30 bux for breakfast. I don't think so. Like idiots we got the breakfast buffet. OVER PRICED. 10 bux a person. I just about croaked when I saw bill. Thought I was at Bob Evans. Cuz food tasted the same-CRAPPY. We will not return. 2.50 for a cup a coffee. It costs them 50 cents. Here's a tip. Don't eat there.

S.L.O.W is there motto. Omg, can I get something to drink? Savior every drop because you won't get a refill ever. Our waitress was so lazy she made us hand her our coffee cups over the table for the refill I never though was coming and only after I ask 3 times for it. 8 tables with guests at least 5 waitresses running around.

It's the typical bigboy restraunt, went here for desert last night and got great sundaes, we had a great waitress, which lately isnt easy to find.

While the charming hipster cook with the epic mustache was a bright spot, I would say you're going to want to avoid this place unless you have a cast-iron colon. Everything in this location is filthy. There are large, weird stains on the upholstery, sticky grease-film on the tables and salt shakers. the ladies room smells like a men's room. In a word: gross. My post-dining experience isn't fit to discuss, but draw your own conclusions. Despite all of the warning-bells, I was hungry. We ordered biscuits/gravy an omelet, and a side of pancakes. The biscuits were gummy and the gravy not very good. the eggs were supposed to be stuffed with "roasted potatoes," but contained hash browns. The pancakes were silver dollar sized and as thin as paper, which seems a really bizarre practice for a breakfast place (a full sized stack costs a rest. maybe fifty cents?) Never, ever going back there.

Not the cleanest of restaurants. It was last decorated in the early 80s, but fortunately it has been cleaned sometime earlier this century. The breakfast buffet here is disappointing. The kitchen can't seem to keep the buffet stocked, even when the restaurant is only moderately busy. The buffet doesn't have much variety, either. If you want a good Big Boy breakfast buffet, drive a few miles more to the Plymouth Rd. location in Ann Arbor.

My g/f and I have come here on various evenings over the course of several months and the crew overall is fanastic. Every server that we've had goes above and beyond our expectations. The food is also consistently cooked and prepared as expected of Big Boy. If you're looking for Big Boy food with excellent service look no further.

I LOVE Big Boy. I've been in the area now for 5 years, and only recently did I discover the wonders it offers. Today we had the breakfast bar (which stays open til 2pm y'all!). Delights included: breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast, waffles, grits (!!), sausage, and a full salad/fruit bar. I had eggs, french toast, a muffin and some bacon. The food gets eaten up pretty quickly, so it's fresh and delish. If you feel guilty after eating one too many waffles, you can always smooth away your sorrows and eat some cucumber. The other day, I went in for a BLT on rye. It was good! No foolin', no messin' around. The veggies were crisp and fresh, not limp and soggy, making for a cool companion to my lovely bacon. I fell for the subconscious advertising on my place mat, and ordered some strawberry pie. I think this is my favorite thing about Big Boy. They offer seasonal fruit, so it tends to be good and sweet. The wait staff at this Big Boy are attentive and funny. With how often I go, I feel like a 70 year old, but hey...I like the place! If you're into diner-dining, you'll like it too.

This is the best big boy anywhere in the state, at least that I know of. Great fresh food and great service. Always clean. Great breakfast bar, awesome sandwiches, great spaghetti. My first visit was for cottage cheese and coffee back in April. I sat at the counter. Yes, they have a counter for stragglers.

Wow! What a welcome change in attitude and service. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and acknowledged by the friendly and helpful staff. They were all genuinely interested in making our visit a positive and memorable one. The food was good and the dining area was clean. My hats off to the management for making this work environment fun. You just can't fake this kind of service.

The decor is a little outdated and the walls could use a good cleaning, but it is a not supposed to be a fancy place. They serve breakfast all day which is great. The potato pancakes are my favorite. Santa Fe has some kick to it while the lumberjack is hearty. My significant other likes the breakfast buffet and they offer a great variety of things and are willing to make eggs or meat to order. Their coffee is also pretty good. This past time we sat near the waitress station. Ron, the manager, seemed mean to the employees. It was a little awkward to be listening to that during breakfast. The cashier was training a new person at the register and I was impressed how she walked the new employee through the process over and over with patience.

Had the Classic Big Boy, fries and soup/salad bar. Soup was great. The lettuce was a bit icky looking so I used other things for salad. The wait staff was great and always checked on us for drink refills. When we got our food, it was cooked perfectly. Fries were crispy just the way we ordered them. Will go again someday.

I have been to bigboy all over michigan. This big boy is my fave. i finally left a review tonight because our exp was just amazing. Our server was JUSTIN who deserves i swear some sort of medal. He deserves such a medal for his amazing serving skill & also his humor. He had several other tables and i noticed everyone got the same service. Refills were plenty & he had the dishes cleared really fast. He even asked us when we wanted our food cooked because we were eating the salad bar also. i like the manager there also. he is really nice & funny. i mentioned how much i liked the display case pies & sundaes and he told me he made them from crisco. :) what a great idea! The place was super clean & i loved the decor they have going for thanksgiving. Everything was really good. i had the salad bar which was fully stocked & the fruit was wonderful. i love the fact that they have spring mix & not just iceberg lettuce. I also like how they have a nice selection of non dairy dressing options. the only thing i would like to see there would be garbanzo beans :)
