I've been meaning to try this place ever since moving to the area. I often shop in the Kroger in the same strip and occasionally hit the coffeeshop there [Primo], too. Their menu looked interesting online so I finally gave in and gave them a whirl. I'm not the biggest fan of pizza. Cooked tomatoes and I just do not get along very well. But after drooling over the selections of sandwiches and burgers I surprised myself by ordering a calzone. They were happy to make the calzone with the herb-infused olive oil "sauce" instead of standard pizza sauce. In retrospect this was a little bit of a mistake, as it was incredibly oily. On the other hand, olive oil is supposed to be good for you, right? Yeah, I'll pretend it was pseudo healthy, because it was certainly tasty. And, hey, one of my fillings was spinach. Although I suspected the spinach was frozen I can accept that -- frozen spinach isn't so awful or bad for you, and shouldn't lose it's flavor and healthiness like canned [yech] spinach. Bonus - It turns out that calzones are half off every day from 3-6pm. I had no idea, so it was a nice surprise when the bill came. I also got a small garden salad. The lettuce was clearly a mix of the kind of "mixed greens" you can buy at Costco for $N per Giant Vat. But it was fresh, as were the little cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices. I forgot to ask if their creamy Italian dressing was homemade but it was tasty and not heavy. One interesting thing I noted: There were a couple of families there with small kids. One table changed the little tv at the table from the standard trivia game to something obviously intended for kids. What a brilliant idea! [Edited to remove babble about then-ongoing construction, which is now complete.]

If you sign up for their newsletter before your birthday, they will send you a coupon for a free large specialty pizza for the week of your birthday. That's an $18 deal, and I have to admit that the Sicilian pizza I had for my birthday week was probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. Now that I think back maybe it was only so delicious because it was free. The bad news is that when I went back a month later for the same amazing pizza, this time it was far less tasty and there was a 10 minute wait before we were seated. Why? No hostess at the door. This happens probably half the time I go to this restaurant. I should have just turned around and left. Instead, we stayed due to limited dining options in the area at that time of night, and when our first server disappeared on us without a warning, a second server had to take over. The only reason I ever really find myself at Aubree's (Whittaker location only) is because they are open late. The appetizers are expensive, the salads are large, the pizza is mostly good (I like the BBQ Chicken one, too) and I'm sure they have good drink specials if you find your way through the traffic around happy hour. Otherwise, nothing much to rave about.

This new extension of an old institution is good, if a little overpriced. I like the Aubree's Saloon in Depot Town best, but the Tavern on Whittaker is nice, too. It's got a different flavor. The one in Depot Town is definitely a college hang-out, while the Tavern on Whittaker is more of a family restaurant. The pizza is the same here, but some of the dishes are a bit different. When I came here with my husband, he got tortilla chips with his entree, and the chips were stale. I had a salad, and my greens were wilted and past their prime. However, his main dish, the veggie quesadillas, were good. The rest of my meal was good as well, if a little pricey.

Lots of unique and interesting menu items; I had a hard time deciding which item to order. There were 5 adults and 2 children (ages 1 and 5) in our party. The adults ordered: bbq chicken sandwich, chicken bahn mi, meatball potato skins, feta & spinach pizza rolls, and pork lovers pizza. We loved everything! The kids didn't love their mac and cheese so the adults gobbled it up. If you're looking for Kraft-variety mac & cheese, forget about Aubree's. If you're looking for the best gourmet mac & cheese you've ever had - complete with Ritz cracker crumble topping - go straight Aubree's right NOW. It was delicious. I only gave them 4 stars because of the slight lack of kid-friendliness. They do have a kids menu but (1) There was only one high chair in the restaurant and it wasn't useable with the elevated booth we sat in, and (2) they don't serve milk. Also, there weren't many places to seat a group of 7; the majority of seating was booths. I would definitely go again but would probably leave the kids with grandma & grandpa next time.

If you've been to the Aubree's in Marquette and thought this would be equally wonderful, its probable you will be disappointed. As far as sports bar pizza goes, I've had better and I've certainly had worse. It felt like an Chilis, but with way more TVs. I think the real downfall though was our high expectations since the Aubree's in the UP is so great.

