Our second time! Great service, great food and great wine! Half off bottles on Thursday evening!

Upon arrival, overheard one server say to another server that they were unhappy that we showed up "so late" (It was 45 minutes until close, and we are very good about leaving enough time to eat to get out before closing time). Not a good start. VERY unprofessional. Ordered the chicken shwarma pita, appetizer beef kibbee, and the soup/salad combo (fattoush/whole lentil). a Our server did not bring us any bread. Which was very good when we finally got some (another server noticed we didn't have any). Shwarma pita was good. 8/10 Wrong lentil soup was served, but it was good. 7/10 Beef kibbee was very good, but only 4 pieces for $9!!! That was just sad, and it soured my whole experience. Taste 8/10 Amount 3/10 Probably won't return.

O I love this place!!! The staff here is very welcoming even when I bring in my kids. They are so sweet. I cant say enough about the great service. I love the food Ive ordered, and they never have a problem making it to my specifications. One time I was waiting for my carry out up at the bar, and one waitress gave me fresh warm bread and dip while I wait. At No charge. The bread was amazing I asked for a dozen! Just amazing service, and great food!!!

Amazing tabbouleh...fresh, hot pita; good hummus. Found this place by accident (was going to get some commercialized "Chinese" at Pei Wei) and I'm wishing I didn't live/work so far away!! Must try!

Great service. Great food. Nice people. Twook kabob is delicious and I love the spicy hummus. My friend had the lamb and thought it was great. Service was wonderful. Don't let the strip mall location fool you! The FOOD IS YUMMY. Have been here twice and I would eat here every night if I could. GREAT, and reasonably priced as well.

As someone who has celiac, I was impressed by their decent gluten-free menu. My food was delicious and I did not get sick after! The wait staff, while pleasant, does not seem very educated on gluten-free food, and basic questions about the preparation confused them. Usually if I'm paying mid-range prices at a restaurant that has an actual gluten-free menu I expect a little more knowledge from my waitress. For that reason I give it 4 stars. However, I was fine after eating here so clearly the cooking staff knows what they're doing!

It was towards the end of a long day of shopping and errands when I stumbled on 2Booli. My last stop was going to be Nordstrom Rack. I was tired, frustrated, hungry, and thirsty. 2Booli to the rescue! I sat at the bar and ordered up a beer while I relaxed and watched baseball on one of their big screen TVs. I ate a chicken tawook sandwich with a side of tabouli. I Felt ready to tackle more shopping! The service was very friendly, the decor is sharp, and the restaurant was very clean. The tabouli wasn't my favorite (That would be Mr Kabob's) but the tawook sandwich was perfect! Tender, juicy chicken, yummy pickles, and delicious garlic sauce In a toasted pita. Mmmmm...I want another one right now. And to wash all of this down with a beer really hit the spot!

I had the Beef Shawarma. It was marinated with a good amount of curry. The sauce to put on it was very good addition to the beef! I love the decor, too!! So pretty inside!

2booli is fantastic. I seriously think I come twice a week. It's reasonable prices. Great food. Friendly staff. And they bring hot, fresh bread to the table. Try not to fill up on the bread. I usually get the Chicken Shawarma Pita and get a cup of the whole lentil soup as the side. Seriously to die for. Only Lebanese food I will eat!

Extremely dirty glass, bad start. Not fresh bread, keeping it below average. Lentil soup was just OK. Chicken Kafta was just OK. Service was just OK, though the manager was very attentive. Decor was nice.

Eh, it's not REALLY a middle eastern restaurant. No raw kibbe? Grape Leaves are beef instead of lamb? Meat pies are beef instead of lamb? I'm sorry, but 2booli is as much middle eastern as the olive garden is Italian. You'd be better off finding yourself a real middle eastern restaurant which is local to you.

You've got to credit 2Booli with courage. Placing a Mediterranean restaurant halfway between Lebanese Grill and La Marsa shows confidence. A walk inside reveals an somewhat elegant room that sets it apart from many other Middle Eastern restaurants. It boasts a wine list. The food, however, is pretty unremarkable. Hommus, mjadara, baba ghannouj, tabbouleh and crushed lentil soup are all recognizable but pedestrian. This could suffice in a little neighborhood joint or an area with a paucity of other choices but neither applies in this case. Perhaps 2Booli is not meant for me and other longtime partisans of Middle Eastern cuisine. Maybe it's supposed to be a smooth jazz version of the food. Like the music, it seems to emphasize style over substance. An old friend whose Dad owned a Chinese restaurant once told me that a good eatery will spend its money and effort in the kitchen before it spends it in the dining room. 2Booli would do well to heed that advice if it wants to lure me from the competition down the street.

