Tim Hortons & Cold Stone

19014 Eureka Rd

Interiors: Posh with browns, taupes, sands, peaches, creams and some black mixed in. Free wifi: yes Chairs: three fireside modern chairs with silver legs were very easy to sit in and relax for much longer than 20 minutes. Mixing station: No. Everything at Tim Hortons gets added by their employees. This provides a change of pace, but not sure I like it. Wishlist: raw sugar instead of white Food: ate 3 timbits (think donut hole) in pumpkin spice, glazed sour cream and caramel; these weren't overly greasy and my favorite flavor was pumpkin spice. Their chic for a coffee shop environ put this place over the top.

Food is sublime! The soups, the cucumber salad are so scrumptious! I got the goulash and it was out of this world. My dining mates both had the paprikash and they were outstanding! Recommend :)
Excellent and authentic. Friendly attentive service. Recommend to a friend for sure.
Why would you go to the Rhapsody when you can get "REAL" Hungarian food at the HACC (Hungarian American Cultural Centre) in Taylor ?!! Check them out for dining times if you want the "REAL THING". hungariandetroit.com It will make you want to try "Greasy Bread" and drink Palinka

Great food . Service is outstanding and the owner Ray and Dino knows everyone's names and know there order also. Prices are great and you receive large portions of food. They have added more seating room to make the wait to sit down a lot short and much more room !
This place is highly recommended. Very "homey" and friendly. All the workers greet you on the way in and out. Excellent food with big portions for cheap. Definitely a favorite of ours.
FULL MENU ALL THE TIME! Breakfast for five people was $30. Can't beat that anywhere! Friendly waitress, even the cook said thank you and goodbye. Felt like family and I never been there before. This place would have a line or the door in Vegas!

It doesn't get much better than this. I've eaten here dozens of times over the last four years, it never disappoints. The Hoagies and Pepperoni Rolls are among the best you'll get anywhere, the slices of pizza are good and all of the baked goods are phenomenal. My office is just a few minutes, about a mile, from this shop. While it's not great on my waistline, it is fantastic on my tastebuds. Very affordable as well. Nothing here will break the bank. Every member of the staff I've ever dealt with is also very friendly and helpful as well. You can't go wrong stopping in here.
Good pizza rolls, though I prefer the hoagies with the ham. The rolls could use a tad more sauce but are good for the price and are quick to grab and go. They are not as good as ones from the pizza places. Italian subs are good here but I would double the meat next time. Good rainbow cookies. The middle of the tiramisu was the best I've ever had but they need to cut off the hard outer crust on the bottom layer. Black forest cookies were just ok, better with milk chocolate instead of white. I stopped in twice, both times looking for turnovers and both times they had none. The first time, the girl said they just got back from vacation. Ok but I can't imagine what the excuse is a few days later. It was early in the day both times. I had asked her if they have them every day and she said yes. I heard the brownies were good here but mine was terrible. It was rock hard on top, no joke. There is no excuse to put out brownies that are clearly extremely overdone. That was disappointing. The staff here is very friendly and some of the things were good so I may stop in again.
What's the point of ordering a pizza when you can just stop here get the dough, pepperoni, the cheese and make your own. The pizza sauce that they make is really great. The prices are fantastic. During the The holidays they have trays full of delicious cookies. I stop in and grab a few when headed to parties.

Foggia Brothers Pizza

Foggia brothers pizza is located in the zodiac racquet ball club so most people don't know about this little gem. The pizza is Awesome ,tons of cheese real fresh dough tons of cheese made the old school way! I recommend this place to anyone who likes a good pizza !
Great atmosphere , friendly service !! And the supreme pizza is amazing !!! And my kids love the bread ! Making kids happy is huge !!! 5 stars all the way
Is it inside of a racquetball facility? Yes. Is it dimly lit and a bit out dated? Yes. Is the food above average? Yes. I am giving it four stars for now because I can't judge an Italian restaurant solely on their antipasti salad and warm bread. I will say that our carry out antipasti was excellent: meaty, ripe Roma tomatoes, lots of cheese, salami, and ham. The salad was properly dressed in a nice vinaigrette that didn't overwhelm the salad. The cook packaged it with two beautiful loaves of fresh house made Italian bread and that was a great meal. I can't wait to return to try the pasta and pizza. Manga!

Tubby’s Grilled Submarines

15220 Eureka Rd
Southgate, 48195
Reviews:
The food is what you expect. It's not great, but there is much worse. (I know, an odd way to start off a 5-star) I go to Tubby's a lot because, while they may not be the "best", they are still a local/regional chain and that is important to me. The rest of the world can have their Subways and Jimmy Johns, and you know what, when I'm driving on some interstate in the middle of nowhere, they're a good choice. But 'round these parts, I like to keep it local. Chain-wide, I think Tubby's could do with better bread, which is really the weak link in the chain, and the menu could use a little updating. But as long as you stick to the basics, you should be OK. The 5 stars are for this specific location, particularly the woman who runs the place middays (she's usually the only one there when I come in). Don't know who she is, but she rocks. Great service, well-prepared food, always a pleasure to talk to while she's cooking up your stuff. True customer service is a bit of a lost art form, but she gets it.
Far from being impressed. Apparently the staff rather gossip about the latest guy screwing them over and catching up on FB than actually doing their jobs. The subs are more bread than anything else and tastes like it was thawed out and reheated in a microwave.
Left a bad experience over at Rosie O'Gradys, walked to Tubbys, very friendly lady named Lee wearing plastic gloves taking them on and off as she takes orders and begins cooking. Watched her wash hands before putting on a new pair of gloves to begin cooking again...my kind of place :) Since I was grossed out by Rosie's I opted for cheese sticks only but they were the best darn cheese sticks I have tasted...yum. Will go back because the customer service experience was awesome and I loved Lee's attitude.

Great cozy, friendly little Italian restaurant. Excellent service. Bread was wonderful, served with a delicious amoglio sauce for dipping. Salad with their house Italian dressing and fresh ground pepper- delicious. Homemade pasta!! We ordered a half carafe of their house cab, really nice. I will definitely go back. Next time will try a desert, they looked good!
Went there for the fist time. I heard rave reviews on Facebook. I was disappointed. I had the lasagna, it was covered in sauce that didn't taste all that great. No bubbly melty cheese on top. I also thought it was overpriced. Pia's in Taylor is much better. On the plus side. The bread was good....
Best restaurant downriver! I've tried multiple "hidden gems" of downriver and this one beats all of them! Been going here since I was a kid!

Thai Place

got carry out from here for the first time today. I got the pad Thai curry (no spice) with scallops and it was really good! the scallops were large and soft. I was surprised by their size. my only complaints would have to be I wanted a little more scallion and another lime or two for acidity. I also got the Thai iced tea and omg it was amazing. I asked my boyfriend to go get me another one. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be addicted to them. my boyfriend and son both highly enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. definitely recommend this place, gonna be a regular spot for us now!
I've been to 25 Thai places and this is about the best. Good food, great price. $6.89 for lunch chicken pad Thai.
Absolutely delicious Thai food! The hot and sour soup was some of the best I've ever had and their shrimp rolls were excellent. My husband ordered his dish hot and he could have gone hotter (he's insane the way he can eat hot food). I ordered mine mild and it was perfect, mom ordered no spice and that's exactly what she got. Very friendly attentive waitress. Even the customers were talking to each other and making recommendations! Dining room is very tiny, FYI.