The food is okay, the service is decent, mostly depends on how lucky you are on a particular visit. What could greatly be improved is the confusion as to where should carry out orders be picked up. There is a door labeled "Pick Ups" but then they ask you to go to the bar. To make it worse, sometimes they do hand out orders by the pick up door. The gluten-free pizza is really good!

I love aubrees- in DEPOT TOWN. This one is OK. The food is not as good, but my main issue is its SO SLOW. I've been in the industry, plus I'm a patient person who likes to relax when I go out and take my time. However I consistently wait about an hour for food. I get it when it's busy- but when it's slow? It's irritating. We went in for just dessert, and waited for 30+ mins! Really? Don't waste your time, drive a few more miles to depot town! Best pizza I've ever had, and amazing burgers!

Awesome place. It is SO much cleaner than the Aubree's in depot town. The staff is top notch and the food is good. Wait times soon food are minimal, and if you are really crunched for time, they have an excellent pizza buffet. Highly, highly recommend this place!

Over priced, and not much thought in food prep. Coconut chicken strips sour when coconut is burned, plus sauces are thin and sour. Mediterranean chicken pasta bland and the chicken was reeeeeeealllly salty. Again, over priced ($23.00) and definitely have buyer,s remorse.

We gave Aubree's another go on Friday, and I'm happy to boost them up a star! The whole event went much smoother than last time, and I'm beginning to think my previous experience--overcrowded and understaffed/undersupplied--was not at all the norm. This time we were seated quickly and waited on promptly (The server was very sweet, and split our checks up without us even asking.). I went for a Hawaiian pizza, which was delightful, while SK was happy with his Italian sausage and green olive calzone (weirdo). Didn't imbibe on this visit, but as I've mentioned before, the beer selection is decent for what otherwise seems like a very generic family-sportsy-pizza place. Beer, potato skins, pizza, and molten lava cake: the perfect spread over which to debate the quality and interpretive accuracy of Marvel comics movies. (A conversation which I found edifying, though I could contribute little more than strong feelings about the enjoyability of watching Robert Downey Jr. run around in a robotic suit.)

Had a great experience at Aubree's! We went there for the MSU final game and the three of us were able to sit in a booth across from the bar with our own TV in the booth to watch the game. The beer specials were excellent and the peperoni bread and feta bread just topped it off. Service was friendly. I'll definitely be returning to try some of their famous pizza.

We went here for New Year's Eve. What a disappointment. The service was horrible, the food would have been much better if it were warm. We had to ask for silverware, a second steak knife with our entree.... I don't normally post like this, but I also did on their Facebook page and they deleted it!

Friend of mine said go here for outstanding CALZONE's and PIZZA's... I went... I ate... and I SUFFER!!! There must have been cigarette smoke convention in this place that evening. Do not get Boodah wrong... food was so tasty! Calzone was BIG, GIGANTIC... and delicious!!! I just have hard time enjoying my food when taking gulps of smokey air in as I bite my food. Word to wise man at Aubrey's... GET A NON SMOKING SECTION! From now on, I DO THE TAKE OUT style with them. Keep up good work guys.

Poor management. I live very close to this joint. I enjoy the pizza at the one in depot town, so I was excited to see one closer to home. I went in to play trivia and have some cocktails shortly after they opened. The manager would not accept my out-of-state ID. How disappointing. Oh well, I guess I'll just drive further into town for a drink from now on.

Food is great and service is usually decent. They feature some great Michigan beers on-tap. It is a nice place to meet a friend for drinks. However, it is really loud. And there are a lot of TVs which I find pretty distracting. This would definitely get 4 stars if the atmosphere was more geared towards the dining than the bar.

Good food, nice staff. Pizza and bread are popular but pretty much everything is good.

Finally a good calzone place........300 miles from my apartment. At least they don't fry them here. What's wrong with you Chicago?

Excellent beer selection with a heavy emphasis on local and craft brews. The garlic cheese bread is very good (I mean how could it not be). The pizza is good even if kinda skimpy for what you pay. My girlfriend would have liked to seen more pasta dishes. Very veg friendly.

Great pizza bread! Not as smokey as the one in Depot Town. This location has tv's in booths. I would highly recommend this joint.

