Country pie stands are better than any other thing in the world, I think. Lynn here has the market cornered on great pies in this neck of the woods - you just can't beat it. Order them a day or two ahead of time, and you'll be good to go. She'll make any pie you can think of, and it will be the best pie you've ever had. My personal favorite is the Apple pie, but I'd eat just about any other kind and be happy about it. The pies are all around $10. She makes other things like cake and sweets, but who cares? You want pie! Take a trip down Willis road, and make sure you're looking for her, or you'll miss her. Well worth the time and money - these pies are the real deal.

We stayed at the Parish House Inn for one night. It is beautiful and is in a very convenient location to the highway as well as some bars and restaurants. Chris, the owner did a fantastic job making us feel at home. The Victorian-style inn is clean and very well taken care of; we stayed in room 9 and it looked just like the picture. Chris' breakfast in the morning was delicious as well. I woke up early to coffee, and great conversation. After speaking with Chris, I learned she has a passion for her business. That is evident in the way she treats her customers and tends to the actual building itself. I have stayed at a few bed and breakfasts and I would absolutely recommend the Parish House Inn, well done, Chris! Amy- Chicago

They always seem to have the best pizzas here. Always fresh, well cooked and I swear they put more spices on here than the other places, or do something special with the cheese, because the pizzas just always look and taste better than other little caesars. Cant say the same about the cheese bread which was just ok, but their pizzas have made me a regular and yet to disappoint! They also alwaya seem to have one ready.
First review from me ever and first review for little ceasars washtenaw :) After a long day at work, I just needed something quick. It was 11:27 pm and they closed at 11, so I start to turn around and the guy waves me in. He said theyre closed but they have a pizza that just came out...great. I add a soda, pay and walk out. He comes out and offers me a colder one with the assistance of his coworker. I turned it down at first but appreciated the effort they both put in. Besides that, I share the pizza with my friend and we both agree it was a pretty delicious hot n ready. No lie, might have been best Ive had.

Three years later and still, hands down, my go-to place for pizza. They were unfortunately closed down for a few months due to a fire and finally were able to reopen. I don't know if it was the anticipation of being able to chow down on amazing pizza after not having the option for a few months, but last night it was the best it's ever been. As I've said before, you won't regret getting pizza from here. It's inexpensive, tastes amazing, and is locally owned. Go here before you support any of the chain stores and you won't look back.
Very good pizza. Ridiculous value. Ingredients were fresh. Cheese was very good. Sauce was perfect - Not too salty. You can get sesame seed crust which is a big plus in my book. For a large one topping take out the price was $6.19 and just $1.10 more per topping. So cheap! Location is a bit rundown but if that helps keep the price of these pizzas so low, I say more power to the owners. I will be back!
Yep, this place is everything you all said it would be. Delicious, fast, friendly and cheap. What sort of witchcraft and/or voodoo are they performing here to get a crust that good out of an impingement oven? Only sad they don't deliver to my part of town.

Chef Restaurant Mediterranean Grill

Reviews:
I realized, after going there so many times I cannot count, that I NEVER had the felafel! So, we ordered felafel - and, Oh My Freaking, Chef! It's the BEST felafel I've ever stuffed into my head. It made my girlfriend moan. I also , finally, got around to ordering the lamb - and I did some moaning of my own. Chef is a genius, and his family is wonderful - they work hard, and they deserve all the business you can give them. I hope I die before this place closes; I don't think I could bear to live without it.
Came here because my brother recommended this restaurant. I was told to order the chicken shawarma and was not disappointed. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and the price is more than reasonable. If you happen to be in the area and are looking for quality Mediterranean food, this is the place for you
I stopped by for a quick lunch while I was in the area. I was greeted by a friendly family. I wasn't too hungry, so I went for the fattoush and lamb shawerma. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I would like to try other dishes. The restaurant has a home style cooking feel to it.

This place is so much fun to go to. If you are looking for anything with a vintage feel, or some novelty item, this is the right place. They even have bulk candy you can buy! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere has a very homey feel.
Really cool place with a lot of, frankly, strange stuff. I love it there. Doesn't hurt that the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Antonio’s Coney Island

