Great classic American food option! Convenient location, fresh off the grill food, and our favorite sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo make this one of our staple restaurants. We like their sweet potato fries so much, we will sometimes go there just for the fries to supplement our meals at home. Prices are great for good sized helpings. We will be going to Streetz again and again!

I got the Philly cheese steak burger and it was awesome. The cheese fries were covered with cheese, not like normal when you have so search for cheese on your fries. I'll be back for sure.

Sweet potato fries only taste good when you eat them right away otherwise it's cold and lacks the wow factor. They did taste like funnel cake for a while! Surprising flavor that my friend and I both agreed on. The philly cheese steak was flavorful but the bread was just soggy. I would not get it again unless the bread was crisp and toasted. $14 all together and not really worth it to be honest.

I decided to go to lunch with my and we went to bland town and took a trip on the bland train. It was flavorless, expensive even with the big big portions. I had the Philly cheese steak and even the jalapeños were bland. Had the cheeseburger, no flavour. The chili cheese fries were bland like a white wall. Super disappointed. Spent money and no satisfaction. This American cuisine was not even to American standards.

We had a party of 6 with 2 little ones. The staff was quite patient with us as we wrangle kids and had 2 "less decisive" people in our group. It was kind of hard to be decisive though! The menu had a ton of different options and it all sounded wonderful. The place was clean and well maintained. They have large booths for bigger parties which was really fun and easy to have conversation. The kids immediately found the photo - they made some money there with our party! Really fun, snap four pictures, sitting in the booth. The kids had a blast with that. My part stuck to desert for this trip. We all had various shakes and sundaes. They are large! Make sure you have enough room before you go! The staff was very attentive to us and offered us ice water when we walked through the door. Next time, I have a few meals that I was eyeing that I would like to try, I will be sure to yelp then for a fuller review. They have an outdoor seating area that would be nice if the weather were a bit cooler. Ample parking, large dining area, nice acoustics too. Definitively a family friendly, fun place.

Nothing to spectacular. I just like their poutine and chipotle fries. The burger, gyros, and salads were all very basic. The food is good, but it wouldn't be something that you would be craving.

Don't bother. Imagine part Fuddrucker's, part Snuffy's, part Epic Burger (in Chicago), and part Five Guys. All the bad parts combined into one, and you have Streetz American Grill. They said they've been open for four weeks now. The line to place your order is a bit of a cluster. It could be a mess when (if) they get busy. I ordered the 'Monster' Chicago Dog burger with Coney Fries. It took over 15 minutes to get the meal. During that time, I noticed how loud it was in the restaurant. An opportunity to improve is to have a better system than having diners put a number on their table and watching employees run around the restaurant with frantic looks on their faces trying to find diners inside and outside on the patio to serve them their food. They were playing Oldies music, but the inside was trying to be industrial/urban. Speaking as a marketing dude, they really need some serious help with their branding and their message. You barely see their name on the inside of the building. Perhaps they are embarrassed to put their name on anything. The monster burger was anything but monster. It was slightly larger than a slider. The food itself was kind of meh. I'd much rather go over one more block over 35W and go to 98 Pounds the next time I'm in that area. The only saving grace was the very polite woman who brought the food. That, and the photo booth they had in the restaurant. (I love photo booths. Don't ask me why, although this one was out of place here.) They are only open until 9:00 PM and closed on Sundays. Snuffy's and Epic Burger have nothing to fear. If all things stay the same at Streetz American Grill, I give it a year until the space becomes something else again.

Their menu looks awesome. They are a part of a food delivery service offered at my work. I ordered the Bleu Grilled Ck sandwich and added buffalo sauce along with a side salad. I'm sure the experience in the restaurant would be better, but for $12, I got a soggy, extra drippy sandwich. The dripping wasn't the buffalo sauce added, but more like watery juices from what they cooked the chicken in. I will say the bacon was thick cut and cooked great. I did request no tomatoes or red onions, but they failed to honor this, putting loads on both the salad and the sandwich. Will I order from them again for food delivery? Nope and unfortunately the experience will probably defer me from dining in. There are better restaurant options on this program that manage to deliver meals in great condition.

The chili cheese fries. Wow. That basket alone could feed a family of five. It was awesome. It was the only thing I tried, but I'm going back.

Decent food. The sweet potato waffle fries were alright but only taste good so long as they are fresh. The philly cheese steak sandwich was good with the jalapeños but the bread fell flat- limp and soggy. I would not eat here again in my opinion.