I have never been to the Aubree's in Depot Town, so this only applies to the Whittaker Road location. I have been here a few times and have really enjoyed myself. The service is subpar, but the food is pretty good. I almost always get their feta bread, which is amazing, but I have also tried their pizza, salad, and a chicken sandwich. Their salt-and-pepper French fries are also really good, and I would even tack on an extra half star for those things - delish. Great place to watch sports, drink beer, and have some decent food. They also have some (and only SOME) good happy hour deals, but you kind of have to know which day they serve your beverage of choice because it changes based on the day of the week. Oh, and if you join their e-club you get coupons for free food, which is always a plus!

I guess it was ok pizza. Woud have been better if we would have gotten what we ordered. They were out of a couple toppings we wanted, no biggie, they were out of the beer we wanted but our nice server found a couple bottles hidden and they brought us out a pizza on regular dough, not the whole wheat we ordered. Now the spinach feta rolls made up for it, they're very good. Might have to give it another try, if we are in the area but won't make a special trip.

  • Alice C.

oh aubree's. i do love your pizza. but your sandwich gave my friend food poisoning, your salads are consistently wilty and scary, you don't have the greatest selection of draft beers, and your servers seem....objectified? i can't place the exact word. they remind me of the hooters gals in that episode of undercover boss. like their boss is telling them to wear tight shirts or else. maybe i'm wrong. but i still wish they had better beer on tap. and i wish they had green lettuce, not brown.

  • Carrie B.

Aubrey's in Depot Town has the best pizza around. Their spinach artichoke pizza is so. good. I love their food and the atmosphere! I also appreciate that they carry a good variety of Michigan beer on tap.

As with any restaurant, the server can make or break the experience. I feel that this is particularly true with this location. For my husband and I's first visit, our server was literally amazing. She was one of the best we'd ever had. When she found out we'd never been there before, she got the manager to give us a free dessert! She truly went above and beyond. When my husband and I returned for out second visit, our server took over ten minutes to bring us our drink order. My husband and I think she forgot about us, because when she did come back our way she saw us, made eye contact and sprinted back the way she'd just come, appearing with our drinks about a minute later. Things happen, but it was a little odd given that the dining room was nearly empty! Once our food came, our waitress never came to ask how our food was, and when it was time to get the check (about twenty minutes later), she was still nowhere to be found. She did eventually come, but not before we seriously considered going up to the bar to see about our check. Those are the only two times that I've dined in to the restaurant, but my husband and I have also gotten delivery from Aubree's and the food has been superb. One subpar dining in experience aside, Aubree's has been good to us, and the food has proved to be consistent. We will return to try it again!

Amazing food and service! Recommended from the hotel near by as "the best pizza place in Ypsilanti". They weren't joking.

Don't get too attached to anything on the menu because chances are when you come back it won't be on the menu next time. They are constantly changing their menu and they are always getting rid of everything I like. The most recent was this pizza with arugula and balsamic glaze that was so good, but they got rid of that. I have been going here for fifteen years and the list of things they have gotten rid of is so extensive. They used to have this feta bread with sun dried tomatoes, but not anymore, their sweet potato fries used to be so much better but now they are crinkled and lack authenticity. The pizza lunch hour is decent. Overall, it's close to my house so I know I will be back, but it frustrates me how they are constantly changing their menu.

  • Steph W.

The lunch buffet is pretty mediocre. Definitely not as good as ordering from the regular menu. The pizza, bread, and hamburgers are great. Not impressed with the other menu items.

I used to go here more often, but there are so many more good choices, that this just became one of many. Last Sunday, some of us went to watch the NE/GB game. The outcome aside, we had a good time. What stands out here is their dishes containing bread, red sauce and a variety of toppings. These include their excellent pizzas, calzones and my favorite, spinach/feta bread (with two dipping sauces). My SO liked her wings and beer and bloody mary. I liked my beer, but I wish the selections were deeper. At least they have a few Michigan Micros on tap. The TVs, while plentiful, seemed almost too far away from most seats. Even though it was not at all crowded (surprising), moderate human noise from the bar seemed amplified. The restaurant is very nice looking in the old Midwest city style (lots of wood). I used to play a lot of pool at their upstairs billiard parlor, Sticks. That's a nice space, as well. However, the was a Steelers game on and Steelers Nation holds court up there, so be advised! I would not be against going there again.

