Great service. Our family loves BWW but this location tops all that we have visited. The hostess was extremely friendly and pleasant. The manager, "captain" and at least one other person checked on us, assisting our server. They joked and just seemed like they were having fun. I only wish this location was closer to home. But they have a customer whenever I am in the area. Oh, and the food was good too. As it always is. The new, and limited time only, Blue Moon BBQ sauce is really good. I am a traditional wing guy and the buffalo dry rub is my favorite. I buy it for wings at home.

Visited on 13 Sep 2015 at around 5:30. The TV is so loud that the server and I cannot have a conversation. The manager came by to check on us, and I asked that they turn it down. He of course, cannot hear me. Food came reasonably quick, then the server disappeared. Can't find anyone to get me box or to pay my bill. Won't ever return.

Found a bar table, and waited. 10 minutes later a server comes up and says he'll be there in a little. 10 more minutes he is still tending to other tables. Mind you, no menus, no drinks, and the place is not packed. So we go to the bar. Bartender cracks a joke? Saying he'll need a pen and paper because he can tell our order will be complicated. Wasn't sure if that was more sexist... Or he was just a male chauvinist. So... He then gets our order wrong( rookie mistake) but instead of rectifying the situation just gives us the bill. Then groans and said if you insist I guess I can try to fix the bill with the bad service you received tonight. This restaurant is child's play. How is b dubs stock valued at over $200 + a share? The food is decent, no complaints, but the service is... Under par. If you're unhappy working here, there are other restaurants or careers that you can always apply to!

Craving wings so I decided to hit up b-dubs. It was a Friday night I was afraid it was going to be packed with locals BUT to my surprise it was empty. When we arrived around 10pm we realized it was happy hour! I was happy because who doesn't love cheap food? We were greeted at the door right away & seated immediately. Our booth was a little dirty so we awkwardly stood there for a few min as she wiped the table down. My seat was a little wet with crumbs so I had to wipe it down myself. Our waitress came over right away & asked us what we wanted to drink. I didn't even get to look at the HH drink menu so I just got a water. Not even a minute later she comes and asks us if we wanted appetizers. Again, I haven't even looked at the menu. I like that she gave us great service BUT I didn't even look at the menu yet lol she stood there and watched us order appetizer off the happy hour menu. $3 each. We got the mini corn dogs that come with a honey mustard dipping sauce & mozzarella sticks with marinara dipping sauce. After we placed our appetizers order we didn't see our server for about 10-15 min. We had to hunt her down to put in our wings order. We ordered the traditional wings In large, which came with 20 wings. Our flavored were Caribbean jerk, spicy garlic, lemon pepper, & our server recommended jammin jalapeño. We also got a basket if buffalo chips with cheese & Cajun seasoning. The Caribbean jerk & spicy garlic wings are my favorite. Usually get it everytime I visit. We decided to try the lemon pepper, wingstop offers a delicious version so I decided to try it out here. This is a dry rub seasoning. The flavor was good BUT instead of tossing the wings in the dry rub it looks like they just sprinkled some seasoning on top which left some wings uncoated & bland. I had 2 coated wings & 3 uncoated regular fried chicken. NOT good. I was a little iffy on trying thee jammin jalapeño . Part of me wanted to try it but the other part of me was like no! The description said spicy jalapeño with lime. Let me tell you there was nothing lime about that flavor. It tasted like sweet BBQ with an after taste of jalapeño. It was too sweet & the jalapeño taste just lingers. NO spice to it. The buffalo chips with cheese & Cajun is always delicious. The service was good, the food was ok. Good spot to hit up if you want wings & full bar.

This place was just terrible I ordered 12 boneless wings and a large fry. They brought out cold fries and old wing that were dried out and not even lukewarm just cold. I asked for a new fries and chicken and the waiter brought out warm fries and put my chicken in a microwave tried serving it to me saying they were fresh but my half eaten chicken was still in there...... this was absolutely the worst service I have had.....

I order take out on my computer before making a Target run bc I'm old and its hard to get a babysitter and I save money drinking beer at home. In any case, the crew at the pick up window is a bunch of pros, and my yummy hot wings and I driving home to have date night with the DVR. Wings = good.

