Everytime someone new comes to my house and wants pizza I always recommend this particular Little Ceasars. I'm not too sure as to why it doesn't show up under "pizza" on Yelp, even when I do a map search... but it's awesome! I've had nothing but excellent service here and the pizza, well it's much better than most of the more expensive pizza i n the area (Papa Romano's or whatever that one is at Dixie and Sashabaw that has a Mr. Pita in it, Pizza Hut, and Pizza Express to name a couple). I don't know why people dislike Little Ceasars because everytime I suggest it all of a sudden a person's inner 'pizza-snob' comes out and trash talks Little Sleazers (or some other combination of creative wordsmithery that they can muster up). I always tell them that I'll order whatever they want from where they want it and I always just go get it from Little Ceasars to make them upset and then they end up liking it... Turn your nose up to some Little Ceasars!

Came in on Labor Day, waiting for my sandwich to be made and a man comes in, refusing to hang up his phone to order. Places his order and then asks the cashier a question regarding his order. ( I'm not entirely too sure what he asked her to do, something about wrapping each half of his 3 sandwiches separately but he was pretty crass from the beginning.) she explained they could not do that. He started screaming at her, throwing a tantrum and threatening to message her boss... He called her rude and other names... This poor girl was so kind and as accommodating as possible.. He did not deserve to be treated with as much patience and kindness as she was giving him. He literally screamed at her in jimmy johns for about 5-10 minutes... So, I enjoyed my delicious number six, told him to stop being such an ass to someone on a national holiday, and took his photo. Hopefully her manager sees this review and brushes off this man's absolutely absurd complaint/massive temper tantrum... Thanks for working hard and being friendly and making me such a delicious sandwich, ladies! Sorry this guy sucked so much!
Love this place they always make it fast and fresh. I get the tuna or turkey and add hot jimmy peppers. the workers are nice and always accommodate to changes to my order. I love that you know what you will get each time you go in the same quality each time.

I absolutely love Petes Oven. I have been coming here for my entire life, and my Mom the majority of hers. It's kinda a family tradition for us to have cookies from Petes Oven for holidays, they are SO good . I also love their bread ends and could eat them alone for a meal, they are addicting. I hope this place stays around forever, its a part of my childhood. My Mom would take us here to get doughnuts before school, and I hope to be able to do the same with my children someday.
Not everyone knows about Pete's Oven, since they are tucked away off Dixie on a little side street behind Dunham's... but everyone should! Their baked goods have long been considered the best around by those in the know, in Waterford. I had never tried their cake before & recently ordered a sheet cake & a small round "smash cake" for my daughter's 1st birthday. When I went in to order it, the ladies were so nice & very sweet to my daughter. They had a large variety to choose from but recommended their specialty, white cake with buttercream frosting, so I went with that... it was top quality & everyone loved it. They did a custom design with Owls, which was the theme of the party & it looked very cute. And the price was great! I was very impressed & will order any cakes I need in the future from Pete's Oven. My only complaint was the air conditioning was broken when I went to pick up the cake & it had to be about 125 degrees in there. Luckily they smartly had the cake in the back where it was cooler & it was fine, but I felt bad for the ladies & wondered how those chocolate donuts were holding up. Hopefully they have fixed that by now... if so, 5 stars for Pete's!
I am not sure how I have not yet reviewed Pete's! They are the best bakery around. Their donuts are delicious, and so are their brownies. Yum. They also offer custom cakes with incredibly reasonable prices. In addition, the employees are always so nice! I recommend Pete's to any baked good lover. :)

aaaahhhh good 'ol custard corner. another waterford classic. i used to walk home from school, which was right across the street, with my friends and we would stop here and get 'mistakes' for 50 cents. now that i am adult i can afford a full priced menu item. i usually go for a flurry with some sort of crushed cookies or candy. mmmmm so good! and my husband usually gets a hot fudge sunday, also very good. the employees are always very quick and friendly. we don't eat custard quite as often as i did when i was a kid, but when we do we get it from custard corner and it's a real treat!
Good place to get frozen custard. This is your standard frozen custard joint; nothing bad but nothing to write home about either. Beats DQ hands down. Staff is typical of this type of business, though they do a good job of getting a cone in your hand ASAP.
OMFG This place is AWESOME! But I am disappointed that it closes so early in the season! My husband is a custard connoisseur, and this place is his fav! I also love their custard and ice-cream, it's worth the trip no matter where your coming from!!!! YUMMY!

