I've eaten at this place at least a couple dozen times even though I don't like it. Why? Because my coworkers like it and I'm too lazy to go get my own food. Out of all my meals, I've had only one or two that I thought were really good -- and I've tried at least 4 things on the menu. The rest of the time it's average or just plain bad. My biggest complaint is their spice level. Two times ago when I ordered I asked for mild-plus. My meal ended up having no spice at all. So last time I ordered I asked for medium. Again, literally NO SPICE! Yet others from our group who ordered mild-plus had plenty of visible spice on their dishes. I've eaten in the restaurant two or three times and the service has always been awful. Granted we've had larger groups, but I don't think an hour and a half is an acceptable length of time for a lunch during the work day, especially when there's no wait for seating. Bottom line: avoid this place. Try Cafe Thai or Bangkok Hung instead.

Pretty decent. I like that the lunch portions are sized smaller and less expensive than dinner. Had the Pad Ped which is my favorite. I've had better but for location to my office for lunch, it satisfies the craving. I also had the crab rangoons. They are very large, but really, I didn't taste any "K"rab in them, only cream cheese. Wouldn't order those again. I'm willing to try some other dishes, I think Sukhotthai in Oak Park is a lot better though.

Wow. I dont know how this place is so busy at lunch time, given the resultant product. First of all, when ordering, I was given 4 options on the entire menu that could be ordered without fish sauce, which means that all their sauces are premade, most thai places I have been to can offer me red curries at least without fish sauce. I ordered a dish with peanut sauce, mild plus. I got a resultant plate of over fried tofu, and a peanut sauce that had almost no flavor, and definitely no heat. If this is mild plus, than i need to order super hot next time because i needed to use way too much sriracha to get it even worth anything. This place tastes like I am ordering thai food from a mall food court. Its almost more chinese with a hint of heat than it is thai. Although It is relatively inexpensive, and the service was satisfactory, I will not eat here again.

One of the best, if not the best , Thai restaurants I've ate at. Great food with good sized portion and price as well.

I was excited when I walked into this place and it was jam packed. "It must be amazing", I thought. I almost didn't stay because the hostess told me it would be about 15 minutes for a table. But, I figured my waiting would pay off in way of a tasty curry. So, my dish arrived quickly and looked decent. I love spice, so I asked for hot. Unfortunately, the only good thing was that my vegetables were really fresh. The curry wasn't really curry, more of a soup. Next, it was spiced with chili seeds that were just dumped on top of the food rather than cooked into the meal. I couldn't taste the food, only the spice.

This rating is based on just one dish--the Kow Pad Curry, a fried rice that is made creammy with coconut milk. It is so delicious that I have never been able to order any other dishes there because I'm so afraid I would be disappointed. Friends tell me that everything is good. I want some now!

Local lunch favorite for pad thai (n1) or almond chicken (E2) and all meals are served with the soup of the day (usually hot & sour but sometimes there's egg drop). I find their Medium to be just mildly spiced enough to enjoy, even their Med+ is bearable to me, but a little less so. All plates are reasonably priced for a large portion of delicious Thai food. Travels well and is great for take-out or leftovers.

Not a geography whiz, but having gone through middle school as a boy we all know what the capital of Thailand is ;) I'm admittedly not an expert on Thai food; however, I know enough to know this place is good. Pros: Great flavor, value, take out Cons: service is average at best I've had the pad Thai in every combination of meat and heat and each one is delicious. The hottest peppers are frozen, which was disappointing to me because it kind've hurts the authenticity of the food. Also had some type of coconut chicken, which was amazing. I ordered it on a whim and will definitely get that again. In closing, of the Thai in the area, I prefer Bangkok city to their competition. It is cheap and the flavor is there. Good Thai takeout, but nothing out of this world.

Has recently become my go to place for Thai food. Very consistent and very friendly staff. I go at least once a week, I can never get enough!

Nondescript little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a tiny strip. I was the ONLY sit-down customer present on the Thursday night that I went, but they did have a steady stream of take-out customers. The price was good and the portions generous; in fact, I had enough to have a smallish second meal from the leftovers. I don't do much Thai (given that I currently reside in a peapod-sized town whose best offering for Asian is King's Buffet), but this place was good enough to satisfy me. I would have given it 3 stars, but the portion size bumped it up.

This is one of the places I check out when I go to Detroit. It's a hole in the wall kind of place. Nothing to look at from the outside but decent inside. Nothing fancy but tastefully decorated. I've found the service to be fast and efficient. Pleasant but not overly friendly. The Phad Thai is what I come in for. One of the better Phad Thai that I've had over the years. Plenty of chicken (subbed out for the shrimp), noodles are soft but not over-cooked and there is just enough scallions to give it some colour. The flavour is very good with a little of the sweet taste to start and then a little heat when you are chewing. Prices are very average. Great place to go for lunch although I'd recommend going after 1:30 as they get pretty busy for lunch. Mid afternoon is best, you'll pretty much have the place for yourself and you'll get better service. I'll be back for more Phad Thai next time I'm in Detroit.

Phenomenal Thai food. Best I have ever had! Their restaurant is tucked in a strip mall and nice and clean. The food is awesome! I highly recommend.

This place is the closest Thai to my work which is why we go. Food is good, most lunches under $7.00. Service is fast, they handle our large groups no problem. Rice is usually undercooked at lunch, how can that be at a thai place? They charge extra for a small cup of rice, it should be free at these places like bread at Italian places. I prefer Thai restaurants that give all you can eat free white rice like Siam spicy. Cup of soup is included with lunch.

I am baffled here at the negative reviews... My gf grew up eating at this place's original location in Milford, which I've been to a dozen or so times. Now, living elsewhere, we come here, and it's just as good if not better. Been here maybe six times, and have left delighted every time. It and the Milford location have since become my favorite Thai places in Michigan. Pad See-Ew and Pad Thai are what we usually get, and this place gives you a soup.of the day too, which is nice. This is a definite 5-star in my book. Wish i could come more often (every day)

The staff is very attentive and portions are great for the prices. Spacious and nicely decorated, this Thai restaurant is one of my favorites in the Metro Detroit area. It's never noisy or too crowded inside, as people mostly order take-out. This makes it a very relaxing place to eat at. It's a nice in-between for people who enjoy authentic Thai and Americanized Thai food. I was delighted to discover it, as my normal Thai place is the sister location in Milford. It's where I get my Thai fix!

Some of the best Thai food that I have tried. I really like No Thai in Ann Arbor but I think this place feels a bit more authentic. I have only been once but the Pad Prik that I had was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place.

The pineapple fried rice is very good, and the pad cashew is pretty good. Never any complaints with the food or staff, but it won't knock your socks off either.