This place just isn't good like others in the metro. I ordered mild wings as I hate hot stuff, I was pretty certain that they had given me medium. When I talked our server she acted like she didn't believe me, and then when they came out the manager stood there so he could make sure it was right. Both acted like I committed a culinary crime. Oh and maybe had they not messed up my two friends orders I may not have said anything and sucked it up. For as many people it looked like were "working" the service was spotty at best. Dont even get me started on when the bills came.

Given that it's March Madness, we figured we would enjoy some wings while taking in all the bustle with the games. When we arrived we put in our name and were told it would take 20-30 minutes. See as it was 6pm on a Saturday, we figured that was reasonable. While we waited we watched two different customers have issues with their take out orders. Both had left with their orders and had to come back because they were wrong. Our wait got close to an hour and when we were finally sat, they took us to a table for 5 people with five menus. Mind you, there were only two of us. The host seemed surprised and confused and said the other host must have just written it down wrong and that we waited too long for only being 2 of us. We then sat for 10 minutes before a waitress came over. She informed us she wasn't our server, but she would be willing to get us some drinks until our waiter arrived. Again we waited and no waiter came. The waitress came back and said she would go ahead and take care of us. She was really great and was attentive despite the business around us. We watched the managers just hang out near the kitchen talking, the hosts messing up tables time and again, and the "captain" waitress just walking around and not helping the other waiters in the slightest. While we aren't going to totally write off BWW, we will certainly not be going back to this location.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar and had very good service. We enjoyed a couple beers and shared Mozzarella Sticks. For dinner, I had the Mediterranean Salad and my wife had the Chicken Chopped Salad. Both were good. Since we caught the end of happy hour, the value seemed good.

We have tried both the Southdale and MOA Buffalo Wild Wings several times. Service: The service is consistently horrible when they are busy. We entered their Southdale location to see four "hostess" at front desk. After they finished their visit, they looked up to greet us. We waited another 10 minutes before someone cleaned off one of the five empty tables we saw when we entered. We waited another 10 minutes before a waitress to come by and get a drink order. It then took another 15 minutes to get two beers. We placed our order and in about 20 minutes our appetizer and wings came together. Wings were cool to the touch and the onion rings only warm from the heating lamp. We waited a long time for a check at the end. Bring cash in small bills as they have never come by to the collect money. On two visits during off times we were swarmed with wait staff and captains introducing themselves and asking if there was anything we needed to the point were they were annoying and intrusive. I am not sure what the captain does other then change the channel on TV. They do not bus tables, serve food, take orders or bring drinks when they are busy. Expect a noisey time with loud music and crying children playing over the game you came to watch but not hear. Food: In 6 visits between the two stores, we have only had one time where wings came out warm (11:20 am at MOA on a Wednesday). Apparently no one orders salads, since greens have always been wilted and/or brown. They said they do not have Italian salad dressing so I ordered their "lite balsamic" and they brought me Italian dressing. The grilled chicken is diced into half-inch cubes and is probably leftovers from another day. Bottom line is to only ordered deep fat fried items on menu. As for the sauces, Caribbean Jerk has some nice flavors and a fair amount of heat. Most of the other hot sauces in red scale will be hot with no flavor. The Mango Habanero has no mango flavor just heat. The Thai Curry is heat with just a hint of curry flavor. The dry sauces we have tried are mostly salt. I suggest you go on Tuesday or Thursday night when you can order only four of a kind in any particular flavor. You and your party could sample many different flavors. Once you find a few you like, order a bottle or jar at the take-out counter (another wait for just a bottle of sauce sitting in a cabinet). The wings were fried in tallow years ago. I do not know if this is still true. That is why they taste good but are not necessarily good for you. You might also find a new favorite beer through sampling several over a few visits. Don't expect the staff to be able to recommend a brew since most are under 21. Southdale store is across the street from a liquor store so you can take-home your new favorite beer with your bottles of sauce.