I hosted a bridal shower at Aubree's in their private room and it was great. The waitress (Camille) was so helpful and actually helped us carry stuff in from my car, helped us decorate and was so attentive to our party during the shower. She was absolutely amazing and worked her butt off. The food was fabulous as well. I would definitely host another gathering at Aubree's! The only negative thing about our event was the air conditioning in the private room wasn't keeping up with the number of people and the extreme heat outside so the manager purchased a box fan from the nearby krogers and set it up in the room to keep us cool. That did the trick. Everyone at Aubree's went above and beyond to make our event great!

  • Jessica P.

This place isn't bad but the food and service seems mediocre at best. Last time I was here we tried the pizza buffet, it was cold and the food hadn't been replenished so the options were slim pickings...I wouldn't pick this place as my first option for dining.

    (3)
  • Terri M.

Don't know if the food is good or if it's the near starvation of waiting an hour for it that makes it taste good? Incompetent unapologetic staff.

Any review under 5's did not eat a calzone. They are the BEST I have ever had! They are like New York pizza meets Chicago pizza and had the most delicious baby in the world. So, in closing have a Calzone.

Solid pub food for certain! I order Aubrees a few times a week at the office and for good reason. They have a great menu. I usually order a salad during lunch to keep it on the lighter side but I can promise even the salads will fill you. They are always fresh and packed with delicious toppings. If you're mood for something heartier you can't go wrong with their burgers or sandwiches. And if you truly want to experience Aubrees in its glory, go for the pizza (or better yet...the spinach feta bread)! Enjoy all of its cheesy saucy glory and you won't be disappointed. They also do a "limited time" menu that they change out maybe seasonally. You have to take advantage of this portion of the menu because they are always offering unique menu options here. Currently they have this amazing Harvest Pappardelle dish. It's got shaved brussel sprouts, kale, fresh tomatoes, and big wide noodles cooked just right. They also offer FREE delivery. Bonus! They are an Ypsilanti staple and consistently delicious.

Was good a few years ago but has steadily declined in options and has disappointed me in some way every time I've gone in the past year. I've been going for over 4 years. Now all my boyfriend and my favorite items are gone! Except that as of the last time we went they still have spinach and feta rolls which are delicious. It's like someone came in to a good restaurant and bought it and changed the menu to make it easier to open other chain restaurants. I miss the place I used to go all the time, it still has decent food so I go here with people from work because it's so close. I will say that less and less people from work are willing to go because their favorites are all gone.

I vastly prefer the Aubree's in Depot Town over this location on Whittaker. Why? The Depot Town location has never given me an old veggie patty from some little known crevice in their freezer like the Whittaker location has. That location has also never harassed me and my partner to purchase their BBQ sauce. Also, this location over cooks my Aubree's bread every time. I find that I prefer the atmosphere of the Depot Town location, and the fact that they have the Eagle's Discount. This location isn't terrible. They still have the same menu, and all of the coupons that come on the boxes from either location can be used here. The staff is relatively friendly, but I've always noticed that they are a bit less attentive. Aubree's is still a decent place to eat, but if you have a choice, I'd recommend going to the one in Depot Town.

Best pizza ever everything else is just ok. This is the original Aubrees they are starting to franchise very solid food wings burgers hummus is good but the pizza is great but it dies quickly so eat it while it's fresh and hot

Ticket times for food was beyond 50min for each visit. and we only ordered soup and pasta. It's the only place to get a beer this far into the sticks of Ypsi. Mediocre food at best, don't waste your money here. If you must have a beer with your dinner, drive the extra couple miles to Sidetracks!

