My family and I took my niece to the Mall of America after picking her up from the airport. After a few hours of shopping, we decided we didn't feel like cooking and planned to eat at the mall. The food was what I expected for a chain--unoriginal and lacking freshness (instant potatoes), but altogether edible. I ordered the Chicken Bella, which was a chicken breast with mushrooms and cream sauce, and my two side choices were potatoes and broccoli. It wasn't disappointing, but I certainly wasn't "wowed". We all ordered beers, and they were harassed relentlessly by fruit flies. I ended up using my napkin to cover the top of my glass. Bottom line: This is somewhere that I'd rather not visit again, but I wouldn't starve myself if it was my only option.

Petite Sirloin cooked perfectly rare. Seasoned like my mama's greens. A loaded baked potato with real bacon. Salad bar with chilled items. Not sitting in ice; actually in a chilled environment which was even a little chilly to put my hand in to get my items. Lots of fresh choices, and yummy rye croutons. Pasta salads and soy beans. All sorts of good stuff. This dinner was fit for a duchess. Not a spoiled princess or an entitled queen, but a hard working, traveling duchess. This was not my first choice, in the mall of america, but I'm glad I went. They also have a $5 HH with flavored vodkas and appetizers. If ya gotta eat at a chain, here's my endorsement. The bartender was outstanding. I wish I could take him home as my personal bartender at the Smart Villa.

I'm not usually one to go for writing reviews on chains, but this location has a distinctively different air than any of the other Twin Cities locations I've been to. The Ruby Tuesday at MOA is a veritable oasis from the hustle and bustle of tourists and teenagers crowding the halls. The lighting is wonderfully dim and the atmosphere relaxed but with a slightly classier than casual dining ambiance. Any time I've been to this location, the wait staff has been professional and attentive. My last visit was especially wonderful, when my waitress Nataly made sure to acknowledge my birthday without gathering the wait staff to sing an off key version of the time old "Happy Birthday" (this place is better than that). She offered a free dessert and made pleasant conversation without making it feel forced because of her role. I highly recommend coming to this location if you're at the Mall and are in desperate need of forgetting!

We went there on Sunday because we had a handful of kids and it looked pretty empty. Well I know why. The place reeked of disgusting mop water. The entire restaurant was disgusting. The seats were all torn, the silverware had chunks of food on it. Somehow the food ended up not completely sucking. It was your typical chain restaurant fare and it all came out as advertised. The food in itself was not that disappointing but for sanitary reasons alone I will never set foot back in this restaurant.

Wow what a horrible experience. Came here for dinner on new years eve. Our server was inattentive and ignored us most of the time. Water glasses were empty most of the evening. It shouldn't matter if I'm paying for a drink or just drinking water! The kitchen was out of an item but we were not notified. I over her telling someone else and asked if I needed to make a switch for my order. Refills were not brought out until asked. We didn't get our bread until we asked at the end of our meal. So that is the service. The food was nearly as bad. Everyone's entre was over cooked and dry. This was not what we experienced at the southdale location. We will not be returning to this location ever again.

The chain restaurants aren't my first choice for dining, but hey...a girl's gotta eat! I REALLY like their salad bar, which is almost always what I eat here. MOA, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove, Oak Park Heights...the same quality. I know what to expect here. OK, I have tried a couple bites of their burgers (I like to share at dinner) and have to say darn good too. Service is always friendly, they always seem to try hard to please!

Girlfriend and I walked out after about 10 minutes of sitting at our booth where not one server had stopping by to say, "hello" or take a drink order. We figured the service was not going to get any better.

Friendly service late on a weeknight adds a star to above average chain restaurant fare.

Delicious strawberry lemonade with real strawberries, yum! Also they had a pretty fresh salad bar with good variety, and decent slider burgers. The wait on the weekend before xmas was surprisingly short and efficient.

Exciting, my first one star review!! TIME TO BE BRUTAL. No need for detail about the food, it was what you'd expect from Ruby Tuesday. Major mishaps with the service though, made less excusable by the fact that there was barely anyone else there in the restaurant. Two wrong orders brought out, and a third one botched - my dad's on a no salt diet, requested no salt on anything and out came the salty broccoli. Oops. They brought out my new dish, and things seem fine. Then on my third bite of broccoli, CRUNCH. Umm what? And I pull this clear hard oblong thing out of my mouth...I think it might have been a piece of glass, thankfully it wasn't jagged. Definitely wasn't ice and it was too hard for plastic. yikes, big time.

Good selection of burgers and a higher alternative to your fast food chain. Along the lines of TGIF or Chillis. After getting out of the airport around 11pm there's not much selection in suburbia so the BBQ Bacon Buffalo Burger here saved my night.

I went here with someone on friday. I ordered the mini burger combination ( came with fries and salad bar). Mom ordered the pimento cheese sandwich combination( fries and salad bar) The burgers were not that good at all, my mom agree with her sandwiches as well. The portions at this location are pretty small as well. They give you maybe a handful of fries , two mini burgers. The salad bar was good though I will give them credit on that. However I would go to the southdale location and avoid the mini burgers/sandwiches. Service was alright here

It was my first time eating at a Ruby Tuesday. The TV commercials look good, and the food didn't disappoint at all. Baked Chicken Parmesan Pasta -- wow! Service was good. Atmosphere was good, but a bit loud for my tastes. That's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Salad bar was good, but could have been better. No Cesar dressing and only one fruit, grapes. There wasn't potato salad either. Server was excellent. She noticed when I was low on my drink and brought me a refill immediately. Once in the restaurant, you feel away from the mall, which is nice.