Spicy Garlic. There is really nothing else to say. The wings are delicious. I have tried nearly all of the sauces & dry rubs ('cept for that really scorching hot sauce) and they are all freaking amazing. Spicy Garlic is my favorite. I dream about Spicy Garlic sauce. It is that good. They have a lot of good beers (Surly Furious) on tap as well.. and the servers are always friendly & quick. We usually sit in the bar area (I'm not a fan of the restaurant area). There are about a billion TV's in BWW, so be prepared for a bunch of distractions.. but I guess that is all part of the BWW experience.. :) MMMM.... Spicy Garlic...

Shout out to my server at Buffalo Wild Wing. She was a great server. But then as I left, I did probably the stupidest thing ever...I left my Ipad there. My server held on to it for me. I love honesty!

We like Buffalo Wild Wings as a casual, date-night spot for chicken wings. But it is in no way a 5-star restaurant. You should expect average service and food. We go there a lot and normally have a decent time - just thought I'd share our last interesting experience. It was a Friday night, so it was busy. I figured we'd have a bit of a wait. The hostess affirmed that, but then told us there was actually a '2-person' table in the back that couples like to sit at sometimes. I told her that was fine, we just wanted to sit and eat. Didn't matter where really. She sat us down and it was a little awkward... just a tiny random table behind a bunch of booths, really close to a 'servers-stand' (you know, with the computer on it). But we were just happy we were seated! ... and then came the SUN. We would've closed the curtain on the window but it was a door to the outside, so it had to curtain. The sun was at the PERFECT angle, right in my boyfriend's eyes. The awkward table, I asked for, the blinding sun, not so much. The waiter noticed and awkwardly made terrible jokes and shifted our table around at weird angles to get my boyfriend out of the sun. He was goofy about it so it was somewhat ok...but still rather strange and it was ruining my appetite because I was uncomfortable... especially since the other waiters/waitresses kept making jokes as they passed by. We finally realized there was really no way to shift our pathetic little table out of the sun and not be in the middle of an aisle, I asked if another table opened, if we could be moved. APPARENTLY that wasn't an option at all for some reason. I mean, I understand if there is a 'wait-list', but can't they add our names to it? Apparently not... there was nothing they could do except awkwardly stick menus to the window to block sun...and that hardly even helped considering the sun moves... All in all, it was alright. They really shouldn't offer that table to anyone though... it's a really bad spot and HIGHLY uncomfortable. Food was decent like always. Waiter was awkward and annoying, but also tried to be funny and light-hearted. He was also very very busy but still managed to keep checking in with us. I give him a "B".

BWWs is a good place to have wings and watch a sports game. The sauces are good and can combo the sauces so you can have a variety when eating. If you have boneless, get extra sauce. They tend to scrimp on the sauce. I normally come in here after a soccer game. They are always accommodating quick when the team comes in to eat.

It's a chain, most are the same This one actually has some good and knowledgeable servers and bartenders. Every time I have gone here I am promptly served and they are really friendly. Only thing I don't like is it seems like the size of the food has shrunk. I remember my first BWW experience where I could barely polish off 8 traditional wings....now I could probably do 18. Food is lacking, but the service has always been good.

In the past Buffalo Wild Wings has great food for a chain restaurant. Unfortunately last time several coworkers and I got take-out the order was wrong. My coworker picked up the food and had to go back inside after getting to her car because part of the order was incorrect. Then, once returning to work we realized that of the 5 meals ordered and PAID for we only received 4. When we called to tell them they said that the other box was "sitting right here" and then blamed my co-worker saying "I asked if she wanted to check to see if everything was correct." When given only a handful of minutes for lunch it's difficult to then have to unpack and go through 5 boxes to ensure that each is correct! When we returned to the restaurant to pick up the missing food that had at that point been sitting out for 45 minutes we were offered no apology or discount. Just the whiny excuse "I told her to check to see if the order was correct and she didn't want to!" Then, after returning to work with the missing food my coworker said it was so gross it was inedible. I had ordered the 8 boneless wings meal with fries. When I opened my box the boneless wings were 1/2 breaded--they hadn't lost their breading after being cooked, it was apparent that they were breaded and cooked very sloppily. And there was a regular chicken wing in the box along with 7 boneless wings. The coworker who paid almost $50 for this whole debacle took my inedible food and returned to the store to complain. She was met with rudeness and the excuse that "our manager isn't here." And when she asked how she can contact the manager she was told "I can't tell you that." I will never return to this awful restaurant! Who knows if the order will be correct, the food will be cooked properly, how long the food will be sitting out behind the counter, or if the service will be polite? Terrible, just terrible. Clearly Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't care about having happy customers.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings! I dream about Spicy Garlic and Asian Zing wings at night. I think about Hot BBQ and Desert Heat wings at my desk at work. My mouth is watering. I wish I could eat a plate of 120 wings each time I go...but I usually wind up stuffed at the count of 12. They serve big ass taps of Surly Furious, which puts a smile on my face. Don't buy a Bud, or Miller...buy a Surly, and keep it local. For 6 bucks, the tall taps they serve here are a really great deal. The service has been stellar the few times I have been to this location. Each time we've had prompt service from the door to the bill. If you like sports and trivia, this is your place. Throughout the restaurant they have at least three separate sports channels going at one time...and trivia games going as well, in case you need to do bit more multitasking. If you want to avoid kids...sit in the bar. Seating is actually better in the bar...and the views of the large TV screens is much better...and more liable to give you a seizure...which is why you came, right? It will go good with your food coma you will be in after you finish your meal. MMMMmmmm....wings.