Good food, great atmosphere and service was great. Our waitress was super attentive but our food took forever. Other people came in, sat down, ordered, and got their food way before us. Waitress apologized - so did the manager. When the bill came, they gave us a discount because we honestly did wait way too long. That's how it should be done!

After treating myself to some Total Hockey shopping, I decided that a falafel sandwich and some lentil soup were in order. A few buildings down BB rests this stop, and ive been wanting to try it for a while now. Service was very quick and friendly, and someone was always making sure I had all the water and bread I needed. first up was the lentil soup. It was really good, dropped some extra lemon in it, definitely the star of this day, although not the best ive ever had. secondly the rice, also very good and moist with no dried or hard chunks. youd think it pretty hard to mess up the rice but some places do, they dont here. Lastly the falafel. the sandwich itself was kinda meh, alright. the biggest thing for me was the falafel had no crisp to it, and I like crispy falafel outter shells. It made the texture pretty uniform. Also the pickles were lacking in it. I just really couldnt get into the falafel, but I didnt hate it either. Overall this review is more like a 3.5 than a 4, but i bumped it up due to the service and the other food components. I wasnt upset with my lunch choice, but i did drive down big beaver and exclaim to myself "sh*t, they put a Sy Thai up here?* when i drove past it.

Totally thought this was going to be a fast-casual restaurant. Turns out its sit down... And pretty classy at that... At least for middle eastern. Full bar too. Went at 730 on a Friday... Expected packed... Almost empty. Well... There were about 20 customers total but place looks like it seats over 150 (with patio). Really nice on inside. Server was a rookie. She was nice, but she didn't know the 4 beers on tap, and I asked for a side of garlic sauce twice... Neither of which produced garlic sauce Crushed lentil soup was tasty... Though not crushed. Those lentils were blended to oblivion! Had the trio (hummus, bg, 2bouli). All tasty (especially the baba which I'm usually not a huge fan of). And the bread is super fresh (don't burn yourself!). For mains, I had chicken shwarma and the wifey had beef kafta, both with rice pilaf. Rice was great. But I had the same issue with both of our mains. After a couple seconds of chewing, all you could taste is the char of the grill. It was very overpowering and not very pleasant. I love shwarma because it beautifully blends its flavors together... But the char just took over. Kafta is usually packed full of flavor... But this one seemed on the bland side, and what little flavor there was got lost in the char taste. They made everything fresh... Which is big for me. But between the lackluster service and the taste of anything off that grill... This place that could have been a 5 star drops to 3. I would like to try it again... But I have to figure out what doesn't come off the grill. Grape leaves maybe?

Kind of a bummer, no power at my first visit. I know it's not the waitresses fault, but the manager or someone could have apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, we were told that they are only finishing up orders already placed. Part of our appetizer was delivered, but no water. We asked s couple times because the restaurant was quickly heating up. The waitress kept us waiting an extremely long time. Waiting on our check. Was ready just to get up and walk out since we didn't get to have lunch. I think it was poorly handled all around. Finally the manager did show up and took care of the bill for the app and made it right. I may come back to try again.

On the high end of reasonably priced, 2Booli is a new mediterranean joint located in one of the newer strip malls in Troy. It's generally "okay" though nothing struck me as amazing, in the food department. Their grape leaves are competent and the rest is pretty simple and good also. HOWEVER. They have some kind of berry lemonade that is outstanding. Serious credit on that alone. I'd go back for that, alone. Service is decent, maybe unremarkable but that's not necessarily bad. It was quick enough, and unobtrusive. If you like this kind of cuisine, it's worth looking into. Maybe there's better out there, but I haven't found it yet.

My dinning companion and I stopped in for lunch today. I like the decor. The open and airy atmosphere would seem to make it a great place for happy hour. My companion had a Greek salad that she enjoyed. I had a margarita and the lamb pita. The bartenders customer service was excellent but if you're going to advertise drink specials on your sandwich board you should have the best ones in town. The pita was tasty although I would cut the lamb into smaller pieces since this type of meat is generally a little tougher and you don't want to fight with your meal. Overall, I'll go back and try some of the other items on the menu before making a final decision.

