Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

So, I got a po' boy. It was amazing!!! That bread tho'. Holy cow, it was delicious. Now, there were so many shrimp in the sandwich it was hard to eat. The shrimp were delicious just hard to eat as a whole sandwich. I fork and knifed it. The fries were great. My son got the chicken fingers. Those were good, the fries were great, the 'fruit' promised was one slice of orange, and the surprise was blue raspberry jello. That was a nice touch, but he did not care about that. The kids serving boat was cute and would entice many kids. Food was great, the customer service was average. They acted super annoyed with a child at the table, maybe she saw $$$$, but still annoying. I'd go back if I was in town, as the food was really good, but I'll just know not to expect doting service.

I really enjoyed our visit here. The kids loved the shrimp character walking around. I ordered the Run across America appetizer and I thought everything was good on it. I really liked the dip and the chicken bites. The kids got popcorn shrimp meals. They came in little boats. It was really fun for the kids and they really liked the popcorn shrimp. A funny thing happened. My husband ordered New England Clam Chowder. He was eating his bowl of soup and made a comment about how spicy it was. He had me try it (I don't eat chowder) and I thought it tasted like dressing. He kept eating it and then he offered our daughter a bite of spicy sausage. She said no thank you but she would like some of the rice. A red flag went up in my brain that said "Clam Chowder is not spicy, does not have rice or sausage nor should it taste like dressing"!! They gave him Gumbo. He ate the whole bowl before we realized it! They offered to take if off the bill but he said no he ate it anyway. Too funny!

I've never been to one of these restaurants & really hadn't heard anything about them over the years, but they were nearby when we were hungry & I'm always hungry for seafood. After this experience, I won't be back. It's not bad, per se, but this is the epitome of a chain sea food restaurant. The non-inspired service and presentation is a manner to maximize the chain-like presentation to hide the minimum of food seems to be the goal. Don't go hear hungry or with the expectation for something exceptional. This ain't that place.

Had the Shrimp Feast and steamed crablegs. Both were great! Service was fun and fast. Lemonaid was good, and we got to keep the glasses! Overall good place for dinner or lunch!

Let me preface this review by saying I do not like shrimp and BGSCo was not my dinner choice. My parents however love shrimp and this place so that is where we went. I was here in May with my mom and recently in November with both of my parents. Both times I ordered the chicken caesar salad, but it was different each time. I think they downsized it recently because it was a lot bigger the first time and came with pieces of cheesy toasted bread. I enjoyed it more the first time so I would've given BGSCo 4 stars, but I'm just getting to review it now, so 3 stars it is. My parents enjoyed both of their choices so its a good spot for shrimp lovers. Just not for me.

Simply Awesome! Virtually no wait on a Sunday, the decor was very fun. Between my girlfriend and I we ordered the Shrimp heaven and the Shrimp Mac and cheese. Both were awesome! I loved the Coconut shrimp. Overall a good experience!

Great food and great service the manager is super nice and they kept topping off our drinks like every minute.

We found this place very amusing-I mean who doesn't know Forrest Gump...They have this catchy way of hailing any waitress/waiter with a "Run Forest Run"(not ready to order) or " Stop Forrest Stop"(if you need something)! So many choices but definitely your here for some seafood!

The food, the people, the atmosphere, all amazing. I love that they brought this place to life even if it was born from a fictional movie. The food was wonderful. Even though I couldn't eat it all, sadly. We came here for lunch, planning on eatting light so we could go to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. By the time we left, we over ate so much that we didn't eat for the rest of the night. It was crazy, and wonderful all at once. The lady at the front, I regret not asking her name, talked to us, and essentially kept us engaged until someone came to seat us. Once seated, our waitress was very prompt, and explained the "Run Forrest Run" and "Stop Forrest Stop" signs to us. And, I must say I find those signs to be so cute and wonderful. The only reason I give it 4 outta 5 is the price. I get that this isn't on the coast, so sea food is going to be a bit more expensive, but if I had been truly hungry when I went in there, I'm not one hundred percent convinced I would have left full. Regardless, the food is amazing, and if you have the extra cash, go. It's still worth it.

