Great experience at this Starbucks inside Target! They made my drink hot & just as I ordered it. I got a Caramel Brulée Latte (holiday time only) and it was delicious. Great for the cold weather-- well, cold to this California girl. The two barista girls were very nice and I would be happy to come here again on my next trip.

Nawal Restaurant Llc

Reviews:
I love this restaurant. The staff is amazing and the food is outstanding. Every time I stop in, they suggest something I should order and give me a small sample of food or sauce to try. I can't say enough good things about the staff, they are so friendly and helpful every time I'm there. The food is delicious and very inexpensive. I've tried most of the items on the menu and everything has a ton of flavor and good spice levels. The portions are huge no matter what you order, so you really get a lot for your money. Don't let the seemingly exotic menu scare you. You will love the food and you will be treated well by the entire staff. I recently moved further away from Nawal, but that won't stop me from traveling a little further to continue eating their food. This place deserves your attention, even if you just want to stop in on a cold day for a tea with milk and some soft, warm mulawah.
For $11 I got the goat combo to go. It came with loads of deliciously seasoned rice topped with roasted and sauteed goat and onions. A little salad with ranch (very little but enough), a banana, and a soda. It's super affordable and SO delicious! They have a ton of different combos to choose from but the goat is one of their most popular dishes and one of the cashier's favorites. They are quick to serve, so I ordered and got my order within 10 minutes. Everything is super flavorful, spices are on point and just enough for a good balance with the rice. I didn't get a banana but it was supposed to come with it, and that's used to cleanse the palate between bites of goat and rice. The fact that the goat is roasted and sauteed bone-in makes it all the more delicious - you can suck some of the marrow out and it's the yummiest, fattiest marrow ever. This place is more of a fast food type of place - you order and can eat there, but it isn't a restaurant, if that's what you're looking for. The people here are very friendly, the place is clean, they have a couple tables outside, and all in all I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.
This place replaced the panda wok that only lasted 6 months this one seems to be a keeper whenever I drive by they always have cars parked out front meaning it's a favorite among locals already. Everything seems to be under $10 with big portions I was craving sambusa to eat and ordered a few take out. The cashier fried some up fresh before taking our cash. There's a tv and about 5 small tables if you want to eat in.

Brueggers Bagels

Reviews:
Love this place! Staff is so friendly, food is great, and best of all it's so clean!!!
Finding a decent bagel in MN was an adventure. We found this online so I decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised they were very good. The shop will prepare your bagel in just about any combination you can think of or just order a dozen for take out. They had an excellent array of flavored cream cheese to compliment the order. They have plenty of tables if you wish to sit down to enjoy their products. Clean and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for good bagels give this a try.
I surprisingly had never actually sat down and ate in a Brueggers Bagels before, so this was a first time experience for me. Nothing too crazy. ha. I came here with a date and he ordered a sandwich, soup and hot chocolate. I opted for a coffee, plain bagel with low-fat veggie cream cheese. The food and beverages were served fresh. The young lady helping us was friendly and attentive. The tab came to around 12 bucks, not a bad price for an afternoon bite. The shop was clean and not busy at all, we had our choice of seating. Definitely a very casual place to come for conversation and good food.

Nina’s Grill

Reviews:
Nina's has the best Russian food in the Twin Cities. I work across the street a well-known Russian restaurant in Cathedral Hills in St Paul but would make the drive to Burnsville every time I'm in the mood for Russian food. Nina, the owner is very friendly and personable. When she puts food on our table, I wait for her to say "Yum Yum!" before I dig in!
This place rocks. Amazing drink specials and the food is very much homemade. It feels like you are at family's house when you are here. Nina is great!
Well, this place is different. If you are looking for an authentic Russian food then definitely yes. But be prepared to have something not spicy and be totally clear something without any spices and taste except salt and pepper. But that's how we cook in Eastern Europe. So for an authentic food this place could definitely get five stars. And for an atmosphere as well. If you want to see a fight while you are dining out then start driving to Nina's right now. Service is not great at all. They served undercooked chicken but fixed it right away for putting it longer to the oven. And sometimes they are not polite :) Not sure it is because I speak Russian and the severs felt more casual or maybe that's a way to create real Russian dive bar atmosphere.