My family visited here on a blustery thur evening in May (just felt like saying that, no reflection on the review;-) for my brother's birthday. We had reserved ahead for about 10 of us. As I quote my brother's tip I was "blown away by the atmosphere". This place is very nice. From the decor with the canvased art on the walls to the cute jade-colored sinks in the ladies room, I found this place to be absolutely adorable. From the outside, it does have a strip-mall/take-out joint appearance, but dont let that be a deterrent, step inside... Our waitress was truly a doll and had a different endearing knickname for each of us as she took out order. I had grilled salmon with rice pilaf and was a tad bit repulsed to discover almonds on my rice when the order arrived. I was just gonna scoop them off, but my family informed the waitress and she insisted that she bring me another. She in no-time returned my salmon and rice on a clean plate almond-free :-) Everyone enjoyed their food. My salmon was perfect, not a single area that was burned/too crisp. They started us out with the complimentary appetizer of seemingly unlimited (& might I add extremely fresh;) hot bread/pita bread and hummus during the wait. The place was kind of empty on the day that we visited, but it has such a spacious lay-out that even when it's packed I can't imagine that it detracts from the casual and welcoming ambiance. Another thing that I appreciated was that she automatically provided individual tabs for each person (even the kids), that way we could easily collect whichever tab we were covering without the bother of splitting the reciept ourselves or asking her . I can't wait to return!

Food wasn't that great and neither was service. Bottom line service was really bad. I went out with my family. Our server came and when we asked her what is in each of the dishes she told us "I don't know" she didn't even tell us if she was new or not. She was really slow. She wouldn't check up on us like a server is supposed to. Then when the bill came she wouldn't even let us finish the food and she kept checking on us. Like where were you when you were supposed to check on us? Anyways the place is very nice, but it all depends on satisfying service and at least somewhat good food.

This place was ok, but it just seemed like a very liquified version of Middle Eastern cuisine. The spicy hommus was great. If you like a little liveliness to your chicken schwarma, this isn't the place to get it. Very bland. The garlic sauce was very tame as well. The beef kafta was a bit on the dry side, but was ok. The dessert was the best - we got the combo dessert and it was great! The waiter wasn't very informed. While we waited for him to get us silverware after asking a few times, we saw him roll his eyes at the request from the table next to us when they didn't want their appetizer and entrees served together. Not quite a reason to roll one's eyes I would think? Anyway, if you like the spicier version of Middle Eastern food, this isn't it. Tamer and subdued? This is the place.

Their food was pretty decent, but they gave close to nothing in portion. Especially for the prices! The thing that threw me off the most though was the service. The host was wonderful, but the waitress.. Not so much. She was so off her game, two other gals waiting on other tables had to come and service us. Who are we tipping?!

I've eaten here several times both dine in and carry out. I've enjoyed the mjedara both the entree and as a sandwich. The hummus and baba ghannouj are as good as I've had anywhere. The service is very good with prompt refills on drinks and water. Servers are friendly and attentive. I've never been there when more than 3 or 4 tables are seated. I particularly enjoy this peaceful atmosphere.

Great food. The whole lentil soup is awesome. The Troy location at Big Beaver and Rochester Rd. is very convenient.

I went to 2booli's several times for lunch. Food is good but service was ehhhhh. A few months ago I was there and ordered a fresh juice. I waited and waited & finally asked the server where my juice was. I was as sitting next to the bar so I heard the server ask the guy behind the bar making the juices where my juice was. His response... He spun around and yelled at my server "you guys are killing me with all these stupid juices!!" I instantly stood up and said forget the juice and give me my check. No one apologized or did anything to make a bad situation better - how sad for the management. It took me about 4 months to get over that experience and give them another try ( they are right by my office and super convenient for me for lunch). I was seated, someone got me an ice tea and said my server will be over. I sat for 14 min. - no one came over. I was on my lunch hour. I got up and walked out. Guess what... No one cared.

2Booli isn't really in my neck of the woods, but I ended up here after being invited by a friend who had the world's best coupon. The interior was clean and attractive. It was much less busy than I anticipated for a Sunday afternoon, though there was a large group/party in the back. We received bread and upon request, garlic butter while making our choices. I chose a falafel wrap, my friend got something from their lunch menu with shrimp, and we both got whole lentil soup. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the soup! Our waitress was extremely attentive and very polite. Honestly, my experience was really enjoyable. If it weren't so far away from where I lived, I could see myself frequenting this place. They also have a location in Farmington, which also isn't all that close to home. I'll be coming back here again next time I'm in the area!