The sweet potato fries are phenomenal. They could narrow the menu some and just focus on purely American food to draw out the diner feel. Still, this is a good local joint.

After driving by an empty building and watching this place grow out of what used to be the old Denny's, I had to give it a shot at least once. With that being said it was not what I expected at all. In my mind I had pictured it as being a place where you sit down and order your food. When we walked in the door the line was backed up to the door and it was very loud inside. One of the members of our group immediately went to poach a booth to sit in. The line moved at a steady pace but needs to be organized in some fashion. I noticed the everyone in the restaurant looked like they were trying it for the first time. I ordered the Chicken Cheddar Burger which was what was expected. Tasted good. Others in my group ordered the Classic Greek Gyro which looked good. One other ordered the Phiily Cheese Steak w/o onions and it was very good. We ordered a basket of fries which was a large amount to share for three people. I probably would have ordered a dessert but while ordering all that other food I was not sure I'd have room. Would have been nice to not have to wait in that huge line if I wanted a shake. The line at the pop machine was long and they need to add a second machine. Something needs to be done about how loud it is inside. Could barely have a conversation amongst the three of us.

This joint gets a solid 4. Very polite staff.. Solid effort there. That usually sells me alone. Food - No complaints.. Burger (ordered medium) came out a bit dry.. but such is life. We ordered our fries well done.. they were delicious. Overall - family liked it. again, 4 stars easily. Maybe they had some growing pains with previous reviews? Photo booth was broken, Manager refunded money no question. I like it. I like being treated with respect. We will be back.

Went to Streetz with my wife and infant son. We had a good time and will go back some time. It is the same style of restaurant as SmashBurger where you order at the counter, you get a number, and they deliver the food to you. This type of place is very easy to eat at with an infant (4 months old) son. Food - The food was good. I got the Q burger and my wife got a Philly Sandwich. Both were good, better than I expected. What we really enjoyed were the fries. We got Poutine and Sweet Potato fries. Side note - a basket will easily feed two people and Poutine may be a better app then side dish. Sweet Potato fries were great! They were thinner waffle fries which I liked. It made them a little crunchier. We did not get a shake, but others around us did and they looked really good. It looked like they all had a vanilla wafer in them. Bathroom - Our son decided that he wanted to give us the opportunity to change him in public while we were there. The Men's bathroom does having a baby changing station in it, which surprisingly isn't true for all places. The floors were a little sticky. It was otherwise clean. Directions - If you are going East on Old Shakopee Road/98th Street, you have to turn before the stoplight, I made the mistake of not turning there and got the chance to make a u-turn in the parking lot of a strip mall. My wife and I were both very happy with this place and will go back.

This is a stroll up to the counter, order and sit down kind of place. A step up from a dive. No ambiance but that is okay. The photo booth (2 strips of 4 photos for $2) adds a fun touch. It wasn't busy when we came in and the man at the counter was very pleasant and patient while I asked questions. They do serve burgers cooked to order here (even rare) but we didn't order any. The Philly Cheese Steak was calling my name and was reminiscent of Pat's and Geno's (one whiz with). I added mushrooms to the Cheese Whiz and onions - other options are available. Very good. My brother had the macaroni and cheese. It was good but with a little more creamy cheese sauce it could have been perfect. The malt was decent sized, thick and tasted good. Even the cookies were good and I am picky about those. I recommend giving them a try for a casual meal. It would be great with kids and they have three kid's meals for under $4. Wine and beer are served as well.

Burgers are good cooked your way so if you want medium rare, you get it that way. Thumbs up for that, good menu selection but do not recommend the hand cut fries unless you like soggy fries. Me not so much. Very disappointed with the coney fries. Chili very poor tasting, actually no flavor and once again fries soggy. Hardly any cheese on top. Also they do not take phone orders. Never called a place that did not take phone orders till now.

Streetz American Grill is on the way to our dancing lessons, so we saw the place being built and drove past for a few months after they opened. From the outside, it looked slightly upscale, so we decided to try it without doing any research. Walking up the sidewalk, we looked in through the window, and thought it was Burger King. We almost turned around and left. Date night dinners aren't about fast food. Just as we were turning around, a couple who had overheard our conversation told us it was good food and that they came once a week. Apparently, for some, date night dinners are about fast food. We went in. After all, what kind of fast food place serves beer? There's a counter to place your order, then you get a number to put on your table. I wanted to try a variety of stuff, so we ordered more food that we were planning to eat. Between the two of us, we got a cheeseburger, a gyro, poutine, chipotle & salsa fries, and the Philly cheesesteak salad with chicken. The burger could have been served in any school cafeteria in the country. It wasn't bad, exactly, but it clearly came frozen after being pressed from the least favorable parts of a very bland cow. The pita for the gyro had more in common with cardboard than flatbread. It was actually stiff and crumbly. The gyro meat was pretty good, though. The poutine-never get poutine at a fast food joint-tasted like nothing but salt. Seriously, it's fries smothered in gravy, bacon, and cheese curds. How can you get that wrong? Answer: make a dish full of awesome taste like salt. The salsa for the chipotle & salsa fries was sour cream floating in salsa water and the the chipotle seasoning on the fries was red salt, which was ok, because the industrial yellow goo they called cheese sauce was really just a clever way to liquify more salt. The salad was good, though. If you go there, totally get the salad.

