Just started ordering here recently. It's near my house which is a plus, but the parking lot is a huge pain to pull out of. Staff is polite, pleasant, and courteous. And... it's pizza. I'm not expecting anything spectacular in the first place, but as pizza goes, Hungry Howie's is better than most. and I have no reservations. I like the flavored crust options, something for everyone there. It's a franchise, so the company website won't necessarily match what deals they are offering, but it can be an inconvenient surprise if you're not expecting it. As mentioned above, the staff are quite helpful and courteous so it wasn't a huge deal.

This is the worst place ever to come to! I witnessed the owner push his employee and threaten to crack her head open! All over my pizza not being down in a timely matter! I will never return! This was horrible! The girl walked out crying and another employee walked out after her! All his employees stated he is rude! Not a good place at all!!!

Called in an order to this location. When I arrived they lost the order and did not seem to care-- so they just lost business. Went to Dominos on Grove rd. Much friendlier and professional. Won't go back to this Hungry Howies---dirty as well!

Worst pizza and Three Cheeser bread I've ever ordered. If you can even call it that, the food looked nothing like what most Hungry Howie's chains make. The pizzas here are made sloppily, and they don't even put seasoning on the Cheeser bread. It just looked bad all around, and didn't have the same taste. The ranch and marinara they charge you for is in a little plastic container, not the typical Howie's labeled kind. We just sent it back and ordered pizzas elswhere.

I order from here several times a week. It is quality pizza! Don't get confused the crap reviews, those people don't know what they're talking about. This place is really good at making really good pizza! Order from them, now! Do it!

This is my favorite "fast food" pizza in the area. The sauce and cheese has good flavor, the crusts are crispy and not chewy, and the ability to choose a crust flavor is a winner. Bundle all that up for $5.75 for a large one topping and you're good to go. Definitely worth the extra $.75 over Little Caesars. Tips: pick it up yourself (for the $3.50 delivery fee you're more than half way to another large pizza), pay cash to avoid the credit card surcharge, and don't try ordering for lunch because they're not open.

I was brought up in the world where you give the customer what they want, not what you think they need. Moreover, the customer is always right, especially when their complaints are easy to substantiate, and run afoul of basic company policies. However, at this store location for Hungry Howie's, neither of these concepts seem to matter that much. Over the past seven months, I have placed four orders from this location, and each time they managed to screw it up one way or another. The first was an order that I made last year in August when I was having a party with a few friends. I ordered a salad with no meat or mushrooms, as Kathy is a vegetarian with a distinct fungi allergy. Wouldn't you know it, the salad came with ham and mushrooms. I called manager back, and he said no problem a replacement salad would be brought out within 30 minutes. Well that half hour became 75 minutes, so I phoned the manager again, and he explained that the driver's vehicle had broken down. However, not to worry, another salad would be made and sent out within the next 20-30 minutes. As one would expect, it took 45 minutes for the driver to arrive, and when he did, we found salami in the salad! My poor friend was by now completely famished, and about to faint from a lack of nourishment. So Kathy just decided to remove the salami, and go for broke by devouring the salad. The second screw-up came at a friend's birthday party in September. We ordered three pizza's from Hungry Howie's, and two of them were made wrong, each containing toppings we didn't want or have a desire to eat. My friend called the manager up and bitched them out royally on the phone. Finally, two more pizzas were brought out within 45 minutes. My only complaint a this time, the crust on the two remade pizzas didn't have very much flavor at all. We specified "buttered cheese" and got plain dough. Truly terrible tasting pizza I ever had it. The third time, I placed an order for a pizza with mushrooms for myself, and they ended up putting copious amounts of anchovies on it instead. Thankfully, I ordered a two-litter bottle of Pepsi as I was so thirsty afterwards I could have drank Lake Erie dry. You would think that the staff at this place would know the difference between anchovies and mushrooms? My most recent order a few weeks ago was a total disaster. I ordered a Turkey Club sub, and when it arrived there was no bacon or ham included. I called the store back, and the lady apologized that they had ran out of these two items two hours earlier in the evening. I just about exploded on her over the phone, demanding to know why I wasn't told about this this when I placed my order. She said that the person who took my order must have made a mistake, and she was sorry about it. The bottom line is that this store needs to get their act together BIG TIME. Its one thing to make an occasional mistake when placing orders at high volume establishments like this, where all of the transactions involve either deliveries or pickups. However, in the case of this store, the employees must be very incompetent or living in a another dimension. From now on, I will take my business elsewhere.

Whatever you do, do not look at the menu on the internet and then call and place an order with this location. This location does not go by the interent menu. They have an in store menu that is used! WTF???? The pizza was so salty to the point of almost not edible. Never again. Enough said!