Now I've been to this place in Charleston before and it was really good. I went with my coworker and feel bad cuz my dude has never been and I told him all about it, so of course he was jealous. This is not a 5 star restaurant but the ambience, food, and drinks are decent. At first I thought the customer service was going to be off because the lady at the stand carried on her conversation when we're standing there and when we went in, it seemed like dude didn't want to seat us. I'm thinking, "oh boy is the beginning of bad service and a meal?" Totally the opposite. I got the fish sandwich with fries and it was pretty good. I also got some alcoholic blueberry/strawberry concoction and asked for the Pilsner glass instead so I could get one as a souvenir and the waitress obliged. The best part honestly... As it was my first time in Minnesota, I was dying to hear a Minnesota accent and the server delivered. Awesome!!! She even quizzed us with Forrest Gump questions, which of course all of them I got right. Again not the classiest restaurant but the food and drink was decent and the Minnesota-tah accent was worth it.

First time eating here. I absolutely loved it! Our server gave us so much attention!! (even with a full house) We didn't feel rushed to finish our food. He was super sweet and made conversation with us. We ordered fried shrimp and it tasted amazing!! I also ordered Sirloin and it was cooked perfectly! The food was super delicious! I would absolutely come here again!

Gotta love this place. That down-south feel right here at MOA. Got me a bucket o' seafood including lobster claw, shrimp, clams, crab legs, and mussels swimmin' in butter and herbs. Didn't burn a hole in the wallet either. One of the best places to eat at the mall. It gets busy so get there early.

  • Al B.

Had a "Bucket of Boat Trash" substituted grilled for fried shrimp and it was definitely well worth the price. Shout out to the bartenders for the recommendation.

Hey now it's bubba Gump's place. Pretty generic theme restaurant. There was Forrest Gump playing on the tvs and a ton of shrimp to eat. I enjoyed a heaping helping of Lt Dan's Drunken shrimp and some garlic bread. Plus some type of summer wheat ale. The beer was actually fantastic and why I have 4 stars. Unfortunately I can't remember what it's name was as I had too any of them. Though obviously I remember the shrimp (mostly cause it's named LT DAN!) Anyways if your in the mall this place is as good as any.

HH is good here! The food is delicious.. don't know if they don't like people who come for HH or what...but it was a weird start...but it was fine after. My margarita was good...i bought the souvenir shaker that came with it. Decent bang for your buck! I love HH as we don't have it here in boston unfortunately...

The place was very busy, so we weren't surprised or disappointed at the wait for our food. The server was friendly and would come over periodically to check on us and throw out a Forrest Gump trivia question. After about 3 questions, and him not being able to stump us, I decided to ask one of my own "How can a place be all about the movie Forrest Gump, but not serve Dr. Pepper?" He didn't have an answer, which I felt deserved a plaque with my name on it, or at least a free appetizer... Turns out it only earns you a blank stare. Oh yeah, the food was mediocre. I'd go somewhere else next time

Let me just say my expectations were not high for this place. It even with that being said it was bad... Like real bad... First there was no on in the restaurant and we had to wait 20 min for a table. I think there was a miss communication on who was serving us because it took another 10 to get our drink order, I will say once our drinks got ordered our server was super sweet and attentive, even quizzed us on Forrest Gump trivia which I killed! ..lol. Anyway back to the food. We all had a verbatim of shrimp dishes and I am not sure what happen but the shrimp were tiny like 25-30 size, salad, size shrimp tiny. The garlic sauce that was on my boiled shrimp was good but they were over cooked. All in all I will not return, or maybe I will in the summer, in a different are where seafood is more plentiful. Sorry Forrest you missed the boat on this one!

The Worst! I can't believe anybody could write a good review about this place. I started off with the Bubba's Far Out Dip. It consisted of a bowl of mush, that had a layer of oil on top. I had to stir it, to get the oil mixed into the dip,,,,yuck!. It was completely tasteless. Only ate about a 1/4 of it. I had Mama's Southern Fried Chicken. Once again everything was bland, pre-prepared food, that had a huge sodium content. It was so salty, I couldn't finish it. My son had the Ribs, and they looked appealing, but he said there was very little meat on them, and the meat was super tough. Definitely NOT fall off the bone kinda Ribs. It was the first and LAST time I will ever eat at a Bubba Gump. The only reason I'm giving it 1 Star, is because they play Forrest Gump on a continuous loop on the TV's(I love that movie), and for the fact, I bought a moderately priced T-Shirt in the gift shop.