I didn't care for 2Booli at all. With so many really great Mediterrranean places in and around the area, I doubt I would ever go back here. When I want Mediterranean, I want Mediterranean...not some half baked attempt at it. First off, our server, along with our drinks, brought us a basket of bread...with a little container of oil...hm...okay...my sister asked for some garlic sauce, and our server brought us a teeny, tiny ramekin filled with the sauce. We were joking that it was so small, so my friend asked our server if she too could have one, because it seriously looked like a single dose for one person. Our server obliged, but only after telling us, that what she had brought before was for the table...haha....shut it! We all got sandwhiches...two falaffel pitas, one with a spicy slaw, one with fries... I got my traditional chicken shawarma, with the spicy slaw. The others like their sammys, I however, didn't care for mine at all. The slaw is placed on a large leaf on the same plate as the sandwhich, and this pretty much renders your wrap a wet, sloppy, soggy mess. Ick! My shawarma had no wonderful pickeled vegetables on it, only chicken...with some of the garlic spread.... Oh wait, I did have one pickle type thing that slithered out of the wet mess. The garlic sauce wasn't anything special either...in fact, it appeared to be breaking down as it sat at our table. You could see the oil leeching out from the garlicky paste. I don't know if this is a sign that it is not fresh (my take) or that it was prepared incorrectly... It was not good though... My whole experience was very ho-hum at 2Booli, and like I said up there...too many other fabulous Mediterranean places to sink my chops in to, before I'd ever go here again. THE ONLY thing that saves this place, and would maybe have be coming back is they do serve alcohol here... No other Mediterranean place does, and honestly, it's not that big of deal...so yeah...probably still not...

Awesome! Good service, excellent Lebanese food and nice atmosphere. I agree with Terry K., this restaurant does not get enough credit. The food is consisently good, and the bread and garlic sauce, which you have to ask for, is soooo good! The crushed lentil soup is so tasty! They give you enormous portions, and after you fill up on bread and garlic, you usually take most of the dinner home. Good Bloody Marys too. Went to 2 family dinners here recently, and my only complaint is that both times they messed up our bills. No biggie though!

I have zero complaints about anything here! My favorite dish is the Spicy Chicken Ghallaba. I never go here without getting the spicy hummus as well. Fresh pita bread as soon as you're seated. Fast and friendly service. Very clean and open on the inside. I'm a regular here and I don't see that changing. :)

I'm a big fan of middle eastern food and this place is tasty. The place is kind of cool inside with modern ambience. The chic bar has a couple of flat screens too.

We loved the servers, service, food ambience everything here. We had tawuk kabobs with rice pilaf and grilled veggies, it was very tasty. This was our second visit to this place. Food here and their service made us visit it again. Go for lunch menus if you do not want to pack food for home.

After doing some phone calling, we found out that 2Booli does not use peanut oil in their meat marinades like other Middle Eastern restaurants do in that area. You know, allergies and such. So we stopped in. We arrived post lunch and predinner to find an empty restaurant. Cool because to me, the service should be better, I don't feel rushed and overall I enjoy my meal better. 2Booli did not disappoint. We ordered a 2-person appetizer for four of us to share. It had majadra, hommous, cru di te, baba ghannouj a scoop of tabouli salad and two falafal. The untrained eye will confuse the hommous with the baba ghanouj as they almost look identical here. However, the baba ghanouj tastes funky and I did not enjoy it at all bringing me to the conclusion that I either don't like baba ghanouj (from an previous experience elsewhere) or they don't make it right. Hard to say. The falafal were a little overdone and the centers were a touch dry and the hommous could use a bit of garlic and was kind of bland. Further, we ordered the Combo Platter for 2 to share for four people. More than enough for two adults and two children to share. Comes with chicken and beef kabobs, beef kafta, rice, dolmas, a couple of vegetables, and soup or salad. I chose the pureed lentil soup. Piping hot but lacking any identifiable flavor. Perhaps too processed and under seasoned. The meats were all cooked to our liking and delicious. Beef kabobs were a table favorite. The kafta are basically hamburgers. Split a pita open, add kafta and instant hamburger. Oh, btw, the bread was better here than at places like Mezza or Lebanese Grill--much better. With nut allergies, there is little cross contamination here. Pine nuts and almonds are used but not in the cooking process. They are added to the rice and hommous at the end. Our waitress made sure that the cooks took necessary measures to keep us safe. Thank you and we'll definitely be back.