This review is based solely on the pizza and wings that we had at this location... I've been to the Depot Town location many times previously but this location had a pizza buffet on Saturday that my wife wanted to check out. The pizza buffet was reasonably priced for pizza, breadsticks and salad, i think it was 8.99 a person on Saturday (might be lower during the week). The pizza was quality when it was hot and fresh (it never hurts to ask the server to ask when a new pizza will be put out). Our server was nice and attentive even as she was training a newbie and even let us know a fresh pepperoni pizza was coming out on the line. The pizza itself here is fabulous- the crust is chewy, doughy and substantive with not too much sauce and the grease factor is exactly right- enough for great butter-cheesy flavor, but not too much as to require paper towels for sopping up the excess. As for myself, I opted for an order of boneless wings and thin-cut fries (which actually are regular sized fries... i guess they're thin compared to the steak fries you can also get) shared with my wife. The honey chipotle sauce was sweeter than i expected, but my server accomodated my request to have a side of Volcano sauce which was hot, but not too hot... i would compare it to a Mango Habanero sauce at BW3. Hot and sweet- definitely going with that one next time we go. The wings were a little pricey ($9) for a non-special time, but as I'm trying to eat low carb , there's not a ton of choices after the wings and chicken tenders and salads. Overall, we have found a new pizza buffet that my wife will probably start craving when she gets pregnant and it's definitley not a bad place to go for adults just wanting a quiet time out and maybe some football in the background. If we lived closer, we would come here more often, but then again, we also live similarly distanced to Depot Town as well.

Aubrees (Whitaker road) really quality ingredients. Haven't tried the pizza but the quality of the grilled chicken is enough to keep coming back.

I was thinking I would have to post a negative review because our dinner took a VERY long time but then the manager came over to our table and apologized for the wait and explained that they had an unusual amount of deliveries and the kitchen was backed up. They comped our meal for having to wait so long. So five stars for excellent customer service. Oh and the food was delicious too!

    (5)
  • Jessica R.

The food is good but the service is TERRIBLE! Even if you are only picking up an order to go! I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for a salad that was ordered 40 minutes earlier. Problem is, it's the only restaurant in the area so we keep coming back even though we keep saying that is the last time we will ever go there.

My husband and I have been to Aubreys on several occasions it appears though the last 2 times we have been there, there have been several mistakes with our food. It appeared to us that there was little attention to detail, like a medium rare burger came cooked VERY well done, sweet potato fries burnt t When finally this last visit I brought it to our waiters attention went to explain to the manager of our dissatisfaction and she acted like she could care less! Not sure we will hurry to go back! #aubrees #ypsilanti #localrestaurants

Aubree's -ypsi 10/2/14 - We had to get gas among other reasons so ended up at Aubree's in Ypsilanti. We were not in a hurry so took our time ordering which may have been a mistake because I think it signaled we would like to sit and not eat? Yep you guessed it the food delivery was pushing the limits but we persevered. Actually I believe the kitchen was one of those infamous slow ones you hear about but don't experience much. Heard the burgers were excellent so the Derby Bourbon cooked medium was on my list with regular fries. Not being a fan of fries it however just didn't seem right not to have them. I have to tell you the idea of the cook's medium and mine was different as it leaned more to medium rare so beware. The taste was pretty good if you got by the coolness of a burger medium rare and a small twist of what they called onion straws added crunch. The seasoning on the fries was also tasty. Lynn tried the BAT Grilled Cheese (also with fries) for you not familiar that's bacon, avocado, tomato and cheese. Sounds good but a little skimpy with what may have been last week's Kroger unripe hard tomatoes. What we did notice was many others trying the pizza so on our next visit (yep we will give it one more run) it will be the selection, after all they must know something. Wondering why we are going back, the staff won the prize for courtesy, creating a friendly atmosphere and treating us with welcome arms. That's not found in this kind of place often. OH did I mention the beer is cold. Jack and Lynn

Aubree's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants, both because I think this is a wonderful local business and because the food is SO DARN GOOD. This location is great for a more typical dining experience while I prefer the Depot Town location because of the more bar-like atmosphere. The food is top-notch at both locations, though, and the service is usually really good, too! Bonus points because the Whittaker Rd. area was greatly in need of some good grub and I am SO happy that I can now get Aubree's even closer to home!

Been here many times. Why I haven't written a review I'm not sure. Tonight's visit was very typical. I like this location more than Depot Town. Parking is much easier to find. Although the ambiance of creeking wood floors is not present. I like that whole old, antiquey vibe. The staff is pleasant, helpful and customer oriented. The Mighty Mighty Meat pizza was real tasty. Served up hot, right out of the oven it really hit the spot. Then the Fat Tire Amber Ale, which in itself is great, complemented the pizza to a tee. This is a favorite spot of mine. Check it out.

