DQ has always been expensive among fast food joints. I enjoy the chicken strip basket but strips are small and for 4 pieces you pay a lot for it. They are very stingy with their condiments, charging for additional dip cups. For a chicken strip basket + dessert you will easily pay over $10 for your meal, if not closer to $15. This location has been going through a renovation which has been taking a while to complete.

Literally every time we go there my family (of 3) someone's order is wrong. Last time we ordered a mint Dilly bar and get home and in the bag is a plain chocolate one. You could tell because it was broken in half and clearly not mint. Come on. At least pretend to care and maybe check an order before you shove it through the window. This particular location has gone down the toilet in the past 5 years.

Horrible experience! They mixed up our order and then tried to argue with us about it. Reported it to management and they never bothered to contact us. Will not go back!!!

I live about a mile from this Dairy Queen and choose to drive farther to find a Good Dairy Queen. I've had a couple meals have thick, curly hair in it...which I chalked up to, "hey it happens". But this last time WAS the LAST TIME. I ordered two 6pc chicken strip baskets to go and when I got home, both had four tiny strips in them so I checked the receipt, and I ordered correctly, the receipt read two 6 pc baskets...so I called there and asked to speak to a manager. I told him what I had ordered and what I had received. His response? "Are you sure you ordered properly?" Me-"yes" Him - "did you count them properly?" Me-"yes...it's not too hard to count 4 twice." Him-"well we have a machine that counts the strips on the order, so I think you're wrong". Me- "excuse me!? I just opened these meals and I'm looking down at two four pieces...did you want me to bring them back?" Him- "No, because you probably just ate the other four...how can I believe you?" Me- "Wow..I've never been treated this terrible at any restaurant...I'm never coming back and I'll encourage all my friends, family and coworkers to stay away from your dodgy little place. Thank you for your GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!" So now if ever we crave DQ...Eagan or Apple Valley we go

If I could give this DQ a "0" I would. We ordered a small Oreo Blizzard with cocoa fudge and a pup cup and the total came to over $6.50, which did not sound right at ALL. We got up to the window and asked her to explain why it was so expensive and she said: small Blizzard - $4.19 (what?!), cocoa fudge - $0.79, and pup cup - $1.39 (again...what?!). Their prices are insane compared to others, for example, in Apple Valley (where the pup cups are free by the way!). They already had everything made so we couldn't cancel our order, but we will never return to this DQ again that's for sure.

Not sure what people's problems are but it's DQ. Its fast food and it's pretty decent. As for this specific chain, they are quick and always have a clever sign out front. You can't beat their Blizzards.

I love DQ ice cream treats in the summer.. just not from this DQ. I live in the area so it is convenient to go here but I will drive the extra miles to hit the DQ in Apple Valley because they know to run a store. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when DQ did the 25th Blizzard Anniversary special which was advertised on TV. It was a buy 1 get 1 for a quarter. I went to this location in the drive through, ordered 4 blizzards. I hand her my credit card and she hands me 1 of the blizzards right away. She then comes back with my card and I noticed the total was for 4 blizzards and I didn't get any for a quarter. I asked about getting 2 for .50 because of the 25th anniversary and she said "we aren't participating in that special". I ended up just keeping the blizzards but told her "I won't be participating in coming here ever again." It's been over 3 years and the Apple Valley location has seen every dime of our business. Yeah I spend more in gas and mileage but its just principle now for me. Good luck Highway 13 Dairy Queen.