Ordered up the 12oz Ribeye staek. Seasoned just right and cooked to order a perfect medium rare, the steaks come with two sides or 1 side plus Ruby's typically very good salad bar. I opted for the salad bar and a side of grilled zucchini. No complaints and perfectly satisfied. The Happy Hours here are rather good and worth checking out.

Had lunch here during a school shopping marathon at MOA. We ordered a couple appetizers that wasn't bad and brought out in a timely manner. Our waitress was nice and kept our drinks filled. I give the one star only because of her and the appetizers. I ordered a ribye with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. I also asked for some mushrooms on top of the med rare steak. When I received my food I noticed that the steak was very thin like someone had pressed it out to make it seem bigger. There were barely any mushrooms on top and the steak was well done. The mashed potatoes were so dry they had to of been sitting under a heat lamp all day. The green beans were blah also. The worst thing is that I found a hair in my mushrooms and it was a short hair like it was from someone's pubic area. After finding this I stopped eating and spit whatever I had left on my plate. I wanted to make a scene but decided there was nothing to gain and it wasn't our nice waitress's fault so we paid our bill, gave her a tip and left.

I'm almost embarrassed that I have an opinion about Ruby Tuesday, but I was on a shopping spree with my friend at MoA and we worked up quite the appetite! Ruby Tuesday was convenient, so we gave it a go. The staff was great and the restaurant is clean. The food was standard - you could likely expect the same meals at any mid-range restaurant anywhere. However, I did enjoy the blackened tilapia and the wine. But mostly the wine.

The options at Mall of America are limited. Let's be honest, I went here because I needed WiFi and the food court wouldn't cut it. The salad bar was a barren wasteland that they kept upselling. I tried to order something lean and came up with the herb-crusted tilapia with grilled zucchini and mashed. I'm writing this as I eat powdered mashed potatoes and frozen fish that is saturated in butter and salt. An eraser would taste pretty good with this amount of seasoning. One star for free Internet, one star for a table and chair!

Couldn't find a better sense of community at a restaurant if I tried. My buddy and I always come and sit at the bar and just chat it up with the staff. I never expect service higher than the bare minimum but they always go above and beyond. Even to the extent that we get greeted BY NAME when we come in. Given the fact that we are regulars but there's a reason we keep coming back. Everyone's super friendly and fun and the food is better than you would generally expect from a Applebee's or TGI Friday's type restaurant. Can't say enough good about this place. If you want decently priced food and great company when you're at MOA definitely come to ruby

Its been about 10 years since I last dined at a Ruby Tuesday. 10 years ago and I still remember how underwhelmed I was back then. It caused me to blow these guys off as another Applebee-like chain and I had no need to go back there. Well, fast forward to yesterday and my gf comes over and declares we're going to the MOA location. I had two choices, come along unwillingly, or willingly. I tried to argue, immediately lost, and went along unwillingly. They revamped since I last went, not surprising considering the long interval. But it was actually decent...nice fresh looking salad bar. Four different types of lettuce. We both got a special they've been running on tv, petite sirloin and lobster tail for 15 clams. Steaks were good, lob tails were good, salad was good. Service was friendly and attentive. I have nothing to complain about! I'd come back again, next time willingly. I really hate chain restaurants so thats a big compliment in my eyes.

Chain food that really not very good. Ate at the one in the Mall of America in Minneapolis and was totally disappointed.

It was late, joints were closing @ MOA and the salad bar pulled me in. This place is milk toast , Perkins with liquor license but we had an unbelievable server who I'd love to recruit and hire where I work. I believe his name was Daniel.

Horrible food...horrible service. Ordered a child's steak and side of fruit off the kids menu for one of the kids and they sent us a burger patty and warm grapes on a plate. Uhhh...last time a checked...a burger patty is not a steak!! And up what the heck was up with the warm grapes? Gross.. There were also flies flying around everywhere. The food was also horrible and cold. And the waitress didn't give a rats arse if we needed refills or about our feedback. Don't waste your money and time. Applebee's or TGI Friday's are way better choices.

This was my 4th Ruby Tuesday chain that i visited and I'm disappointed with the service. I ordered a medium cooked Black Fire New York Strip with Mashed Potato + Fries and wife went for Coastal Trio with Fries +Salad. Her dish was fine but my steak was rarely cooked. So had to ask to make it medium. Our fries were not at all crispy. I would choose McDonald's $1 fries over that.

Having spent a lot of time at the MoA over the years, I've eaten at this Ruby Tuesday a lot. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. Some of the booths are a little cramped, and the tables are pretty close together, but they also have a lot of traffic, so it's understandable. At peak times there's a bit of a wait, but it's never too long. The food is typical Ruby Tuesday - better than your average chain restaurant, and the salad bar is pretty great. It's also surprisingly quiet; the hubbub of the mall outside is not noticeable.

My husband and I took our niece and nephew to MOA for a fun day during this snowy Spring instead of trudging through late April snow. We went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch. Long wait, but that's MOA on a Saturday. Our server was Nick. Let me start by saying, those 4 stars are mostly for Nick. Nick was the most attentive, fun and interactive server I have had the privilege of tipping in quite a while. Nick remember our names throughout the entire meal, laughed and joked with the kids and even got them to eat their food! He's a star in the Ruby Tuesday staff. Keep him and you'll keep our business. I had the salad bar and was less than thrilled with the state of the spread. A lot of wilted and tired food was displayed instead of hearty and fresh options. All-you-can-eat French Fries = dangerous! We never knew entree menu options included as many fries as you can stomach! Kids menu options were healthy and offered a good variety.
