I sent my husband to Nikkos Koney Kitchen yesterday about 7pm to get a fish dinner. The bag was stapled so he didn't take it out and look.at it. He was charged $11 , which he thought was really expensive, but figured there was big portions. What he got was two small pieces of fish, French fries, tartar sauce , and a lemon slice. I think this is ridiculous and would never recommend this dive to anyone. I will post this everywhere! Here is what I got in my order for $11.00, and didn't even get coleslaw. What kind of coney is this? Most coneys are not nearly expensive and has way better food! I will post this on all social media. What the hell! $11.00 for two chinch pieces of fish? Anybody who's thinking of eating there, you better have a lot of money, or contact me at jaderss@yahoo@com

If you want fast speedy service for lunch, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!

Lacks the comfiness and informal decor I'd normally associate with a coney. Prices are also on the high side. Coffee is good, food is adequate, service in the middle of the afternoon was decent. Nothing special- if you're looking for casual options around here, Carnival Market has seating for meals.

Great place for carryout food! Their Chicken Pasta soup is my personal favorite, but they also have great Greek Salad, Pita bread, chicken tenders and French fries, and a delicious restaurant-style ranch dressing. I've also come here for breakfast a few times, and the selection is as good as any. The service is usually great, and I've seen the owner around a few times as well. It's a top favorite for me and my family :)

Got here at 8:55, the open sign was on, and they said they were closed. The sign said they close at 9:00. Really!

My favorite lunch spot in the area.. It's like the Morton's of coney islands! (Minus the crazy prices) the inside is gorgeous and the food is awesome! Get the nikko melt! And ask for the fries extra crispy!

Went out for a quick lunch, three in our party. Back in the office within the hour, fed and watered. Not bad for a lunch place. Line not too long, good flow-through of people. Menu looked nice. This place being a Coney, I missed an Italian beef sammich ;-) although the corned beef sandwiches looked good on paper. I had a Gyros, which was ok. Nothing special, just ok food. Tomatoes crunchy and fresh, topped with that tzatziki sauce. Just watch out when eating 'sloppy' food on the outside tables - the mesh tabletop will not stop anything from seeping through, of course dropping it on your clothes :-) Nothing a good dry-cleaning can fix. If I'm in the neighborhood, will probably return there again.

Best gyros in this area. I'm a lamb/beef sandwich connoisseur, and the food here is unsurpassed. Very fresh, generous portion of meat, and awesome house tatziki sauce. Don't miss the saganaki (flaming cheese) either. Great service, super clean restaurant. There's a reason for the line out the door during lunch.

I eat here a couple times a week. If you get there just before the lunch crowd the service is insanely fast . The servers are great, the owner is a good guy. The food is above average Coney food, but with that comes an above average price. I will keep coming here but a couple times a week is all the wallet can take for lunch

Been eating here about 3 times a month for 2 years now. Great food. A little pricey for a coney, but it's the cleanest, brightest coney you will find. Friendly staff... FAST service. Kitchen knows what they are doing. Specials every day, typical fish on Friday ($8.25) etc... I like the decor and outside seating...

Pretty typical coney fair.....pretty big menu. They had really nice salads. Hash browns were good...could have been a little crispier, but we did come here pretty late. I also have the bl minus t. The inside is very modern and nicely decorated...does not look like a coney island at all....I just hope they didn't spend too much on decorating. It is owned by the same guy who owns motorcity burgers and co and spargos. If you are around and want breakfast, a coney, gyro, salad, sandwich in a hurry, this is your place.... They also have outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Have eaten lunch twice in six months here. They know how to get busy folks in and out, yet providing good service . Decent food, maybe even a bit about average. Sharp, clean, modern, almost trendy decor.

Delicious meals from a classed up take on a koney kitchen. Daily specials are made fresh. If you dont find something you like, they will make you something from the kitchen, if they have what you are looking for. Service is quick, although during lunch time there may be a few minute wait. Gyros, pasta, chili fries, breakfast all day... you cannot go wrong.

Very fast service. Depending on what I order, I have received my food in under 3 minutes from when I place my order. The decor is pretty trendy and upscale for a coney place so that is a bit of a surprise when you walk in the door. So are the prices. If you order a basic pita and fries, don't expect to get out of there for under $15 after tip. They have a standard coney menu with coney dogs, breakfast all day, gyros, pitas, lots of grill and fryer options.

Go down into Pontiac and there is one on every corner... and better... nice waitress though. $2.75 for a Coney!!!! They are $1.00 everywhere down the street. It's just ok.

Quick and polite service, delicious and fresh food. Clean and nice atmosphere. Huge menu with tons of options. Recommend the flaming cheese!

Probably the nicest interior decorated Coney Island ever. However they keep weird hours, relying on the nearby business crowd to keep them afloat for lunches during the weekdays. Best time to go here is for brunch, especially on Sunday AM as you can beat the church crowd after 11 and get a decent breakfast but be ready to spend some dough on it! One time I wanted breakfast for dinner and ordered an egg white veggie omelet with a side of toast and hash browns and my total came to $14! That was just a take out order! I've stopped going there due to it hardly ever being open by the time I get out of work and because I don't wanna drop $14 on breakfast. Otherwise this place is quite nice and always busy for weekday lunch hour.