This place was great! Better than I expected actually...I know it's a franchise people but that doesn't mean it's not good. Service was great, the waitress was attentive and got all our orders out on time. The foods was delicious especially the hush puppies (they were very addictive). I also liked the Forrest Gump theme around the restaurant it really makes you want to watch the movie again. Overall very good experience.

  • Bill H.

A complete theme restaurant/tourist trap. Food is good, but it's owned by Landry's, so be prepared for a hard sell on the "select points club" and the cocktails are very expensive (don't forget to take your glass home, that's why you pay $12 for a beer). Despite that crap, it's actually pretty decent seafood. Service is also very good.

Been their three times in the last year. The first time with the new experience brought us back. This last time will be our last. Deep fried foods with no flavors unless you douse it in hot sauce or Tartar.

OVERPRICED. Not my choice of a place to eat but this is what was chosen so I will go. $36 for two people and all I ordered was water. $20 for some sampler plater with barely any food and it was all very bland. $15 for some beergarita that they trick you into by not posting the price and you're buying some cheep overpriced shaker that you don't want or need. Atmosphere is fun and cute service was good but heck no on the food or prices. WILL NEVER RETURN and I live very close to the mall.

  • Dan R.

Great food! Had the seafood feast. Came displayed rather cheezy looking, in cones and sitting up off the plate. BUT the food itself was very tasty. Obviously with these gimicky type restaurants, the prices are inflated and so expect to pay. Cusyomer service was decent and place was clean. +1 Good food +1 Fun environment +1 Good customer service +1 Clean -1 Very pricey for what you get. Especially the watered down drinks.

  • Michelle K.

I've been here a couple times now and it just isn't the dining experience I prefer. It's kind of chaotic in here and for the price of the food, you just don't get your money's worth..

I have been actively avoiding all Bubba Gump locations for a very long time now. After trying it out on my very last vacation, I am sorry I have been avoiding it that long. We actually went twice on our last trip. Once I went a healthier route and ordered grilled fish and the next time when we brought the rest of the family I went with shrimp. Both times the y knocked it out of the park: with the food, freindly service and fun atmosphere. It is a bit more pricey than I am used to spending on a regular meal out, It will work from time to time visits! They did a great job and really won me over!

I use to love this place. I haven't been here in like 4 years, so to my surprise, I came here last night and was deeply disappointed. The food has gone downhill. The service is still good, and the stop and go signs they have are pretty ingenious. We had a shrimp cocktail and the Louisiana Shrimp. Both were overpriced and not that great. Maybe my horizons have broadened since then, but I have to admit, it was a major let down. Avoid their overpriced drinks.

As an avid Forrest Gump fan, I may have coerced my sister into eating here. I was expecting a mediocre meal with gimmicky decorations and obscure movie references. I wasn't disappointed. Fans of the movie will notice details in the restaurant theme. Happy face license plates, buckets of deep fried shrimp, cocoon the restaurant in Gump's world. As an added bonus, if you pay for a fancy drink, they let you keep the Bubba Gump glass as a souvenir. The waitress provided very quick and thoughtful service. The food arrived quickly and exceeded expectations. Sure it's not the classiest place to eat, but it's one of the most fun. Ordered: steamed shellfish dish, shrimp po boy, mango lemonade. The steamed shellfish was reasonable priced and gave generous portions. It was definitely worth it's price, (23$ at market price). The po boy was crisp and fresh, though bland, not a recommended item. Try this place for the atmosphere and fried fare. Do not eat here if you are on a diet!

