It's a dive, let's be real here. The food is pretty decent. The waitress we had didn't speak English well. When asked questions about certain foods, she answered the question, but also brought the food that was asked about without it being asked for. Our bill was $46, with more than $20 being appetizers questions were asked about, but not ordered. If you go here, directly ask for what you want with no questions. Lol

Mom and pop set up. Foods def good and hearty and real filling. Gyro was on point but the cucumber sauce is real bland and too much "yogurt" flavor

I used to stop for breakfast but won't anymore. The eggs were fine, but toast was poor. How can you make bad toast? When you don't care. The sausage links were cooked on one side, the other side seemed raw. The hashbrowns were bland and barely cooked. I'm not sure if I'll go back. The place needs updating and new dishes. Maybe the Greek food is exceptional but I've never tried it. Maybe I expected too much, but breakfast is basic. If you can't do decent breakfast can you do great lunch or dinner? Too bad because the area could support a good breakfast place. Now I know why they're never busy. If you are here for breakfast tell them exactly how you want it cooked. If it's links, tell them they need to be cooked throughout. If it's toast, tell them how you want it. If it's potatoes tell them how you want them to be. Otherwise you take your chances. They need to up they're game.

Really good real Greek food here! The lamb shank is the real deal, fall off the bone awesomeness! Gyro is better then most too! Service is very attentive...lots of specials if you want to save $$...food is cooked from scratch...more of a local place but worth a 30 minute drive!

This place is like Cheers to me except instead of beer I have my coffee on my table waiting without asking for it. I am a fan of the 3.99 breakfast. Leaves me full and I have left over bread to feed the horses.

Stopped in foe breakfast a few months ago. It was decent food. I ordered the special, which was fine. The rye bread isn't amazing. Biscuits don't seems homemade, but were good. Server was very attentive. Prices are nothing to complain about.

BEST GERMAN TOMATO SOUP EVER. We go to this place just for this soup. It's just amazing. Also they have great deals on dinners, 2 for $10, includes soup too. Can't beat that. Lots of options and great cooking. Love coming here!

A little hole in the wall type of place....not a place I'd go out of my way for...but definitely worth stopping by for breakfast if you're around. Atmosphere is kinda divey....but for $2.50 -$8.00 you will get a a solid portion and good grub. Decent selection and variety....not a place you go to be fancy....but a place you go to fill the belly on the cheap! I usually get breakfast once here when I am home.

We went there after a movie at MJR because it was centrally located and we've always had a good experience at their other location at Walton and Dixie. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but that didn't really mean anything because it was still quite early. We looked at their specials and saw that they had some dinner specials that were 2 for $10! Gracie was our server and she was very friendly and accommodating. We all ordered one of the specials; I ordered the Country Fried Steak with salad, choice of potato (mashed), and country gravy (on the side). The difference between the regular and special is portion size, but even the special was an adequate amount of food! I wasn't stuffed, but I also wasn't still hungry! The food was very tasty especially for the price! I would DEFINITELY go back!

This restaurant was recommended to me for the breakfast and price. I have to agree the breakfast was very good. The price was $2.99 for 3 eggs, meat, toast, potatoes or grits. I had the ham and grits. Again, very good. My waitress was nice and attentive without camping; perfect. What I didn't like was the environment. The tables were old and sticky and the vinyl seat cushions were split open. Ever the cashier counter was sticky. The outside of the building looked like the business was closed. Either cleanliness or food will kill a place for me.

This is my go-to neighborhood place. Breakfasts are terrific, dinners are hot and tasty. Service is friendly and pretty quick. Is it beautiful? Nope. A little beat up? Yup. Happy to go there? Every time!

Not a bad place for a lazy weekend breakfast, good service, quick in & out or slow breakfast reading the newspaper, take your choice, there are enough choices on the menu & the food is priced fairly, a good alternative to many other Union lake road joints.