My husband and I decided to go in on a Friday evening to sit at the bar and grab a few drinks and an appetizer. When we arrived the bar it was about half full. The actual seating area wasn't very crowded at all but it was around 10ish. We had to wait a couple of minutes before the bartender greeted us to take a drink order but it wasn't anything to get upset about. I asked her for a menu. When she came back with our beers I told her we would like some bread sticks. So, we sat and watched the game and drank our beers. A server brought over our bread sticks and we dove right into them. I have to give them credit that the bread sticks themselves weren't bad but the dipping sauce they brought with it was a little dry and nasty around the sides. I kind of figured it must have been sitting out and since we were there later in the night we must of got the left overs... I was waiting for our bartender to come back so we could get some extra napkins, fresh marinara sauce and new beers but she was no where to be found. We waited patiently for about 15 minutes but still nothing. Finally, I was pretty much done with the food and really was just ready to go when my husband spotted our bartender at the other end of the bar. I tried waving a couple of times to get her attention but she was in the middle of making drinks. Its when she finished making the drinks and I realized that she was actually drinking them with other customers (must of been regulars) that I got a little angry. I finally called out to her that we would like our bill and she came right over and acted as if we were interrupting her social hour. We paid quickly and left right away.I was appalled that a restaurant would actually allow their employees to drink on the job. To say the least we might order pizza to go but would not be making this place a regular go to neighborhood restaurant / bar.

They have quite a few choices when it comes to menu- not just your standard pizza fare. I've never had to wait for a seat (but to be fair, I've only been on weekdays) and service has always been good. Is it the best pizza we can get in town? No, but decent pizza is still pizza :)

I was a huge fan of the Aubrees in Depot Town. I used to be a big fan of the Aubree's on Whittaker. The food was reasonable, the Michigan beer selection was great. The service depended on who you were getting and how busy things were. As time went on, the menu started getting lots of revisions. Some of the things I used to like dropped off the menu and it really felt like they were averaging out the food to more mediocre bar food. The trouble was the prices were set for the better stuff they used to have and really hadn't dropped. It now feels like a bad bang for the buck. At this point I'd rather go to other venues even if the beer selection isn't as good.

The food is delicious, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I've never had food at any Aubree's that wasn't awesome, but the service at this location tends to be really slow.

I Went there for lunch because I had to try their Spinach & Feta Pizza Rolls. It was really good and I recommend getting it. They also have other types of bread/roll appetizers that looked delicious. Got the Pizza/Salad buffet and got to try different types of pizza. Few of the pizza might have been sitting around little too long but still not bad. The salad bar was good and had the usual salad items for creation. This buffet is very similar to Pizza Hut's lunch buffet. Their Pizzas aren't anything different from normal pizza. It's not Chicago or NY style. It's "American style"? Similar to Pizza Hut? That's not a bad thing since I like Pizza Hut. The service was top notch and out waitress even told us that they can make any pizza on the menu that's not out already. Really Nice! We ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and came out fresh for us to try. It's a great place for sports watching with a nice bar and lot of TVs. Also the prices aren't too bad. Strange that the other Aubree's in Depot Town - Ypsilanti is only few miles away. Will try that location another time but I do recommend this Aubree's.

the food quality has gone way downhill the past year. I just ordered yesterday and the food was terrible. I mean you can get a better sub at Jimmy John and I dont like that at all! I wont be going back for some time.....you can tell something it up by the empty dining room

The manager was wonderful, and our waitress was great. They were very apologetic when our order took a long time to make, and our pizza was not as ordered. In the end it was worth the wait. The pizza left us craving for more. -But why are the tables so greasy?

Went here the day of the election. What a disappointment. Service was fine but their food just sucks. Every time i go here I am never happy with their food. I had the fish tacos and they were absolutely TERRIBLE. I wish i could remember what my gf got because it was also bad. This place has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. It had a great layout. Get someones help with the food!

