Updated Post (with three star rating): I received a voucher, so I decided to try Broadway again. I was a little hesitant, but my wife and I were able to eat practically for free. The service was way better, and the food was decent. The first experience was really bad, but my last experience was good. Must have been a bad day. Original Post (with one star rating): Yikes! My wife and I decided to stop at Broadway Pizza for dinner because we were out all day shopping. I know that this restaurant has been around for a while and has many locations, so I figured they must be decent. My first clue should have been that the restaurant was completely dead on Father's day. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. It took about 10 minutes for the server to greet us at our table. We placed our order and waited for our food. It took about a half hour for our food to arrive, and during this time the server did not check on us or let us know that the kitchen was backed up. We were just left waiting. The restaurant didn't look busy, so they must have just been short staffed. When the food arrived it was super greasy and unappealing. My wife ordered the gluten-free buffalo chicken pizza, and I ordered the meatball hoagie. My wife is sensitive to gluten, so she was excited that they have a gluten free menu. There was way too much cheese on the pizza relative to the other toppings on the pizza. The hoagie had three meatballs on it with two meatballs on one side and one meatball on the other. There was enough space there for another meatball in the middle. It looked like someone dropped the meatball on the floor and decided to serve the sandwich anyways - leaving a gaping space where the meatball should be. The server brought fries when I asked for onion rings. finally, it looked like the fries came straight out of the fryer because the paper on my plate was covered in grease. I received the onion rings, which were not too bad, five minutes or so after the rest of my meal. I do not recommend this restaurant. The food was not good, the service was poor, and the wait times were unreasonable. I am not one to leave food on my plate, but I could not finish this sandwich. Go somewhere else to eat!

We got some good service, but you can't help but compare pizzas all around. I got a sausage pizza. I like the rootbeer on tap. This was a quick stop before I hit a half price book sale in the same strip mall.

Very well maybe the worst BP I've ever been to. We normally travel over to the original Broadway off Broadway by the River. This one opened up a few blocks from the house, and we were really hoping for the same kind of service and food. Talk about disappointing all around, in every aspect. Two strikes, I won't give them a third strike - it's not worth giving this location the money. First go around, I take my mom here for some pizza after a hectic week. We're seated quick, great. 15 minute later, no server. I don't know if we were invisible or seated in a booth with a mirror hiding us? Finally, a server stops by and no introductions, simply asks for our drinks and if we had a chance to look things over. Ahhh, personable service! Order a raspberry lemonade - no dice. Order a strawberry lemonade - no dice. Order a regular lemonade, no dice.... then get told their lemonade tank is broken. Wonderful! I'm ok with water at this point. My mother orders a drink, bad mistake. Even though I can hit the bar with a spit ball, it takes another 15 minutes for the drink. I seen it sitting on the bar, get up and ask for it. Fast forward another 5 minutes and the server returns - no asking about how the drink magically walked to our table - and asks for our food. We order the cheese bread (just in case the pizza takes an hour) and pizza. The cheesebread comes out quick and is delicious. The pizza takes about 40 minutes, for a thin crust, and then comes out burnt beyond recognition as a pizza. I ate 2 slices, my mother said it's unacceptable and gets the manager. Things get righted to only having to pay for the cheese bread. We leave and I vow never to come back. Second go around, a friend of mine and I are at Half Price Books just around the corner and she gets the hankering for some pizza. I tell her about the experience and she says "oh it was one time, can't be bad like that again." Of course it can't be! Again, we get seated right away, this time in the bar area (just in case). Again, our server is NO WHERE to be found. I finally get up and get us some waters from the bar. Sit back down, 10 minutes go by (the Wild game was on, trust me I was keeping track of the time) and we finally have the server stop in and ask for our food order. No asking about drinks, probably of the assumption someone was covering her considering we had waters? In any event, this time we order the mozz sticks and a thin crust. The mozz comes out in a few minutes, and is cold. I mean, flash fried kind of cold. I ate one, thought about it, and couldn't do it. My pal took one bite, spit it out and called it a night with the sticks. The basket sits there, untouched, 20+ minutes later (the entire 2nd period of the Wild game) and the server finally stops in to see how things are going. We tell her the sticks are ice cold, and were when they were delivered nearly a half hour ago. She doesn't apologize or anything, just takes them away and brings out another basket 5 minutes later. And wouldn't you know, right on her tail our pizza comes out too. So, we now have our appetizer and pizza sitting there at the same time. Hurray. We eat a few pieces of pizza and notice things are just "off." The cheese is like rubber. I mean, I love me some chewy, delicious cheese on my pizza. But, this was like chewing on a tasteless rubber shoe (don't ask how I would know how this would be). We also notice, there is NO SAUCE. I mean, none. I couldn't even see the ladle mark where they pressed the ladle down and spread it. Pretty pissed, I sit there wondering what went wrong between the West River Parkway location and this one. My friend is pretty livid at this point. The server, or I guess someone impersonating a server, doesn't ask how things are, or care, just drops off the check. I did see I got the Mozz sticks comped, that was awfully nice of them. I now look at this location each time I go to Chipotle and curse them for tarnishing my attitude towards Broadway Pizza as a whole. I feel bad for the people that order delivery... I at least had the ability to get up and get my food or drinks.