This used to be my favorite restaurant for Middle Eastern food in the area. The food and service were both outstanding. It has gone downhill significantly. The last time we were there we watched the server drop food on the floor while bringing it out of the kitchen, put it back on the plate, and serve it to the customer. We walked out on the spot. The old manager left some time ago to help start a new restaurant for the owner, since then this place has fallen apart.

Never disappointed! I love the food the bread is made fresh every day and baked in the oven and goes great with their fresh made garlic! The chicken Caesar wrap is always amazing! And the lemon oregano chicken is seriously the best! My two top servers I recommend asking for when your there is Ashley! Or Stephen! They are great and will provide awesome service the food is so good and tasteful I love getting carry out from here!

I really enjoyed the decor in this restaurant although I'm not so sure of it looking "authentic". They were absolutely dead at dinner time on the Wednesday that my boyfriend and I went - which was great to choose wherever we wanted to sit. Thankfully, they had TVs to display sports games for him. The bread here is really great when it first came out; however it went to crispy and not great in less than 5 minutes. The whole lentil soup was too lemony but the crushed lentil soup was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken kafta entree as well as their baba ganoush. Portions are GENEROUS.

My experience here started and ended pretty poorly. Walking into the restaurant, you would expect to see a hostess waiting to seat people, but all that could be seen were employees chatting around the bar area, and one person cleaning a table. I thought they hadn't opened yet because no customers were visible. After a few awkward seconds of wondering if I was in the right place, the hostess came to seat us. As for food, don't expect authentic middle eastern food. I went with my boyfriend who is Saudi and we were both underwhelmed. Although the chicken shawarma was juicy and tender and the tawook was also tasty, everything else was subpar. You'd at least expect the hummus to be palatable... A tart, store-bought tasting mess. Their freshly baked bread is clearly freshly baked, but the dough used to make doesn't taste freshly made. Also crushed lentil soup should look like crushed lentils: a little lumpy and chunky. When I received the soup I thought it was a cup of honey mustard. Smooth and runny. Service was also disappointing. When we needed more bread, our waitress was no where to be found. And when she did come by, she didn't offer the bread after seeing a very clearly empty bread bowl, we had to ask before she walked away again. Unfortunately even then, she didn't rush to bring us the bread but took the order of a large table first... After we received all of our food, she asked us if we were okay 3 times in the span of 5 minutes. Just a very inexperienced server. All in all, will not return. Maybe for take away.

2Booli doesn't get enough credit around these parts. They have a busy lunch rush but after that, I never see it filled to capacity. I think I'd feel more comfortable if they were a little busier during dinner because I believe they do an excellent job serving their customers. It's bewildering as they're in a highly frequented plaza that includes Nordstrom Rack which always has that perfect shirt in the wrong size. I've been here at least 10-11 times and have yet to be disappointed with anything served to me. I adore how their garlic paste has a zesty kick to it unlike anywhere else. I'm an admitted sucker for restaurants that give you something to munch on before ordering but 2booli kicks it up a notch with their fresh baked pita bread. One thing I struggle with is that they have a lot of combo's that offer fries and I find it hard not to order them. I'm pretty sure my caloric and carbohydrate consumption by the time I'm done here is well into the thousands. Big fan of their crushed lentil soup and I typically go with their chicken shish tawook sandwich. It's probably 3/4 of the size of your average tawook from other middle eastern restaurants but the chicken is marinated very well and it's never fatty. I need to start going there during happy hour to officially hold the flag for 2booli. They have some of the friendliest servers in town and the build out is insane. It's definitely a plus having them in the area.

Found this while visiting from out of town. Checked it out on Yelp and decided to try it. We ate lunch. Over all : excellent food. The spicy hummus was perhaps the best I have ever had. Perfect texture and flavor. The deboned chicken was great. The puréed lentil soup was wonderful. Portions were generous. I highly recommend this for lunch and wish we were staying longer so we could have supper because the menu looks great.

