The food is just ok - the pricing is ridiculous, they charge for everything and probably feel they can because they are servicing people within an office building. I've worked in other buildings that have a cafeteria and have received far superior food and portions for much less.

Cafe Clare tries to provide gourmet cafeteria food, in the process making dishes too weird to enjoy and often falling short on basic dishes. A typical 'gourmet' dish is Penne Pasta with Cranberry Alfredo topped with grilled chicken and fresh spinach. I'm a Fettuccine Alfredo fan and would love to be able to get it without spinach, broccoli, or other vegetables mixed in, but I have never seen it available there. Other dishes have been similarly altered from familiar favorites to oddities. Even dishes that should be easy often aren't prepared well. An Open Face Prime Rib Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy was way overdone and salty. Their french fries are battered and not worth eating. The portion sizes are large and priced for it as well. An entree comes in about $6.50 + tax and usually includes a main dish plus a side and a vegetable - their choice, not yours. I always feel full after eating there and have sometimes saved half my entree for the next day. What would I suggest for them? First, offer some half-size options at a lower price. Second, stop focusing on faux gourmet and keep things recognizable. Third, put a suggestion box where patrons can list ideas for items they would enjoy. Personally, I would suggest a french dip sandwich, ribs, and a beanless chili added to the rotation. I'll probably still go there on occasion since it's convenient, but if they changed up the food a bit, I might be there a lot more often.