I brought a group of ten here, later at night on 1/8/15 to celebrate an achievement. I wouldn't have chosen it, but we were in the area and the Google search for the restaurant said they closed and midnight. We spent a ton of money, despite very slow service, but we weren't that upset. What really frustrated me is that despite explaining and showing our server that Google indicates they're open until midnight on Thursdays, the bartender was mind-numbingly rude, shouting things like "TIME TO GO" while we were all getting our coats on and finishing our drinks. The server was fine- he didn't seem to know what to do but was apologetic. A member of our party explained that we were sorry and reiterated that the website indicates a midnight close, to which this horrible bartender exclaimed, "you must have googled the wrong place." I am not an idiot. In fact, I have a screenshot of the Google page. Therefore, I will not be treated like an idiot. If the Internet thinks you are open: FIX IT. Also, fire that bartender if you want to grow your sales. She is a massive part of your problem, if not the entirety.

Took 3 hours for food to be delivered. After waiting for my food for 2 hours I called the store. The excuse was the driver said my address wasn't correct on my online order and that he called to find out the correct address but I'd left an incorrect phone number. I checked my receipt email (I'd ordered online) and both the address was correct and the phone number. The food then took another hour to come and upon arrival the delivery guy refused to come to my apartment door and I had to go get my food. Then when I'd signed the bill I noticed that they charged me a second delivery fee! For their mistake! My order was missing items and the food had obviously been sitting under a warmer because the boneless wings were close to the consistency of beef jerky. The Lasagna I'd ordered was so greasy that the leftovers had an orange coating (of solidified grease) the next morning. It was a terrible experience and Broadway Pizza cheated me out of my money. I filled out the "feedback" section on the website and left the details of my terrible experience and today I received a coupon postcard in the mail for $10 off my next order. Considering that the inedible boneless wings cost $10, they charged me an extra delivery fee, and I didn't receive my full order, $10 is not enough incentive to return to Broadway Pizza. I've never been inside the restaurant but if my experience is any indication of the restaurants customer service as a whole, I would not recommend it at all. I will never order from Broadway Pizza again.

Took us 40 minutes to get a pizza and cheeseburger. There were only 8 other people and they came in after we ordered. Only reason it deserves a star is due to the food.

So I decided that I needed a green beer on St. Patrick's Day. I felt that it would be a let down to my homeland if I didn't partake in some alcoholic merriment. My friend and I decided to head to Broadway, since we didn't really feel like dealing with the crowds at any of the actual Irish Pubs....sad, I know. As sacrilegious as it may seem to head to a pizza place on Irish Drinking Day - we were actually pleasantly surprised. The place was pretty quiet - which was fine with us as we were just trying to catch up and enjoy our beer and each other's company. The food was pretty good as well. I went with the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a salad, and he picked the Italian Sausage Hoagie. Both of us were really happy with our choices....and seemed to enjoy them more and more as well worked our way through our green beers. Strange how those could be connected....haha :) The shining beacon of awesomeness though was not the food, or even the artificially emerald green alcohol. It was our waitress. I feel so bad that I cannot recall her name at the moment - but she was just great. Really fun and personable, as well as super attentive. She really went above and beyond her normal "duties". We will definitly be back :)

Since the demise of Marcello's this is our goto place for good pizza. We've also discovered that we really like the chicken wings, particullary the plum and buffalo. They have a birthday club for children and a model train that drives around the room near the ceiling, both of which my toddler loves. Always get the thin/regular crust with just a few toppings. I've never been disappointed.