"Run, Forest, run!" "Stop, Forest, stop!" Those are the weird license-plate looking signs you flip to get your server. Stop meaning stop at my table. Run meaning keep going. ANYWAY. A friend from Japan was visiting, and during our 5.5 hour mall shopping trip, wanted to get a bite to eat. "Masu?" "No." "Crave?" "No." "Ahhh....Bubba Gump Shrimp Co (lol)?" "YES!" So, I found myself at "that Forest Gump restaurant". By the way, did you know that the company that owns Bubba Gump Shrimp Co and Rainforest Cafe, Landry's, also owns McCormick & Schmick's, Morton's Steakhouse, and The Oceanaire? Now you do. Truthfully, and perhaps surprisingly, our experience wasn't actually that bad! The alcoholic beverages were almost undrinkable due to the insane sweetness, but that was to be expected. My Japanese friend got to keep his "redneck wine glass". Great American souvenir! We split an order of the Shrimper's Net Catch (peel 'n eat shrimp steamed in beer), shrimp mac and cheese, and seafood hush puppies. The mac and cheese was sorta "meh", but the peel 'n eat shrimp and hush puppies were pretty good! I feel sort of weird admitting that, but yeah! They were tasty! My mind wasn't blown by their flavor or anything, but I was and still am pretty surprised. And trust me, I was maybe more than a just little nervous about the future state of my digestion system when our shrimp basket arrived. Will I go back again? Probably not. But, I won't be judging it so harshly. It is definitely something that I can cross off on my unintentional bucket list.

i was in the MOA and wanted to try this place i got the cajun shrimp with the veggies(corn on the cob, potato, carrot and celery). the shrimp was fine, i didnt care for the veggies much service was good overall no complaints, glad i tried but was not 'wowed'

My roommate and I were having a girls shopping day and decided to try something new. I LOVE seafood and my roommate hates it but we decided to each pick a restaurant. We went around 6ish on a Sunday and were seated right away. The waitress was nice and explained the whole "Run Forest Run" thing (trust me, it makes sense once you go), even did some trivia at our table. I have an allergy to certain drinks and the waitress really listened and she made sure what I wanted wouldn't make me sick. My roommate ordered a bbq burger and has stated "they make a good burger" which she rarely says. I had the Forrest Seafood Feast which was good. Wish I could have had a little more shrimp then four. But I liked how the fish were smaller and easy to eat. The only complaint I really had was when we went to leave we had to go to the gift shop and get our glasses. The cashier seemed to be way to pre occupied and was paying more attention outside. She was talking to us but wasn't really there or answering us back. Other than that it was great and I'll totally be back.

Service A+ Our server was great. Food was ok. I ordered the calamari which was really salty. It was mixed in with fried pepperocini and red peppers. It had a strange spice to it. I love calamari, but this had a different taste and was really salty. The dipping sauce was pretty tasty. Also had a cup of clam chowder which was meh. Kind of runny and not the thick hearty chunky kind. My dad and nephew ordered the fish and chips which looked the best out of everyone's meal. My mom ordered the fish sandwich which she said was ok. I don't think she cared for it. My other nephew ordered the shrimp mac n cheese which he said was the best he's ever had. So he liked his meal and my calamari. This was the best option at the mall for us given its Friday and no meat for us. Menu is fairly decent with an array of options.

"There's shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich". - Bubba, Forrest Gump That's the quote from the movie that started the restaurant. The restaurant doesn't live up to the name. In reality, there's deep-fried shrimp...and a couple of other things. Well, when in Rome, right? I didn't get this slim & sleek physique by avoiding fried food. We started out with the fried calamari, which was good. It's easy to make calamari rubbery, and that didn't happen, though it was a bit under-seasoned. Linda had the chipotle-crusted mahi mahi, which was good. I had the seafood feast for my main course, and that totally didn't suck. The seafood feast is fried fish, fried shrimp, fried hushpuppies, and french fries. The fish was super flaky and really good. The hushpuppies won't make it back to my plate. They were boring to eat. I prefer my food to have its own flavor. If you've got to depend on a dipping sauce to make something taste good, you need to revisit your menu. All in all, it was good, but not out-of-this-world good.

I was VERY pleased with this restaurant. I would highly suggest getting a reservation before you eat. We did wait about 45 minutes before there was a table available. The wait was well worth it though! The person I went with is from Norway and he ordered jambalaya and said it was very good. That's saying a lot since he hasn't enjoyed a lot of the food from America. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and it was excellent! Service was great too. 5 stars!