Riding on the cycle on this beautiful Spring day can get a person really hungry. Stopped to visit our daughter & her family & she recommended this bar. PLI is a neighborhood watering home where everyone knows everyone. Great place. We had burgers, onion rings & breaded mushrooms. The sides were typical bar fare but the burgers were outstanding. Thick & juicy as a bar burger should be. Their known for their ONE POUND burger which takes about 20-30 minutes on the grill. In addition, they serve them with onion & dill pickle slices on the side which is perfect for us. Only 1 server but she handled everything never missing a beat. Yes, going to be going back there to try their huge fish sandwich. Give them a try if you have a hankering for a "big, juicy." Be prepared as this place takes CASH ONLY !!! Nice smoking area that is covered & protected from inclement weather.
We have been here before and the food and drinks were good. We went in there tonight and sat down. We waited for 15 minutes and left. Wish we could have enjoyed ourselves here, but the service was non-existent tonight.
Found myself out in the Waterford/White Lake area tonight and it was just about dinner time. I remembered a place I would go to on occasion about 35 years ago. :Terry's Pontiac Lake Inn". Me and a buddy would call in the order for these huge burgers that took about 25 minutes to cook. We were only 20 years old at the time but we would order two burgers and a couple ice cold Cinci;s, which they served at the time in bottles. I recall the place was dark so I think windows must have been added at a later date. We would sit and heat our burgers and sip our beer, usually ordering a couple more. We thought we were pretty slick. Those were much different times back then. Tonight I did order the 1 pound burger(Only $7.50) , Cheese and mushrooms were extra but only a buck more for both. I got some French fries too. A beer would have tasted great and brought some memories but I went with a coke instead. The whole bill was only $11.75. The fries were served hot cooked well. The burger was just what I wanted. I like to taste meat in my hamburgers. This is a one patty burger that is a full pound. It was done just the way I ordered it. Juicy and flavorful. ( Even though I know the trick about putting the cheese on the bottom not the top giving it more flavor ). This is a "cut it in half" type of burger. Just too big to eat any other way. I considered saving the other half and taking it home so even went as far as finishing the French frys. They were a bit slow on refilling my drink to the point I wondered if that was something they did there, But then she came out from behind the bar with a fresh glass of coke for me. I felt better so dove into the other half of the burger and finished it all. Well done guys...after all these years.

They'll be overwhelmed if it's busy; so, slow service but I still give 5 stars. It's hard to find good mex while traveling (from LA); try the Molé or enchiladas (great sauces!).
This place is the epitome of HOLE IN THE WALL restaurant. Tiny. Dive. And the BEST authentic Mexican food around. I occasionally crave their food and the 30-minute drive from my house is well worth it. Others have suggested not to dine in. Why?! It might be tiny, and it might NOT be modern but it's always clean. Highly recommend their tacos on the soft corn tortillas.
No frills, food authentic and very tasty (especially the guacamole). No alcohol served. Unfortunately both of us had stomach issues after eating there. Disappointed, as would like to go back, but not going to happen.

The food here is excellent. Large portions that won't break the bank. I am not sure what kind of coffee they use, but it is very good! I have tried a few different omelettes here, and I think the Lorraine is my favorite (ham, swiss cheese, onion and hashbrowns). Service here is okay. Refills are slow at times, but that could be because of all of the phone in orders they receive. Love stopping here before work for some good food and coffee. One of our favorite breakfast spots.
I've been to Bryan's a few more times since my first review. Today, I got in right away, without having to wait at all. I still really like the hometown feel of Bryan's; people are friendly and many seem to know each other. They also seem to have switched brands of coffee, and it's really good. It almost takes like there's a hint of chocolate in it, although the server assured me there's not. She said it's Pontiac coffee. I've never seen that brand, but if it's all like this, I'm a fan. They seem to have changed the menu; it's not quite as big as it was, and prices have gone up a little, but they're still more than reasonable. The food is still good and plentiful -- enough to get 2 meals from. I probably shouldn't say that it's definitely a place worth visiting, as that will make longer lines, but....it is a place worth visiting. ;)
Cheap prices, big portions, I decided to go here with my family today for breakfast and man im so glad I did. I was a little sketchy about this place, till i seen how packed the parking lot was! The full plate of blueberry pancakes hit the spot !

When I lived in Waterford, this was my go-to place for pizza. I loved the basic pepperoni and cheese. At the time there was a deal where you get a small one topping pizza and an antipasto salad for $8. Totally worth it, if for no other reason than for the dressing on the antipasto salad. Totally delish! The breadsticks were awesome. The bubble bread was a little strange. Like Texas toast with Alfredo sauce and mozzarella melted on it. Not my cup of tea, but worth a try.
I love this place! I absolutely hate Waterford and I hate coming out this way but when I have to for business, I make up any excuse to come here to get slices for lunch. That's all I've ever had and I am so happy I gave this place a try. Been here about 4 times now and the service is always absolutely excellent the people are really nice, slices are hot and fresh and that duck rub is some kind of Creole seasoning spices that I can't seem to live without now.
I've ate this pizza twice and enjoyed it both times. The then crust is the way to go here. Very original toppings on there specialty pizzas. Worth a whirl for sure. Lucky duck always reminds me of the movie Howard the duck.. Great movie from my childhood. Oops I got off track...lol.

This is one of the best Taco Bells I have been to. Staff is friendly, food is always fresh, and restaurant is relatively clean.
The restaurant wasn't clean and there was a hairball in the trash can. The service was ok and the burrito I had was good. Overall this was an average Taco Bell.
By far... The best Taco Bell I've ever had. Don't walk... run to the border of Elizabeth Lake and Telegraph while this gem is still doing it right!