I'm giving this place a solid three stars. The inside is cozy but not completely over-emphasizes the Middle Eastern vibe. It's almost like Middle Eastern for the average Joe, which is fine. Our server was nice and brought out tons of the pita bread, and she gave us ample time to look through the menu and didn't rush us. What was strange, however, was when she said certain items on the menu (like the whole lentil soup) sucked. Geez, I know honesty is appreciated but you shouldn't say an item(s) on the menu sucks. That's not a good way to make money, either. Also, everyone received their pre-meal soups and salads except ...me. Yeah, I got a fattoush salad and it never came out. The table of six of us were conversing and I didn't really realize until the entrees showed up -- yeah, entrees came out before my salad came out -- that I was the only one waiting on something. I told the waitress and she said, "Hm, that's weird." So she comes back with the salad and said, "No wonder we had one salad sitting there in the back" and gives it to me. I wonder why she couldn't originally put two and two together, and it's a pet peeve receiving my salad with my entree. As far as the taste of the salad, it was okay. It wasn't anything special. The dressing could have been a little better, although the pita chips in the salad were very good. Other salad options were Greek and Caesar, but being at a Middle Eastern place I wanted to try the fattoush. Don't know if I would get it again. We also ordered a hummus appetizer, which was just alright. I've had better, that's for sure. I've had better store-bought hummus too. The pita rolls were fresh and tasted good, though. Try them with the olive oil. As for the entree, I ordered the chicken shwarma. It came with white rice and fresh veggies. The veggies -- peppers, squash, carrots -- were good. The schwarma is not a pita but rather rice next to strips of chicken, and they give you garlic sauce with it. The garlic could have been better overall but it was satisfactory. The chicken was really good and it was a plentiful plate of food. I liked it and ate the whole thing. There were three couples eating so we were splitting the meal three ways, but the waitress brought out one check even though she knew it was being split. It was a cluster, all of us adding and subtracting what we ordered and what not. Just give us three damn checks and call it a day! The waitress just didn't seem all that enthusiastic to be working there, like she had better things to do. I understand that, to a certain degree. But she was there, serving us, and was careless and ripping on the place's food that she is serving to patrons. I've never been a server but I would imagine that's in Restaurant 101. The food is a little pricey, too. My shwarma was $16 (entree + soup/salad) ...I guess if you factor in a salad at other places that have $10 or $11 menu items it all comes out the same with how much salad costs extra. So, three stars when you factor in the entire experience. I don't think it's too much for a server to realize when someone is missing their salad, or to not call your own food shitty or not know the beers served on draft (which were like three or four beers anyway). Was worth trying but I don't know if I would come back.

Third visit review. Stopped in on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. We were greeted at the hostess desk by the friendly manager and served by equally sweet/friendly waitress. This time around I ordered chicken tawook with a Greek salad and a bottle of Merlot. (Half-off bottles of wine on Thursday & they re-cork the bottle of you want to take any home) Wine was fantastic. Salad was fresh, bright and tasty. Pita bread wasn't bad-- it didn't taste hot out of the oven/overall kind of bland. I didn't have the desire to devour it with the lemon/garlic like I usually do. Tawook arrived-- nice flavor. Juicy. But the rice had zero flavor and was mushy. Eww. My grilled vegetables were less than stellar-- arriving almost raw. I love grilled veggies so I was a little bummed out. Two stars. One star for being seated quickly/service. One star for the wine & salad.

I went there for dinner and it wasn't too busy and was seated immediately. I ordered a chicken sharwama wrap with fries as my girlfriend ordered a chicken sharwma with rice as well as their lentil soup. The soup was very good. Their bread which is made in house was just ok and was nothing really special. The wraps were very basic on store bought bread. The wrap was ok but really didn't have much to it except their garlic spread and one small pickle. The fries were very good and the rice was excellent. Their prices for their sandwiches were good. This would be a great place for lunch. Prices for dinner plate were on the higher side. Overall, their sides were very good, their wraps were ok, and pricing was good for lunch.

It's a shame to rate this place so low because the food is actually very good. Crushed lentil soup and the beef with hummus was delicious. What killed the experience was the service. I came in on a Monday afternoon around 430. I understand shift change was going on but I was ignored most of the time. The waitress/bartender had what seemed to be a huge attitude and chip on her shoulder. I feel bad for her because I think the attitude was because she was so slammed with customers and nobody was helping her including employees eating at a table near by and the grumpy blonde manager.

I love the Chicken Shawarma pita and the beef chilli... OMG! I have only eaten here twice, but I live in California and now this is one of those places I have to eat at when I arrive. Try it, you will fall in love with the food and servers!

Me and my dad both got horrible food poisoning. Would not recommend. The food is so blah and obviously not kept to cooking standards.