This was my first time eating at Bubba Gump's.... Seen the movie a hundred times, just never had the opportunity to eat here... Anyway, I started with the shrimp Mac & cheese... OMGosh!!! YUMMMMM!!! The little skillet it comes is plenty... but its soooooo good, I wish it was a full size skillet!!! For my entree, I had the Shrimper's Heaven.... appropriately names!! shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp... cooked 4 different ways... Sooooo much food!!! But oh soooo good!!! My server was outstanding... super friendly!! They also have a full bar, as well as a gift shop... Yes, you can even get your 'Run Forest, Run" license plates for the front of your car there!! Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely be back!!

Went here when visiting the mall of america. The restaurant is very unique, the waitress and waiters are very friendly, and the seafood is wonderful. I especially loved the Forest Gump trivia after the meal.

  • Karyn P.

The server was very friendly but did try to sell us on buying some membership. The food was good nothing out of this world. Really liked the peel and eat shrimp with cajun spice. The fried fish was also very good. I went cause I had a gift card for 50 bucks. All in all good but there are better places in mall of America to eat.

  • Aaron C.

This establishment exceeded my expectations. There are so many places to eat at the MOA, and we decided to test the waters at Bubba's. The food and service was great. The Far Out Dip with Shrimp was bursting with flavor and was tasty! As an entree, I had the Net Catcher, with Garlic. I apologize, I'm not a spicy type of person. I debated on a ranking of four stars, only due to the cost. An appetizer, lemonade, and entree was roughly $40.

    (4)
  • Miranda W.

I'm giving this 3*'s because the service was good. They have a "Run Forest Run, or Stop Forest Stop" feature but I never had to use it. My waiter always made sure my drinks were refilled and asked if we needed anything. The food however is what cost the other two stars. While it was good, it definitely wasn't worth anywhere close to the price they were charging. The fried shrimp batter tasted almost like pure flour. I'd probably go back but for the experience and not the food.

  • Hasnat A.

This place from the outside looks nice. But from the inside it's pretty shitty with shitty people. I sat at the bar hoping to get good/fast service. Considering that I was one of two people that who was sitting at the bar and secondly considering the fact the other customer already was served his dinner/drinks; I wasn't even acknowledged for a good 10-15 minutes. Using my observational skills I was able to deduce that the bartender wasn't even that busy -- just wiping down washed glasses. Anyways finally I was given the menu and then left alone for another 15 mins. Clearly this person didn't want to serve me and I hadn't even done anything to give them a reason to. Then their recommendation was just so awful I wanted to regurgitate everything. Of course the food took a long ass time to arrive as well. Anyways all in all I was extremely disappointed with the horrible service, horrible food, and overall horrible experience.

  • Kevin S.

We ate there last night. The food was excellent and the service was great; however, the amount of food served for the price was a disappointment. It cost $75 with the tip for three of us. Two of us drank water and there was no alcohol served.

  • Julie D.

Julie D. sees sunshine and light everywhere she goes. She is in love with the universe and wants to take time to enjoy every square inch, (well, maybe not every inch, but within reason). So, I don't really know quite how to put this. Julie D. does not like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. There, I said it. . The interior of the joint seemed fun and festive. The food was decent. But I thought the prices were incredibly ridiculous. I got a bucket of Peel'n'Eat Shrimp steamed in Secret Recipe Cajun Spice. They were very oily and very messy. But I guess that was the fun of eating them. BJ got a Shrimp Po' Boy. The menu said it was just like the ones in New Orleans... French Loaf stuffed with warm Popcorn Shrimp and served with fries. Unfortunately, there was not enough shrimp to begin to fill the roll. And it was devoid of any flavor. Now, this is going to sound really mean, but I got really sick of our server's obnoxious hick boy lingo. No restaurant should encourage their employees to talk like this. Also, our server frequently got lost. Another bone of contention with me was the drinks. No alcoholic beverage should be served in a glass with flashing lights. It's insulting to alcohol. This place is insulting to Forest. I'm just saying. I was annoyed by this place. In more ways than one.

