Small place. You almost miss it. Very clean. Servers were great. Portions are INSANE. I can see why they were voted the best in Michigan. Definitely coming again

Omelet was huge but rubbery and it had canned mushrooms. No excuse for that. Very nice and attentive service, nice original older interior which I prefer to newer chain restaurants. I chose this place because it had a #1 rating for the area. That's disheartening. I won't be back. My hubby didn't complain...he also didn't finish his breakfast either.

Friendly service has always been a hallmark of Kalamazoo's Antique Kitchen. Today was no different as I walked in the door at 6:00 am and was cheerfully greeted by Jackie as if I was a regular despite only having dined there 3 or 4 times. With a hot cup of Joe in hand, I ordered the special of 2 eggs over easy, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and buttermilk pancakes...a very good deal for $ 5.50. Nothing fancy here, just what you'd expect...a good honest and hearty breakfast at a fair price. There are thousands and thousands of 3-star diners/restaurants like the Antique Kitchen all over America. What makes this place special and deserving of 4 stars is the friendly small town service of the waitstaff.

This is my favorite breakfast place period. I was back in Kalamazoo last week and ate every day that I was there for breakfast. As everyone already knows, the omelettes are enormous. I'm a big dude and I couldn't finish either omelette that I had that week. The porky pig omelette is a meat orgy and the Southern Omelette is quite possibly my favorite. Most of the staff has been there 20+ years and the place looks exactly the same as it did then. It is my ultimate comfort food restaurant when I'm back in the 269.

Above average breakfast food and in my opinion, one of the best tasting omelettes around. No frills and just simple food that will have you coming back for more. The waitresses could use a bit more polish but overall, they get the job done. The prices of the meals here are really in line with the quality and the quantity of the food that you get.

Went there today for breakfast with my wife. The restaurant was understaffed and the food was absolutely horrible!! The kitchen and the waitstaff argued through the window the entire time we were there.... Normally this is a good place for breakfast... I suppose we all can have a bad day... Unfortunately today it cost me $25 for A horrible meal that neither my wife nor I could eat !!!

I hadn't been here in 15 years just because it's a little out of the way for me, but I remembered it fondly and found a restaurant.com certificate for it, so decided to take a friend who'd never been there. I was SO pleasantly surprised. The food was every bit as good as I recalled, the portions were just as enormous, the staff was very pleasant and smiling, and the restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. They only serve breakfast and lunch, and the specials board is on the wall in the lobby when you walk in. We didn't have to wait, but if you do, it's really worth it.

Huge 6-egg+ omelette's, you may want to consider a half order. Be aware that they use lots of cheese on top of many of their omelette's. The food comes out of the kitchen fast, even on the weekend. It truly is a greasy spoon! Most people talk about their breakfast, sometime go for their lunch special. i have always enjoyed their patty melt and soup.

Your basic breakfast place. The beautiful hard working servers. A breakfast "bar" to sit at and drink coffee and read the paper. They actually have a health omelette here too, made with egg beaters. Yummy hash browns, and the best breakfast coffee -- served in my FAVORITE fashion of all time: an entire pot to leave on the table, thus always hot coffee.... heaven. The service is fast. I miss good, cheap breakfast diners. Especially the ones in Kalamazoo. Sigh.
