I like this Tim Hortons. I go there several times a month on my way into my Southfield office. The ladies at the window are always very polite and smiling. The location is good and the food is what I expect it to be.

The food is fine, but the customer service here is just the worst. Terribly slow people who literally could not care less about how long it takes to get your food out or whether it's done correctly.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Tim Horton's. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. However, I am writing this review to tell you about the extremely rude manager that I encountered at this location. Instead of a review, I'm going to just write what happened, in order: 8:45AM I pull up to the Timmy's drive through window and place a large order for a work meeting. Then I order myself a breakfast sandwich: egg white, lettuce, and tomato on a bagel - NO cheese, NO meat (I repeat that last part about 3x). 9:00AM I pull into my morning meeting at work, take out my sandwich, and realize that it has a big ol' square of melted American cheese, and about a nickel-size piece of beef. 2:45PM (after all my meetings are finally done) I walk into Timmy's with my sandwich and my receipt, and start to politely explain the error to the associate, who immediately flags down her manager. The following dialogue ensues: Me: Hi, I ordered a breakfast sandwich this morning with egg white, lettuce, and tomato, no cheese, no meat. Manager: Where's the meat? Show me the meat (tearing into sandwich from every angle). Me: (Finding the nickel-sized amount) Here. Manager: Well that just fell off the grill! No one here has a magnifying glass! Me: Well I also ordered it no cheese, which there's a lot of. Manager: Associate (insert name)! Remake this. (To me) Do you know how many sandwiches we make each morning? Hm? Do you know how many sandwiches? Me: I really don't care. I only really care about mine. Manager: Do you want to see the meat? Huh? Do you want to see what the meat looks like? I'll show you. Me: No. I've been a vegetarian for 20 years because I DON'T want to see meat. Manager: (Having walked over to the meat and held up a piece). THIS is what the meat looks like. Me: I JUST told you I DON'T want to see that. Associate: Here you go (hands me the new sandwich). Me: (To the associate specifically) Thank you. I appreciate YOU. And I do appreciate the associate, even though she left the tomato off. I'm not going to hold that against her though, as she was in a high pressure environment, what with me yelling at her manager at all. Plus, at least there was no meat or cheese this time. I still love Timmy's, but in the future, I'll be going to any location except for this one. Now I'm going to stay at work for an extra half an hour, because of the time it took me to go back to Timmy's and then write this review. Anyway, happy eating!

I've been coming here on and off for the past week or so, and this Tim Horton's is just okay. I remember when they came to Michigan, and it seemed like such a big deal at the time, but now it's not as much fun or as tasty as I remember. This locations a okay, but nothing spectacular. Service is fine, food is okay, but the muffins taste kinda bland. The bagels are good, as are the donuts, but the muffins just don't cut it. I'm a Dunkin Donuts girl, and was hoping that this Tim's would impress me with the food, but I can't really say that. I don't know if my tastes have changed, or if the food quality is just not what I thought it was, but overall, its a mediocre at best for the food and coffee itself. Decent menu selection, prices are fair, and they are open 24 hours, which I like. Will probably frequent here on the regular, only because it's easy in easy out.

This is a tale of two Timmy's. #1 was the best of Tim's, #2 was the near-worst of Tim's, #1 was the peak of freshness #2 was the nadir of staleness, #1 was the measure of chipper service #2 was the measure of appalling indifference, #1 was the reason for Timbits #2 was the reason for drive-offs (before paying*), #1 was the full range of stock #2 was the barren shelf of rejects, #1 has my steady business #2 has my ready scorn, #1 has everything going for it #2 has nothing going for it, I am going direct to delighful #1, #2 is going direct the other way... #1 is the Northwestern Highway Tim Horton's. #2 is the Telegraph Tim Horton's. Both are in Southfield. Both are worlds apart.

It's just a trend in Southfield... Super-slow service, regardless of whether you are in the drive-thru or go inside. The workers have 0% urgency when getting an order together. A simple bagel with butter turns into a 10-minute transaction. I used to work at a bagel shop. I know how long it takes to make a bagel with butter, create a drink order AND ring it up. I'd do it in less than four minutes. So I can absolutely say that the people at this Tim Hortons just suck. They get the order right, I guess, but isn't fast food supposed to be fast?

I needed caffeine to stay awake, as I driving I saw this place. Pulled into the parking lot and went in. The lady behind the counter greeted me with a pleasant smile. I ordered a x-large coffee with Canadian Maple Donut. I take my coffee black. Coffee: not as strong as Starbucks but it was pleasant. Donut: too sweet for my taste. I like the place, plus they also offer FREE WIFI unlike my hotel. I gave three stars for their coffee and friendly staff.

Popped my Tim Hortons cherry. I wasn't that impressed. Ordered the French Vanilla and the Cafe Mocha. They were a bit too sweet and I wish I knew to tell them no whip cream. The lids on the drinks were so McDonalds. I would love to come back and try their food items. I heard good things.