Pretty good food, location and style. A little pricey but the food portions are big; shakes and malts are great too!

I'm writing this sitting in my car finishing my meal. Really, really good cheeseburger & fries. Counter guy was kind enough to break the rules and sell me a kids' meal (wasn't that hungry, didn't want to commit to bigger-sounding options) and I'm glad he did, because I will definitely go back. Burger wasn't over-cooked, and I don't know what they do to the bun but it was awesome. Fries were also great. Not shoe-string thin (which I love) but still crispy and perfect saltiness. My only complaint: portion sizes. I struggled to finish the kids' meal (but somehow persevered). It clearly says it's an option for guests 12 and younger. Every other option was considerably bigger. I'd love to go back and get the kids burger & fries, but maybe don't want to drop $8.00 for the same thing (albeit much bigger) because I won't finish it. Would love it if they could add a "right-size" choice for guests who want a petite meal (like Smash Burger does). But this is small issue, because it was really good.

Went in at 8pm. I ordered the regular burger with a side of fries and my guest ordered the chicken gyro. The burger was great but the fries were horrible. It looked like it was fried & reheated a couple times, totally soggy & some parts burned. My guest said the chicken gyro could have been made better at home. Pita bread was flat & there were no cucumbers for any kind of crunch to the gyro.

I've been wanting to try the new one in Bloomington, so when my kids asked where I wanted to go for my birthday, I thought it would be a fun place for our large family. When they heard how many were in our party, they put us in a special room to ourselves. I was so thrilled to see you could get a burger with avocado. My burger was cooked the way I like it and the bun was fresh. The malt was big enough to share and you could get all kinds of different fries. The prices were good and they have take out. My granddaughters loved the photo booth. They even let my daughter bring in a special cake for me. It's not a place to go sit and visit. It's a place to go have fun and not worry if the kids are too loud. I will be back!

The milkshake is a 0.5. The Philly Cheesesteak is a 3. The Sweet Potato Fries are a 3.5 The service gets a 4. I won't be going out of my way to come back; however, I'll probably give it another chance sometime.

Had the Q burger and the Herb and truffle fries. Fries were outstanding. Would recommend as the guy in line also did. Ordered the burger medium(came well done). Could have used a little more BBQ sauce. Overall decent food and employees were friendly.

I came here with my dad for lunch before work. We had the Chicago dogs, poutines, and a gyro. Chicago dogs were pretty good, gyro was okay, poutines were different as I had never had them before but still good. Great atmosphere here, really upbeat and fun. Urban interior is really cool.

The good: Food is yummmmmy! Beer! The bad: idk maybe cost...? :/ Idk... maybe I'm just a loyal customer to Jimmy Johns, Potbelly, and Subway. But i feel like you get more food for your buck over there then here. However, prices are definitely reasonable. It's like a smash burger, modern day Fuddruckers, or a burger-like noodles and company. So my dad took me here and was like "that look good? Ok your getting it." And so i ended up with baked mac n cheese which is awesome yet small (3.99), classic gyro with feta yummy and decent (7.99 + .50), and a beer (?), which was came to $17 something. All and all my taste buds was satisfied! :) Good place for a friendly outing or causal date! Family friendly too! You won't be disappointed! :)

Fun place, very family friendly. I like that the kitchen is open and you can watch them cook your food. Burgers are good. Philly cheese steak sandwich is awesome. Sweet potato fris are good. Seasoned fris are also good. My friend liked thier puteen. The serve a couple beers and I think they have a wine too. Great location right off 35w. I believe there is also a Burnsville location.

