I FINALLY found a sandwich shop that sells a pastrami sandwich! I am definitely coming back.

Love love love the meatball sub with sweet and spicy sauce. It's the best I've ever had. People there are friendly and I love supporting the fire fighters by rounding up. Try it! See if you agree!

Excellent subs. The bread is so much better when you dine in but take out is good too.

Had a grilled chicken sub with bacon and provolone on wheat bread. My first Firehouse experience was a good one as this side exemplified freshness. The bread is definitely the star of the sandwich, but Firehouse is sure to be generous with the ingredients.

Must say with all the sub places out there i just was not impressed got the Italian and bread was soggy and not much flavor in the bread. Nothing special in my opinion. Will not go back. To each there own....

Excellent hot subs. We've tried The turkey and cheese, the New York steamer, the Italian, and the meatball sub. Clean, kid-friendly, and delicious! They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, and their brownies are yummy as well. We've been here twice this week... And we don't normally go to the same place twice in a month. Beats Jimmy Johns and Subway by a mile! Plus kid's meals come with a plastic fire hat. What's not to like?

We really enjoyed this place on vacation and we're happy to see one popped up near the house. We stopped in and while it wasn't quite as tasty as I remember, it was still pretty darn good. The Firehouse Hero is my favorite here so far. The hot sauce selection is very good as well. Very friendly staff and love the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine too.

One of the best subs in the area. Always good service and the go that extra mile for customer satisfaction.

Decent chain sub shop. Nothing I've had there so far was exceptional, but nothing was bad either. It is a nice option to mix in with the Subways, Jimmy John's, and Quiznos of the world. I really dislike the half assed group hello you get and they tend to be kind of slow, but I like that they take care of our first responders with free drinks and collection jar matches. Good to see a place that tries to give a little back to the community it exists in.

Pretty good subs. Thought the prices were a little high for the size sandwich I got. Pretty thin sandwiches.

Real soggy if your a veggie eater. Steamed subs are not good! Also , since when is $2.00 extra for mushrooms on a VEGGIE sub reasonable? I mean, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese is it, so just give the damn shrooms already!

One of my favorite lunch spots. Not only are the subs great but they have a nice supply of hot sauces to compliment your sub. I've been to this location about a dozen times and the staff is ALWAYS very friendly. The only tough call is I never know what kind of pop combination to make because they have one of those fountain machines where you can pick the pop and different flavors.

They were super friendly and my roast beef sub was super tasty. Plus they had a coca cola mix machine (I loooove diet sprite strawberry and cherry, don't judge me). Yum yum.

Stopped in and grabbed a "Hero" sub. My girlfriend got the turkey and both of us agree they are good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Captain Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot sauce is terribly addicting (in a good way). All in all I'll definitely go again. Plus it helps out the firemen. Win win

Interesting new sub shop in Waterford. Loved the sub with corned beef and pastrami. New Coca Cola machine with a 100 flavors is cool.We came in the middle of the Saturday lunch rush,so had to wait a little to get our food, but it was worse it .

Great place Clean cool restaurant with pleasant welcoming staff, was nice to walk in with kids and get greeted genuinely in happiness. Stroller no problem! Decor awesome filled with genuine firehouse articles that the kids loved. Food solid from a clean open to see kitchen with happy to customize crew! Selection of 30 spicy sauces from all over to try for those who are not yellow Cost inexpensive without a cheap feel! Would visit again .

Staff is friendly and place is awesome but the main reason to go is the subs....maybe dine in ia bettet but carryout sucks. You get home with a soggy bun. And that soggy bun ruins anything that wouldve been good to great

Pros: Great selection of hot sauces, including some real bona fide ones that will hurt you. Clean place, brightly lit, cool decor. Cons: Absolutely the worst cheese steak sub I've ever had. Eating it was like eating shredded shoe leather. Non-existent cheese and one of the spongiest, soggy buns I've ever encountered in a sub shop. I should have bought some Great Value microwave cheese steaks subs from Walmart for dinner. In fact, the buns alone turned me off from every wanting to try any other sub from this place regardless of the quality of the other offerings. If you don't have a flat grill, you have no business offering cheese steaks on your menu. Carry on Waterford with your chain-driven, underwhelming culinary wasteland of crap food.

I keep on going back and forth between 2 stars and 3 stars. The sub was OK, but then again it just wasn't really good at all. I had no idea what to expect, but when I see and hear the name "Firehouse" subs, i think about flames and crispiness and intensity. Thing is, you won't experience any flames here and all that's toasted is the bread. This whole steam-thing just doesn't sit right with me. I get it what the intent is, but it truly misses the mark. It creates this issue where you need to balance tenderness and juiciness versus sogginess and blandness. I would much prefer to have a cold sub. I had the New York Steamer with corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. In my case, the flavors did not open up at all. It's not offensive, but it's not amazing either - I'll pass.
