I think this is one of the best pizza places downriver. So far I have not had a pizza that I didnt like. Everyone that works there has always been nice. The andys special is one of my favorites (and I usually hate "specials" from other pizza places). They also have an amazing chicken Alfredo pizza. They're fast and priced well.

I have always thought that there is a fine line between pizza, good pizza and great pizza. Usually a place that qualifies as just "pizza" neglects to use proper or enough seasonings in their sauce or whatever. Sadly, Andy's qualifies as just "pizza". Not bad, but not all that good either. In fact, I got a bizarre taste in one slice that tasted faintly like brocolli, which I hate. I figured that maybe some fell into the sauce and they just fished it out. The staff had a "i dont give a damn" attitude as well. The best thing I can say about Andy's is that it is the only pizza place I know of Downriver open until 1:00am. In case you have to have pizza no matter what.

It's hit or miss on the menu. When you find what you like, you'll really like it, but everything else is pretty gross. I like the pizza roll, and my family likes their specialty pizzas (taco, bbq chicken, chicken alfredo, etc). Their chicken wings aren't bad either. Not a fan of the hamburgers. One family member always orders their shrimp dinner and she really likes that. The main reason for the crappy review is the absolute C U Next Tuesday that answers their phone like 75% of the times I have called. Chances are, if you get a female, it's probably her... and you're gonna hate it. The dudes I've talked to have all been pretty nice though.

I have given this place one star on behalf of their pizza. Rest in peace Pizza. If there is a owner out there reading this. Your staff is horribly rude on the telephone every time we call they act as if we are bothering them by ordering a pizza. When you go inside to pick up your pizza there is absolute no friendly customer service. We ordered a pizza recently and actually called and canceled our order after the girl on the phone was was so rude It made me not want them to even make my pizza. When we called to cancel the guy that answered didn't ask why we wanted to cancel. He just hung up on us. A friend of mine ordered a chicken pizza recently for her little girls and said the chicken was still raw when she got it? How scary? This place was good years ago but I'm starting to think the owners need to sell it and retire.

So. Good. I use to live in the Village Green apartments in Southgate and Andy's, being so close, was my go-to delivery place. Good subs and pizza and so forth. Their BBQ chicken pizza is probably my boyfriend and I's favorite BBQ chicken pizza ever to exist. They do not skimp on the cheese! Or the chicken or sauce, really. It's simply to die for...and yes, sometimes you feel like you will die after consuming it, but it must be done. Since moving out of Southgate, I haven't had Andy's in two years or so and the other night my boyfriend and I decided it was time to head out that way and pickup a pizza. We were driving around at the time and I called them "Hi, I'd like to place an order for pickup" and they must of still had my number on file. "Jessica?" I blushed. "Why yes, Andy...It's me...oh, it's been too long, hasn't it?" I said in my mind, seductively. Not aloud. I hope. So I placed the order for the BBQ chicken pizza and cheese bread. "That'll be about 25 minutes" Excellent. We headed that way and got there just in time, picked it up, took it home, opened it and cried tears of joy. It is what we had been missing! So much cheese..so...much...cheese. The cheese bread was amazingly cheesy. This place is just too damn good. After we filled our belly's and put the left overs in the fridge we decided that we needed to make the trip out to get Andy's more often. It is worth it to us.

This place used to be our weekly family dinner night out. We haven't ordered from there in months because the last order we got (which was around $30) was absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. The chicken breast was the size of a wing, the pizza roll was burnt and my son who adores chicken tenders was so disappointed he wouldn't even eat his. We've given Andy's plenty of opportunity prior to this last experience to show us that every restaurant has it's bad night but this was ridiculous! Needless to say, we will not be eating there again, sadly. Unless Robert Irvine or Gordon Ramsay visits them :) UPDATE 8/14/2013 We decided to give Andy's another shot and they did not disappoint. Their food quality is back up. However they still need to get their online ordering menu fixed and some of their staff seems a little grumpy when you call in an order.

I've had Andy's many many times. However, this time I was less than impressed. We waited an hour and a half for the delivery of a $35.00 meal, and everything was cold. Reheated cheese sticks...yuck. I understand they have to make multiple deliveries when they go out, however if it can't be done in a timely manner to where what I'm paying for arrives fresh and hot...there's a problem. The food is normally very good, so the negative two stars is specifically for this visit. Andy's, I'll be back...please don't disappoint again.

Just ordered take out from Andy's. Sadly, disappointed. This is strike three for me with this establishment. One I used to order from weekly. I ordered online to avoid the poor phone service and to make sure there were no errors of communication. (Nice feature but you can't take advantage of coupons.) I prepaid. The driver still wanted to collect for my order. Was insistent on it to the point of rudeness. He finally rechecked the tag and found it was paid. Then after he had left I checked the order and they missed an entire sub. Upon call back the staff was less than sympathetic and I literally had to push them to make my sub and re-deliver it in a timely manner. Horrible customer service skills. The food was tepid when it arrived. My spaghetti was your typical fast food buffet style and I ordered meatballs. At one time these were sizable and apparently home made. Now their small and taste like the pre-bagged frozen ones you get a GFS. Frankly, I won't be ordering from here again. I have to many other mediocre to excellent pizza places to order from to put up with this kind of poor customer service and frankly, stupidity.