Great Harvest Bread Company

Delicious. Love the cinnamon bread and the cinnamon rolls.
The stout Gouda loaf, while delicious with stout braised corned beef, was even more delicious as a sandwich made with leftover rotisserie, Hellman's, salt & pepper. Just sayin... Oh, and the little bit remaining was still fresh and soft a few days later.
I visited the Friday before Easter and there were bread bunnies all over the store! Most of them were dressed up and named. They were $12 for the bunny, which was equal to a regular loaf of their bread. I just couldn't pay that price. I came looking for gluten free bread or any options. I learned this location does not carry any, due to milling their own flours here. I was disappointed as I have a family member who was going to be at Easter brunch with Celiac disease (I am not on the gluten free trend train). The staff were so friendly and offered to help me find stuff to bring. I got lost in the wall of recipes. I probably took 10 copies of things I wanted to create. I left eating a caramel sea salt oatmeal cookie, which was delicious! Try a sample when you first walk in, they are not just for the kiddos!

I've eaten at the Blue Ox many times. Great for lunch! Good food, Fast, good portions at a good price. Have not had a bad meal ever. Very consistent. Sandwiches are great, soups are good. Walleye sandwich is really good!
Very nice surprise and a welcome relief from my usual JJ or Subway routine. I am glad I found this local sandwich joint. I had to come back before I left town. I'll stop by again next time I'm in the area. Would recommend to anyone.
One of my faves. Love the Turkeyville Smoker and the shakes are great!

JoJo’s Rise & Wine Bar

Food/Drink: I've been here a few times, first time since starting to yelp so review time is on. I went with their coffee, but have had some of their espresso drinks in the past. I stuck around for an hour and did a refill. For not being a gimmick or big chain this was all good in the hood (rimshot please). The trick with this place is that they have wine and beer (though I'm not sure if I could have got it at 9AM, it is the burbs after all). I didn't see a lot of food flying around so I'll stick with the liquids for now. Ambiance: Party in the front, business in the back (or something like that). In the front area there's couches, carpets, bars, wines and all sorts of warmth and joy. In the back, there's tables and chairs setup for workers or people to converse, etc. Even further in the back is a special reserve only room with the door open, boy was I tempted to go in. And the internet is pretty fast and reliable which I'm really happy about. There's even a pseudo street/parking lot next to the place so you can park there if you're planning to be there for a while (pick up parking also exists directly in front). Service: Good. I'm always happy to pay for a refill, but even happier when I'm told don't sweat it. The initial person behind the register seemed a little fluster, but then again it is the morning and so was I without coffee. Overall: Given the options in the area, I think this place is great. I wouldn't consider it a destination coffee shop/bar/food/wine. They're quick enough to get you your order and on your way (if that's your cup of tea, rimshot please) or even supporting you "working remotely" sipping on some wine later in the afternoon.
Things I've tried: Bruschetta: It was very simple. Pretty much cheese and tomatoes. Turtle Sundae: Vanilla ice cream, chocolate drizzle, caramel, whipped cream and walnuts. It was a nice treat after a meal but not anything special. Coffee: I get regular black coffee and a couple pumps of raspberry flavoring--yummy! Although I wouldn't come here for a meal, I really enjoy coming here because it's a great place to spend time with friends and enjoy the board games they have available. Just grab some coffee or wine and have a fun time catching up :)
Had no idea this place (or this part of Burnsville!) even existed! I used to live in MN, and a friend suggested it as a meet up place, she looking for tea, and me, something stronger. :-) she had the mint tea, I had the Cabernet, and we were both pleased. I chatted with a nice local at the counter, while I waited for my friend. Also, they have a few cute crafty/artsy things for sale, as well as some unique greeting cards-- perfect for small gifts. My friend also had a sundae, it was awesome. Lots of tables for eating, and some comfy couches and chairs near a fire place. We are definitely going back!