We've eaten at this BWW a handful of times over the past couple years, and service has varied widely. Generally service has been pretty standard, but about 4 months ago I had an experience there that made me NEVER want to go back. We waited FOREVER for our order to be taken, even longer for the food to be delivered, and good luck getting refills on beverages because our server was AWOL most of the time--In fact, we had to flag down someone else to get us our bill, and even then we had to wait so long that we literally considered walking out. It was ridiculous. So, when it was suggested that we visit this particular location again last night (purely out of convenience for all parties), I was less than thrilled with the idea. Thankfully we didn't have as poor of an experience. Our server was at least around if we needed something (although it took until the end of our meal before she offered us refills, and by then our mouths were completely on fire). She did score a few points when she split up our somewhat complicated bill and prepared some take-home sauce (of a limited availability flavor not sold in bottles). Knowing my beau was in love with said sauce, she even brought a lid for the leftover dipping container on the table--like the Maxwell House slogan, it's apparently "good to the last drop". So, long story short, I won't avoid going here so much, but there are definitely better locations IMO. But if I'm in the area and I'm in a wing frenzy, I'll give em another shot. Favorite flavors: desert heat (dry rub) and limited edition sauces: thai curry, pepper infusion, smoky southwestern

My husband and I haven't been to a BWW for years and were having a craving for some wings, so we decided to do take-out from the Crystal location. What a disappointment. We placed our order online, received a confirmation to pick up the order at 6pm. My husband arrived about 5 minutes to 6:00 and when he checked in with the hostess, he was told there was no order placed. (there was....I was the one who placed it. I had the total, etc.) The hostess was rude, not apologetic and asked him to reorder. While taking the re-order, the phone rang. The hostess didn't say "excuse me" to take the call, she just took it and stayed on the phone for an extended period of time. When the re-order finally came out, it was wrong and had to be sent back again. No apologizies, no explanation, nothing. While my husband was waiting for the correct order, another employee (not a manager) came out and said, "here's a coupon for 6 free wings" and walked away. When he got home, the food wasn't even worth the hassle. The buffalo wings were overcooked and dry and the potato slices were cold and unseasoned. There were no utensils, napkins or wet naps in the bag. Nor we were asked if we wanted any. And one of our appetizers was supposed to come with a side of sauce, which wasn't included. And for all of this, we paid nearly $40. Its really too bad because our memory of BWW was of good food and quality customer service. Maybe other locations are better, but the Crystal location is not a place where we will spend any more of our money..

We go to this one because it's close by the house but it is not by any means our preferred BWWs. The service is generally poor and the wings or nachos are often lacking. If you want saucy wings you have to say it but even then they can come out dry. We've only had one time when the service and most importantly the food was stellar. If possible go to the Plymouth BWW before here.

Pick another location to go to! This one has by far the worst service. The servers spend more time BSing by the bar and kitchen than they do checking on their tables. No refills, etc. Also they are 0 for 2 with getting my to-go order correct also. This location is in a bad part of town and they are frequented by a "rougher crowd".