My wife and I were looking for some dinner and I have passed by this place a hundred times and always wanted to try it. I wanted a beer too, but all they had were bottles, so boo. I ordered a chicken Philly and we sat down to wait and chat with a water. After about 5 minutes, they brought over the sandwich. The bread was super dense and fresh and perfect. I ordered it with Cheez Whiz. The chicken was super juicy and the veggies were simmered and spiced wo as to meld with the finely chopped poultry. It was REALLY good. As good as, if not better than the Weinery on the West Bank of U of M. The decor was kind of cool, diner like and it is counter service, so you can save on the tip. Great food and great company. Loved it!

Very good spot for a quick lunch. Order at the counter from a number of options from burgers, sandwiches, gyros, dogs, etc... Wife had a wrap and I had a grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole and pepper jack cheese. Also split a salad and sweet potato fries. Everything we tried was good and look forward to going back again.

I had a polish, Mac & cheese and caesar salad - yes I was quite hungry - and all highly recommended by chef Tim. Besides the brownish lettuce, all was quite tasty and reasonably prices. I would actually give it a 3 1/2 stars.

We were excited to see Streetz open in our area. Good burgers and hand cut fries. The Philly steak and Cheese was flavorful. My son loved the homemade Mac and Cheese topped with Sausage.. Fun atmosphere... Kid friendly in the early evening.

After eating here again, I'm willing to accept that they had some hiccups as far as food goes when they first started. The food we ordered was much better, especially the delectable waffle sweet potato fries. Unlike other reviewers, Streetz had not been very busy either of the times I have patronized it. However, I would agree that the line ordering and number delivery systems are inefficient. As for the future of Streetz, I guess we'll wait and see if it continues to step up or if the building shuts down for another few years.

Excited to get some more Chicago style food in the area. Just dined at Streetz with my wife. We had the Chicago dog - excellent. Gyros - very good. Generous portion, not served on your standard pita, but a thinner almost tortilla bread. Very good - gyros meat could have been a little spicier (I don't think it is Kronos). Philly Cheesesteak - again big portion, well made, bun just OK. Fries - very good, hot, fresh, but not earth shattering. Will go back for sure. Nice clean open place. Wish they had Italian beef.

Just went here for lunch for the first time. My Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was very good -- probably the best I've had in the southern suburbs. They didn't use salty pre-sliced deli meat like many other places do ... they fry up rib eye steak, cut it up thin and put a decent amount inside the sandwich. They also put a good amount of onions, mushrooms and green peppers in, and serve it on a soft, fresh hoagie type bun. I'm not a big eater, so I'll get two meals out of the sandwich. My wife had the gyro salad, and liked it, saying the ingredients were very fresh and it was quite large (she'll get at least two meals out of it). She didn't care for the greek dressing, though, and she went up to the counter and got a side of Italian dressing and liked the salad much better with that on. Service was courteous and quick, but it wasn't busy at all ... nobody in line. There were people at about 10 tables at 1:00 p.m. on a Monday, and it was super loud in there, making it difficult to hear the person sitting next to or across from you. They should add some sound dampeners in there and add some dividers between tables to add a bit to the warehouse style ambience. Considering the large serving sizes, prices are very reasonable. We'll be back. I want to try the chicken cheesesteak next time.

I had the Gyro and the Poutine Fries. I will start with the gyro; meet should be seared and thinly sliced. Instead the meat was pale in color and in chunks. The pita was a pita but it was the best part. The Poutine; the fries were cold, gravy was salty, with a few cheese curd crumbles. Poutine should be served piping hot, as in you have to have to blow on it to cool it down!

Second meal here. Had my first gyro in years--very good. Glad I added feta. Sweet potato fries are top notch. Very flavorful. The food was served fresh and hot in about 7 minutes, the staff cares about your experience and the ambience is urban-cool. Street food in Bloomington! Love it!

A great new place to grab a bite to eat in Bloomington. Chicago style food. Atmosphere is good. They really seem to want to make a good impression as the new restaurant in town. I had the gyro and fries and it was great. Next time I will try a Chicago dog or burger. I hear they are great too.

It's been a long weekend of attempting to eat every single meal out of the house. We saved Streetz American Grill for last because it is near our home. The interior is fine, plenty of elbow room. Easy access from 35w and 98th street. We admitted to not having ordered there before and the service provider politely admitted it was all good! I know my Philly Cheese Steaks so I ordered it with provolone cheese. It was very good, the steak was tender, the onions perfect. My son had the Cheddar Head, he is THE authority on burgers, and he gave it a "really good". This kid had done every burger in town.. Fries tasted "real". Shake was good with a surprise sugar cookie. The owner personally greeted us and made us feel welcome. Good beer selection but how about tap beers to go with this terrific food?