Reviews:
You guys. YOU GUYS! This is legit, freshly-prepared Honduran and Guatemalan food, served quickly and happily in a little dining room masquerading as a Coney Island. Yes, you could get hash browns and eggs - but why??? Their caldo de mariscos with a coconut milk base was the standout for us, loaded with crab, shrimp, yucca root, plantain, mussels, squid, etc. accompanied by fresh corn tortillas, lime, spicy salsa, and fragrant herbed rice. My wife said it was like something we'd eat at a nice resort on vacation somewhere exotic. For $12 in a non-descript strip mall next to a sketchy-looking acupuncture place in Ypsi, I'll take it! Fried fish was accompanied by perfectly starchy, pillowy, and salty lightly-fried green bananas (not at all like the sticky, sugary fried plantains you might have had with Jamaican food), which also figured prominently in their other dishes (tajadas). Their enchiladas were otherwise tostadas topped with thin slices of egg, avocado, and tomato, a fresh cabbage slaw with cilantro and red onion, and small cubes of potato mixed with a savory seasoned ground beef, swimming in a light sauce. This dish was a revelation to me, and for $7, I was glad to have taken the chance. Maybe we lucked out and got the freshest ingredients, focused preparation, and friendliest service on a quiet Monday evening, but I'm already looking forward to our next visit to complete our tasting of their "special" menu!
This is a quirky little place that opened as a Coney Island and has added in a menu based in Honduran cuisine. The place is small and very much looks like a Coney Island but they have two menus. So far I have tried the Typical Dish, the fried fish and the enchiladas. Fried fish come out whole, unless requested head off and was cooked perfectly. The enchiladas are not like a typical enchilada and are served more like a Mayan style panucho where lots of fresh ingredients are piled atop a fried corn tortilla. Everything I've had was great. I am giving it a 5 because it's different and the food is very unique, I wouldn't say this is going to be the most amazing ambiance and service, but it's definitely the most bang for your buck at a coney with 5 star food, I really want them to stick around!
This is a Middle American family owned restaurant in Ypsi. They offer American and Middle American type of food. I ordered the "Tipico" breakfast which was a breakfast style taco. It contained refried beans, avocado, 2 eggs, bacon, plantains and cream. The corn tortillas were homemade and very authentic. The plantains w/ cream was a sweet side to the hearty dish. This was a nice change from the usual eggs and toast type of breakfast. I love supporting the family owned restaurants and the service was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Seriously this place is incredible. The coneys are amazing and the root beer is.... Literally hands down the greatest i've ever had. It's homeade root beer that taste's like a float without the ice cream. You can even get a root beer float! They also sell their root beers not only in medium and large, but you can buy a half gallon or a gallon of that liquid gold. My girlfriend and I are addicted to this place. Get there ASAP if you haven't tried it yet so you can taste all that glorious food! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the servers are friendly!
I can't believe this place has been here since 1932 and i only just discovered it last year. My review will simply be echoing what others have already said... -THE HOMEMADE ROOTBEER! -THE MICHIGAN SAUCE -THE TRADITION ENJOY!
I've been coming here since I was a kid. The chili is slightly sweet and it's very good. They also have great root beer. You park your car and they come out to you!

Service is great, food is always fresh & I get exactly what I expect when dealing with a big brand business. I Love It!!!
Excellent. For a take-out pizza place, it doesn't get much better than this (at least this location). Consider me a regular now that I live on this side of town.
You know... Hungry Howie's is acceptable. For "fast food" pizza, they at least are consistent and relatively flavorful. Service is fast. Sure I'd rather have Supino's, but in a pinch Hungry Howie's will do.

Dom Bakeries

Ypsilanti, 48197
Reviews:
I never understood the donut fascination....until now. Dom has showed me the light. I haven't had a great donut in years. I remember a friend off-handedly talking about an awesome unassuming bakery in Ypsilanti that I should check out and I am forever grateful I did as she said. Had the greatest donuts here! ...well, here and some donut shop in Boston to be fair, but still! I was floored. Run by a nice Asian family. I try to come in during the afternoon/evening, which is when my friend tells me their fresh batches come out. The donuts that have really stood out to me are the original glazed, blueberry, and apple. Buy a couple and just warm them up through the week as you eat them! A good start to the day guaranteed.
Dom's are the best donuts. They understand both the theory and execution of donuts at Dom's, which not all donut shops do. The cream and custard-filled donuts are perfectly airy dough, with a surprising light AND rich cream - or a creamy custard - that complements, and completes the donut. The apple fritters are some of the best I've had anywhere, with the perfect balance of fruit, dough, and glaze. The glazed donuts rival Krispy Kreme in their lightness and delicious glaze. Dom's makes real, fresh donuts, and so the fresher they are, the better they taste. We stop here on all special occasions, but truthfully, every stop here makes it a special occasion. Stop by early - bring cash or your ATM card - and get the best donuts you've had in a long, long while!
I have been coming to this place for years. I remember going through their drive-thru with my dad when I was kid. If you live in the Ypsi area and haven't been to Dom's it's usually a total shock. They do the classics VERY well. I have only ever been disappointed by their cookies, but honestly if you go for their cookies you need to get your priorities in order. Their cakes are amazing (and for any occasion according to the sign), the coffee is always hot and never sludgy, and their service is very prompt. I always get a variety of things when I go, and usually some 'day olds'. They also have a section were you can get bottled drinks and they have picnic tables outside if you choose to do that. When you go inside you get the feeling that this bakery churns out a lot of product, but the quality is never lacking. I would like them to have more "fun" flavors, but they do what they do well. So I can't fault them for that.