Just recently moved to Ypsilanti Township, so I've been trying out a lot of the restaurants in the area to figure out what's good and what isn't. So far, Aubree's has come out on top. Been there several times and tried a good portion of the menu, and I haven't been disappointed by anything so far. Pizza and breadsticks are fantastic, they have a decent draft beer selection, and very friendly and attentive waitstaff. My only complaint is that the wait times can get a bit long if they're really busy; I stopped in with my parents a few weeks ago and at probably 90% capacity, we waited for about an hour between being seated and getting our food. Not a dealbreaker, and pretty understandable considering how many people were there (on a Tuesday night, so they probably weren't staffed for a huge crowd either) but still kinda annoying. All the same, I'll definitely be back.

This Aubree's location is a great place for an adult-centered evening. I've been here a few times and the services is always fantastic. The food is delicious, although if you suffer from heartburn you might want to bring some extra antacids along. If you are a sports fan, there are many televisions which display many on going games. There are amenities available for kids such as the kids menu and a television that always plays cartoons, however, I'd suggest going someplace else if you are looking for a family outing since this restaurant seems more adult oriented.

Went to Aubree's again for a free pizza for my wife's birthday. Crazy as it seems, we took all the kids this time. Just have to say that the pizza was back to what I remembered Aubree's to be. Good, hot, tasty. Don't know what happened on my earlier review. Considering this was dinner time and we had a slew of people at our table, the service was fantastic. They handled our group with ease. This is the Aubree's I remember. I'm a fan. A very big fan.

Excellent thin crust pizza, very good sauce & toppings. Both locations in Ypsi are great, and take out service is outstanding.

Good Pizza. Nice place to stop after shopping at Trader Joe's. A bit of a sports bar, but not obnoxiously so.

I have to clarify I went to the Whittaker Road location and not the one in Depot Town. I went to their website first at aubreespizza.com and they sent me a coupon for a free appetizer when I joined their e club. I would suggest doing the same. They also ask for important dates for all of the family, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I imagine you get freebies then too. I like the look of Aubrees. We mostly went as they have NTN trivia which I am addicted to. If you are an NTN Fan, they have tables with mini tv screens just for you. My husband and I loved that as we could play and not have to look around to find a screen. We decided on boneless wings for our appetizer as we planned on pizza and did not want to overload on starch. We got the chipotle barbecue variety and were quite pleased. It was a generous portion with carrot sticks, celery and ranch for dipping. As my husband loves celery and I love carrot it worked out nicely. The slightly smoky sauce was very tasty and the wings were small and crunchy yet still meaty and juicy inside. For our dinner we wanted completely opposite pizzas so we ordered two. Our waitress kind of acted like we were being piggish which pissed me off. We were taking home major leftovers but at any rate it was just none of her business. I had the Chicken, Goat Cheese and Mushroom bistro specialty pizza on a whole wheat crust. It has roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes and red onion on it also. I asked for pesto rather than tomato sauce and they were nice enough to make the switch for me. It was lovely but the sundried tomatoes got a tad burnt on top, they should have stuck em under the cheese. The pizza other than that was perfect. I could only eat three pieces and took the rest home. My husband had the Mighty Mighty Meat pizza, featuring chunks of italian sausage, bacon, spicy pepperoni, ham and ground beef. He was not a fan of the big chunks of sausage but I like that sort of thing personally. Other than that he thought the pizza was good. Not nearly as good as Toledo pizza, but that is what he says about everything up here. He ate about half his pizza and took the rest home. We went back as I liked the place quite a bit food and trivia set up wise, we have enjoyed half priice calzones during happy hour and scored some free drinks through trivia play. I want to go on the weekend during football season sometime as they have tailgate buffet for just 7.99 with a variety of 'za, brats, dogs, chili, potato and macaroni salad and the like. What a bargain. My birthday gift this year from Aubrees was a free large specialty pizza. We had the Big Kahuna minus onions (James is a baby) and man was it awesome! The Frog Island BBQ Sauce is just yummy. The chicken is in good chunks, slices of nice ham and nice accent of bacon. His half also featured pineapple chunks. Pizza bliss, free trivia, even live free trivia woohoo and all we had to pay for was drinks. So give Aubree's a whirl. It is tasty.