Went to Bubba Gump on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with 4 adults and 4 children. The kids love that the kids meals are served in paper boats. I'm not a fan of the blue jello they serve, but I'm glad they include an orange slice. Perhaps veggies & dip might be a better accompaniment than fries? I ordered the stuffed shrimp with rice and wasn't impressed. This is my go-to dish at Bubba Gump and this time, the portion seemed smalled and it was all over cooked. Service is quick and responsive and the concept is cute, but this place is overpriced for what you get.

  • Randy T.

This place was just a delight... the food was fantastic and our server was top notch. We never once had to flip the licence plate to get help, because she was always there with a drink refill or whatever we needed. I would make this a five, but it's in a mall, and that takes some of the charm out of it... that's all!

    (4)
  • Bj H.

Food was awful...very greasy and more breading on fish than actual fish . French fries were from bottom of fryer batch as 4 were longer than 2 inches and over cooked and hard. Very busy waitress never came back between good delivery and check for refills on drinks. Husbands food was trio fish shrimp and hush puppies. Shrimp hard and over cooked and again good had more breading than seafood. Will not go back esp when this good cost $40... Def not worth the money

The food was way over-seasoned, probably their attempt to cover up the blah taste of seafood that's been frozen since the time of the dinosaurs.

I was just here the other day with my bf, his grandparents, and his mother. Anyways, I will start by saying that everyone I was with seemed to enjoy the food here and I certainly enjoyed my meals. I recently went vegetarian however so my options were severely limited in that regard. There was only one explicitly main meal on the menu (the mushroom burger) so obviously, that was what I got and I wound up being pleasantly surprised. It didn't taste at all like a meat burger but, it did taste very good and had this distinctive taste of mushrooms and seasonings that went very well with the toppings on it. The staff here was helpful as well and great for pointing out things that would be good for us to try. I think the restaurant is 5 stars for meat eaters but 2 stars for vegetarians as they have very little in that department. My 2 cents! Have fun!

  • Dan H.

The wife and I both had the shrimp Po' boys and after living in the Cajun south these were almost close. The shrimp was good but it wasn't gulf coast shrimp and the bread was way too hard. The "hot" sauce was watered down and I've had spicier chewing gum. The kids had fish and chips an a burger which were nothing to write home about but the kids didn't complain. If we had a seafood craving and we just happened to be standing in front of the place we may go in. The staff was nice an very attentive.

  • Fabrice B.

We started with our late lunch with the Cajun Shrimp. It was delicious with just the right amount of spice for my taste. I picked the Kentucky Bourbon Skewers for the entrée. I didn't regret it! The tangy Bourbon sauce nicely complemented the well-roasted shrimp and the unctuous mashed potatoes. I will definitely go back again.

Our names were taken at the front door and we were told to return in 15 min. due to the wait. We came back in 10 min. after going to the restroom only to find out that so many tables had cleared in the time we were gone that they skipped us on the list and started letting everyone in. By the time we got back there was a huge line out the door and we ended up having to wait an additional 15 min. behind people who put their names on the list after us. After waiting almost half an hour to be seated, we were sat at the very back of the restaurant near the kitchen where our view was obsured by a pole and dirty dishes were piling up near the cashier not feet away from where we were sitting. The food was good and our server was awesome however, the people at the front of the restaurant need customer service training and dirty dishes need to go to the kitchen.

Went to bubba gump's after 10 years and it was eh. The waitress forgot my drink, not once, but twice. I've never seen this happen and she made a comment that she'd pay for it, but I'm not sure if that's serious or the company paid for it. Not used to things like this happening. The food is ok, I tried the gumbo and the Jenny special. I liked the special, but the gumbo was ok. The kids had ice cream, but it was really hard. It was either extra cold or stale. I'm guessing stale. I'd go back, as most of this was just bad service. Then again it'll be another 10 years after this experience.

  • Brittany S.

I am not at all a seafood eater, but I came here with a group of seafood lovers. They all, of course, ordered shrimp and seemed fairly pleased. I ordered the chicken and was somewhat disappointed. It was soggy and kind of bland. The service my group received left me disappointed, too. It took forever to get drink refills! I have been to other locations and have had much better experiences, so I'm hoping that maybe this was just an off-day for this place! Will I be back? Probably. Will I be back SOON? Probably not.

