff at this location are always friendly and polite. I think the sandwiches definitely tastes better than Subway and Jimmy Johns. Also, there is a large selection of bottled drinks. The cookies are amazing!

No, no & no. Very costly, not fresh, not tasty, not satisfying chicken caeser salad...a pretty easy dish to get right. Never again. Only tried this place out of convenience (next door to the fabulous Container Store). The only positive here was the decor.

Friendly staff, not as good of sandwiches as I expected but worth a visit. More of a warning needed for the hot peppers. Omg never again!

Potbelly is a party in your mouth! I totally agree with Kohleen L's assessment. Roast beef is my favorite thing on the menu, too, and I order it with everything but peppers. No matter what Potbelly location I visit, the sandwich tastes exactly the same and it's absolutely delicious. The sides are tiny and very good, but trust me, after the sandwich you won't have room for them anyway. The malts and shakes are delicious and I love the little shortbread cookie they put on the straw for you as an extra little bonus. During lunch, many locations have a folk singer there to provide entertainment. Sorry, Rachel K. Potbelly is 4 years older and "toastier" than Quizno's. Not to mention Potbelly beats them on quality of ingredients, taste, and atmosphere. I find Quizno's value to be poor in comparison.

Hey Subway, suck it. Hey Quiznos, you can suck it too. Potbelly Sandwich Works is kicking your ass. It has a simple set up. A counter to order and select your toppings and a seating area. The space feels big because the ceilings are high. The chairs are little wobbly so watch out. The staff were friendly and efficient when I was there. The food was great. I had the roast beef. The meat was very good and not drenched in cheese. The bread was good too. Also had a vanilla shake. I was expecting much from them on that but they really surprised me. I really enjoyed the shake. The make smoothies, malts, and shakes. Do not ask me to explain the difference. The price was fine for the quality. Regular sized sandwich was $4.40. If I end up in Minneapolis again. I will be coming here for sure.

Toasted subs FTW! You can't really go wrong with sandwiches and this place makes decent ones to choose from. I can't say their subs are anything special but they are better than JJ's in my opinion and also pretty consistent with how they make them (cough cough...JJ's). It can get really busy around lunch time so expect to stalk people for their parking spots and also be hounded by others to get of the parking lot when you leave.

Meh. I don't see what the fuss is about. I went to Potbelly for the first time last night and I wasn't that impressed. I got the Grilled Chicken and Cheddar sandwich which was advertised as their "new" sandwich. It seems silly to me that would be their exciting new sandwich just at how simple the concept was. I got the sandwich and it was okay sub. Nothing remarkable about it. I might have given this restaurant higher reviews if their staff just didn't look so depressed and annoyed to be there. If you want a great sub, go to Quizno's instead since they actually invented the toasting process for the sub.

I have very mixed feelings about this place because I've had a good experience and a bad one now. The food itself is good, but I liked my sandwich the first time more than my most recent visit. The second time I had the wreck and it was just kinda blah. I really liked the Italian and if I'm back I will be getting that again or the Veggie. The other thing I like is the macaroni salad along with the nice bottled drink selection they offer. The staff are always very helpful and very friendly, however I really don't like the setup compared to like a Subway or Quiznos since those are the ones everyone compares this place to. I don't like not seeing my sandwich and the toppings I can choose from. I feel like I don't know what is happening behind the giant wooden walls they have. And now days I feel like I should based on what the other sandwich shops have done to relinquish this vale of secrecy. Other than that the place is good and I like it. On my next trip I have to try one of their shakes though because those look like they could be pretty good.

I'm not a fan of fast food, especially when it comes to sandwiches. I miss the delis in New York and trust me, Subway just ain't gonna cut it. Enter Potbelly. Seriously, these are some GOOD sandwiches. The vegetarian (mushrooms, 3 kinds of cheese and some other stuff that makes me start drooling just thinking about it) is awesome and I've heard nothing but good things about the other sandwiches. Quiznos tosses the entire sandwich into the grill and it's always a cold mess by the time you eat it - Potbelly sandwiches are consistently warm once you go to eat them. People also rave about the soups, but it's hard to find a good vegetarian soup at most places so I have never really looked to see what Potbellys has to offer. And, at $4 and a little bit of change for one sandwich, I'm a huge fan. This particular location is new so it's super clean and big. The employees are always really nice and I've had the same quick service regardless if it's a Wednesday at 4pm or a Saturday during lunch rush. When I get married these bitches are doing the catering. Promise.

Okay, we were new to the area, wanted sandwiches, had heard from friends about Potbelly....thanks, friends! The menu is straightforward, they've already decided what cheese goes best with which sandwich and so on (although you can easily request a change) They have 2 regular soups and a soup du jour, nice variety of flavors there! I loved this lunch so much....something about that pepper mix they piled on my turkey sandwich was so unique from other sandwich shops! The sandwiches are the perfect size and with a cup of soup there was a good bit left over. My husband enjoyed the meatball sub with the gooey melted cheese and rich sauce (he doesn't say, "mm-mm" very often while in public!) and my turkey on wheat loaded with veggies was fresh and fab! We'll be goin' back regularly!

Very meh. Wasn't greeted and then I was fussed at because I didn't know the ordering process. Every table was dirty at 1pm and no employee made an attempt to clean them but one employee plopped down for her lunch break. Food was okay for the price but not enough to bring me back.