I feel bad. I feel really really bad. Today I must come clean and confess that I cheated. When it comes to Lebanese food I ALWAYS go to Sahara on Harper in Saint Claire Shores. Best in the Metro Detroit area, nay entire State of Michigan when it comes to Middle Eastern/Lebanese food. I was tired of the usual burger and fries or sub/sandwich for lunch and I am trying to eat healthier so I looked around for options near my office. Now if I could have gotten all the way to Sahara and back in an hour I would have, but that didn't seem possible and 2booli was just around the corner. The decor is nice and I like that they have a full bar even though I didn't partake. I ended up getting what I usually get at these types of places which is Chicken Shawarma. The lunch portion was decent in size and filled me up and it came with rice and grilled vegetables. The rice was your everyday run of the mill Pilaf. Nothing fancy, nothing special. The veg that they offered had decent flavor, but were practically raw. I had visions of Gordon Ramsey picking up the plate, slamming it the trash and screaming "IT'S RAW!!!!" Essentially they brushed some oil on them, hit them with some herbs and tossed them on a grill for all of a minute or two tops. The carrots still had a very crisp bite to them and required a knife to cut. The same went for the squash and zucchini. One of my favorite parts of this kind of cuisine is the garlic sauce. I wanna be able to smell it seeping from my pours an hour after I am done. That's how you know you got the good stuff. There's had that punch, but it wasn't very good. It tasted bitter almost as if it was starting to turn, if that's even possible. It might have as the other person who joined me was in the bathroom multiple times after we finished. I was pretty "pungent" myself if you catch my drift. All I can say is that God they were SBD. The Hummus we ordered was good. They throw a whole bunch of extra garnish "garbage" on it though which was unnecessary. What is the point in wasting an entire lemon just to make a fancy flower for the plate? Food costs people! Keep them down which will keep your prices down and in turn customers happy. I will admit I did use the lemon (waste not want not) and gave it a little squirt of extra flavor. The same could have been achieved with a simple wedge though. The service was good. Our drinks were always full and the food came out in a timely manner which was nice seeing as my time was limited for lunch. I'd like to say I'd come back and give it another go, but I just can't do that to Sammy (Sahara) again. Plus I would like to not stink out my colleagues for the second half of the work day after I return. Sorry boys...

Great service... Great portions. Had a gluten free menu and were very cautious and aware of cross contamination. Also they have veggie juice :) wish it was a ail able with greens, but it did the job

All I have have to say is they put feta cheese in my fattoush salad. Let that sink in...

My first time dining at this restaurant, quite disappointed with the chicken gallabah recipe. The entree included fresh vegetables but lacked herbal flavors. The entree was tossed with a skim tomato sauce that tasted like marinara.

Had the pleasure of going in to 2Booli this evening for their soft opening. The place is very nice - decor is unique without being over the top and the menu provides a good selection without being overwhelming. The staff was very pleasant and the management was VERY present, regularly coming around to check on the tables. No complaints on service - everyone was very pleasant given that they were working out the kinks. I had a lamb pita - which was VERY good. The lamb was a bit chewy... but it's lamb. BUT it was incredibly flavorful, so some of the chewiness was easy to look past. I was very pleased with what I ordered! I also tried their spicy coleslaw, which was tasty but nothing to write home about. I also had the opportunity of trying a few other menu items. The beef kafta entree was very flavorful and (from what I was told) the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Both the crushed and whole lentil soups were very good - though I have to say I preferred the crushed lentil soup. As far as fattoush salads go, I personally wasn't impressed with their dressing... but I like a really vinegar-ie bite in fattoush dressing. The salad was dressed very well, and the hommus and pita was very good as well. Head over if you get a chance!!! Tasty stuff!!!

I went there the other day because my favorite Mediterranean was not open. The wait staff was nice, but not very attentive. There was a kid's menu, but very Americanized. Nothing for a little one looking to try Mediterranean food. The pita bread was not soft and delicious once it became room temperature, it was crumbly and gross. The soup was not crushed lentil soup, more of a blender soup. I have been to every other Mediterranean place in the area, and they are more authentic and have more to choose from. This place was made bland and gross for people afraid to taste outside of their comfort zone.

This place is very clean and the staff are friendly! Food is delicious, however, it does take a while to get your food. Their pita bread and garlic sauce are amazing too! Love the shish tawook pita!

This places is good! Their staff is friendly, the food is excellent and their lunch specials are a great deal! They are really good at bringing out more bread too and quickly, unlike some places. I would highly recommend this place over La Marsa or any of the others!