It was ok. Our server was not very prompt and we had plates piles on our table for most of our time here that he never took away. I had a 20 dollar meal that was not worth what I paid for it but at least the atmosphere was really fun and enjoyable

Its painful for me to give a cheesy tourist chain stop a 5 but dang it, I am going to do it. The food was actually really good, the atmosphere was fun and the server was out of this world fantastic. Extremely attentive, played trivia with us, seemed to genuinely enjoy his job and people..If we had gotten some lame waiter or waitress would it have dropped to a 3..yes..it would...please forgive me

I don't usually hand out five stars for cheesy overpriced tourist stops, but we had a fabulous experience at Bubba Gumps! The fried shrimp was fabulous. The fries were perfect and my husband loved the electric lemonade. Our service was fantastic as well. Our server was very attentive and played Forest Gump trivia with us. Great time!!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, as I am a big fan of the movie this restaurant is named after. This was my first time eating at a Bubba Gumps and it was great. The service was top notch, our server recommended things for my wife who is a picky eater when it comes to seafood. We ordered the hush puppies as an app, and they were very tasty. I had the strawberry lemon freeze (because you get to keep the glass it comes in) and I was surprised to find actual strawberries in the drink. It too was delicious. Had the Shrimp Poboy for my meal and it was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had (I am from Louisiana though) but it was still good. My wife also enjoyed her meal. I would definitely go back!

First and last time there. I got the steamed shellfish, which was not cheap, and noticed that all of my clams were empty by the time I got to them. I dug around in the broth/pot, and did not see any. I alerted my waitress and she said sometimes they fall out and are at the bottom of the pot. Since this was not my first time eating clams, I know that is a passability. Once I finished my crab, I strained out all of the remaining broth and found no clams. I alerted the waitress against and didn't get so much as an apology or a reduction on the $23 plate. My wife got the gumbo and the shrimp was over cooked. Not worth the cost. Most of my crab was good but nothing to write home about.

Extremely overpriced bland seafood. Kitschy atmosphere. Good service though.

My best friend and I had a free preview to see Hall Pass (Awesome movie) and we decided to hit Bubba Gump's before the movie. We sat on the side facing the mall so we saw a lot of gawkers as they passed by, but they looked more envious than goofy. We both ordered a Diet Coke and pondered if this theme will be outdated after another 20 years, because it is already getting a little old after 20 years. Case in point, they still come by and ask the mandatory Forrest Gump questions, we answered them all correct, but it seems really forced and uncomfortable all around. Just going through the motions. I have been to multiple Bubba Gump's, the best being in Maui, right on the ocean and one of the only reasonably priced restaurants on Maui. (I love the Ma-hi Ma-hi sandwich) I ordered the Cobb salad with shrimp instead of chicken and my friend got a shrimp sampler entree. We got our food pretty quickly and the salad was huge, but a perfect dinner size. They had avocado sliced on it and bacon bits. I ordered blue cheese on the side and the chunks were there, so it was a perfect dressing for it. I really loved the salad, nice fresh lettuce with crispy bacon chunks. It was really good. The shrimp on the salad were perfect. Large and perfectly spiced. Our server refilled our drinks quickly and she was pretty nice. She seemed to be going through the motions, but she wasn't bad at all. My buddy's shrimp sampler looked awesome, for the price it better be. I think there was coconut shrimp, grilled, butterfly, and some other shrimp. Overall, the service was okay, the food was great, and we got out of there in 60 minutes. Lots of laughs and an overall good time. It was a little steep on the price and I could see a dinner going over $30 with booze, but at $16 for my salad and pop, I had a great time.

What? Only 1 review for this restaurant? Unbelievable!! We have been eating at here several times in the past 2 years. We love Old Fashioned New England Clam Chowder, Mama Blue's Shrimp Gumbo, Mama Blue's Shrimp Gumbo, Shrimper's Net Catch (1-1/3 pounds), Steamed Clams & Mussels,Calamari, . We hardly order any entrees because we love to share and above appetizers already good enough for 3 of us (with kid). Love this place but just one down side of it, they don't have any reservation system, so most of the time, we have to wait for long (sometime more than 1 hour).

I know it's franchise eating, however, it was good franchise eating and great service from all the folks their especially Chanel. Had a good time with all the references to the movie all around