First time to 2booli's. it was a very pleasant experience. The manager came over to check as did the waitress. The lentil soup was great and the blackened salmon was one of the best I ever had. Meal was reasonable priced in my opinion. Would go back again.

We really enjoyed this place! The location might be a bit of a challenge for a new restuant, but if they keep up the good food and service I am sure they will do well. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich with a side of hummus, it tasted great and the portion was excellent. The best part is the price was very reasonable, all I can say is we will be back!

I have never written a review before so I hope I give as much detail as you might want. I have been to 2booli at least once a week since they opened. I have yet to tire from this place and I try something different almost every time. The ambiance is clean and contemporary. Love it! I have had the beef grape leaves, chicken shawarma, greek salad, freshly made apple juice, just to mention a few. Everything is so fresh. Not overly seasoned. Not under searsoned. Their greek dressing is AWESOME! The freshly made bread comes right from the oven and is delicious. I am VERY particular about crushed lentil soup and grape leaves. I am over the moon pleased here! The portions are more than enough for one person. I always have plenty to take home. The manager Cory comes to each table every time I have been there at dinner time to make sure you are enjoying your meal. He is the reason I decided to sign up here and review as talking to him I found out how much they depend on reviews on sites like this. I hate to bash but I am going to be honest. I have NEVER likes the Lebanese Grill. La Marsa was always a place I would eat once in awhile to get a fix because there are no Pita Cafes right near me. 2booli has won me over and I will never eat La Marsa again after dining here the last almost 2 months. Thank you for opening in Troy!!!

Whole lentil soup was a little wattery. Not sure what the rave is about. The crushed lentil is not crushed, its blended in a blender. I would prefer it if it had some chuckyness to it. Soup was was to smooth in texture and just a bit salty. Good flavor though. Hummus had a nice garlic flavor, maybe to much tahini for my taste. Overall, 2Booli was just ok. Nothing to write mom about. The name is easy to remember - like that, but I think I really want to remember the name so I know not to go there again.

One of the better places to introduce friends to Mediterranean cuisine. The menu isn't expansive, but what is there is done well. My personal favorite is the spicy ghallaba with chicken, and strangely enough, their chili is solid. Also, make sure you ask for the garlic dip with the pita. It's super strong, but addicting.

Scene: I have 2 children w/me. They are wearing judo outfits. They are neither champions nor masters, they are merely Here To Pick Up Mommy & Daddy's takeout order so that the long, long Monday can come to an end. With hummus on the side. Mommy placed said order (while she should have been watching judo ) using the 2Booli App, advertised on the website. Never tried 2Booli before, but the beauty & ease of this app--plus the proximity to , yes, judo--made me think it would become a maybe regular-ish-y thing. The confirmation email I promptly receive further wins my affections (I'm kind of easy that way). Back to scene: I'm w//judo-d up kids, I arrive to fetch my bags, plunk down my $40 & be on my way. No. The woman who "greets" me says, "I got your name, but your order didn't come THROUGH. I left it UP to show you." No apology. Nothing. No greeting, for that matter. She kept trying to direct me to her computer screen. I said, "Hey, I have this confirmation?" She said, "I don't know what YOU have but I don't have anything." She then said "I can put an order through but it will take 10 minutes". I was starving, so I'm ashamed to say I said okay--thinking for sure, at least she would throw in free $1 pickles or something. Nope. She came over and plunked down the bill for the full, entire amount.Still no sorry, nothing. I was suddenly really disgusted that I was about to spend $40 for really lousy, awful customer service. So this one star is not for the food--I have no idea how it is--it's for the totally dismissive way I was treated this evening. I told her to forget the order--and she swore under her breath at me as I was leaving. With my TWO CHILDREN. To quote one of them, "we get better service at McDonalds, Mommy!". Yes, sensei, we do.

2Booli serves freshly made fruit juices made with any combination of apple, carrot, ginger, beet, and celery, which are worth a try! The restaurant is a sit down, but they do take out also. I would recommend the fattoush salad, although next time I might ask for lighter dressing or dressing on the side. It's a bit on the sour for me, but paired with their 2Berry lemonade it made a good light lunch. Be warned, the chicken shwarma wraps come only with meat and a pickle, but if you stuck some fattoush on the wrap it tastes delicious!

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Mango mojito was delicious, salads are huge. I had hummus shwarma and husband had shwarma meal, both were very tasty. Definitely on our list of great places to eat now --------- Updating the review from 5 stars to 1 star. My husband got severe food poisoning from shish kafta that was probably undercooked
