Zack’s of Plymouth Menu

Just had a great lunch with my son Christian at Zack's. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Christian the Bacon Cheeseburger and we also got the Saganaki appetizer. The Chicken Caesar wrap was fresh and wasn't buried in lettuce and dressing. Christian's burger was perfectly cooked and good sized, you know, the burger wasn't lost in the bun, there was plenty of bacon and cheese, and they presented it with fresh lettuce and pickles on the side just like he ordered. I had coffee, and I have to say that this was most likely the best tasting, freshest coffee I've tasted from a local restaurant in ages. I asked what brand it was and the told me "Eviva". I wondered if I could get that, and they said it's a custom brand they get from their supplier. Definitely worth it. I think Zack's has done something good here. I have had a few bummer meals from here, and it seems like they are back on track with this meal for certain.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. When we lived in Plymouth, we easily ate here at least once a week. The staff are friendly and have been there forever. Everything I have tried here has been good. We still make the trip from Saline sometimes on the weekend to have breakfast here : )

Simply the worst service I've endured at a restaurant in a very long time. We waited 20 minutes for the server to acknowledge us, then we were greeted with a very rude "Are you ready?" After taking the order, the server threw a couple of looks towards my girlfriend that made her wonder what she had done wrong. The looks were nasty enough that my girlfriend actually walked over to ask the server what she had done, then cancelled her order after getting a condescending reply and an insincere apology. This is not something I have ever seen her do before, but the rudeness was incredible. The rest of the party received our orders timely enough after ordering, and the breakfast bagel sandwich was quite tasty, but the only time after getting the food that we saw our server was when she handed me the bill. Not once did the server ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything, just "are you taking this?" Being human and having worked in food service, I know that people have bad days. I try to be patient and understanding, but the blatant disregard with which our party of 8 was treated will ensure that I will never eat at this place again.

Food quality poor , loud disrespectful clientele and workers. Only benfitt 24 hrs the awesome fries were not so awesome and had to send them back they were still frozen it is extremely loud and mostly teenagers seems like this place used to be the place to be now definitely the place not to be

30 minute wait at IHOP in Canton so we drove 10 minutes to Plymouth to eat at Zac's. Immediate seating with coffee right away. Food was fast and fresh. Eggs were cooked perfect. I had sunrise special. Wife had the hash. Bill was under $20. I should know better and stay away from the national chain restaurants. They do need to turn off the chime on the front door during busy hours. that was annoying.

Ordered a simple carryout mid afternoon on a Saturday - patty melt and soup. Waited 30 minutes or so for no apparent reason (small crowd inside) and finally received the patty melt and immediately noticed there was no soup in the bag and inquired about the soup (already paid for) and was asked what kind of soup and proceeded to wait for the soup and never received an apology. Upon trying the patty melt a bit later noted it had raw not cooked onions on it - a truly miserable experience.

Yikes! More than a few negative reviews on here but I had a pretty good experience....factoring in that it was 2am and I was famished. I ordered the "Zack's Special" or some such thing...three eggs, toast, sausage gravy and like 8 sausage links....I'm sure I'm forgetting something that was piled on my plate but all in all a pretty solid mess of food to mop up. My eggs were just a little underdone but no complaints. It's a welcome greasy spoon after a long night out on the town.

Zacks is hit or miss. I Like awesome fries and Cookie Monster sundae and most breakfast. Service can be really good or really horrible. Food is pretty cheap. This place is a big hangout for local teenagers.

The awesome fries (well done) used to be AWESOME but not anymore. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone down in recent years. My mouth would water just thinking about their delicious greasiness but alas, that is no longer the case. I don't usually like eating in the restaurant as it is usually filled with obnoxiously loud teenagers or drunk people depending on the time that you go since it is open 24 hours. Food is cheap but you are getting what you pay for.

Seriously you must be joking to call your self a restaurant. They ask if everything is okay while they put a bill on my table *** read my tip

Yuck. Don't go here. Ever. Recently visited with a big group (this wasn't our first choice but was the only place that could seat us all together). The guy that ordered breakfast for dinner was the smart one.....because it's hard to screw up breakfast. Thankfully I wasn't too hungry and stuck with a side salad and soup. The salad was a joke....iceberg all the way and the most disgusting ranch dressing ever. The soup was meh....it was edible. I am actually embarrassed I suggested this place. Would have been better to go elsewhere and just not sit together. Giving one extra star because the waitress who took care of us was pretty on the ball!

The only thing better than this place being open twenty four hours a day are the awesome fries. The service is also great here, especially late at night.

Zacks is my favorite! My best friend and I come here as much as we can! They have friendly staff, it looks nice on the inside. They have awesome food! They stay open late. I wish they had a place like this close to where I live!

I can see why so many other reviewers loved this place. They were DRUNK! Unfortunately, I wasn't when I stopped in last week for lunch. I wanted to try something new so I cut across traffic and made my way in. First impression - 70's decor, filthy floors, waitresses with food on their clothes. Not good so far. I'm shown to a table in the middle of the room (everyone else was in booths on the outside, and yes there were still some open). Strike two. I ordered a standard breakfast with a 1/2 side of biscuits and sausage gravy (yes, breakfast for lunch again). The food came out and it looked....old. Most of it was OK, but the biscuit was from the 1970's I'm sure. I couldn't even cut it with my knife, and it was burned on the bottom. The gravy tasted canned (at best). Here's another place I can check off my list and never look back, not even if I was drunk!

We only go for breakfast because its the ony thing that is good. We went once for dinner and it was horrible, my kids (3 & 5 ) ordered food and wouldnt eat it, at first I thought they were just being their usual selves but when I tried it , I understood why..disgusting. Their breakfast is decent but the pancakes are really tough and hard to cut. I make everyone go to the bathroom before we leave the house because the restrooms here are disgusting and freezing. For the amount of business they generate I would think upgrades would be done but it's really outdated and dirty looking, it's always cold so bring a coat! The service is quick and friendly; we rarely have to wait more than 3 minutes for a table. Price for 4 to eat breakfast runs us around $25. Overall not bad but if there were another close option we wouldn't hesitate to say goodbye.

Good friendly staff, I was served quickly and our waitress was great. Love the food and great prices. Not to mention open 24 hours! There is a large selection of food for everyone. You can't beat the breakfast options and the my personal favorite the crispy chicken wrap!

Guilty of going to Zacks for breakfast only, but also my usual go-out-for-a-meal meal anyways. And they do a great job of it! She Who Must Be Obeyed and I always appreciate the Darker Side of hash browns (they are called "browns" for a reason, right?), and eggs cooked the way you've ask for them to be. Simple requests, but in some joints, totally unattainable. NOT HERE. If you're in the area that early and the tummie has the grumblies, tone down the growling gut and stop by Zack's. PS - Little Sis is an aficionado of corn beef hash. Says this is the one to measure all others against. Heady compliment!

We love Zack's of Plymouth! We've tried the Cajun burger, mushroom and Swiss and the bacon cheeseburger. They were all delicious and paired with the fries and coleslaw, you have a great meal. The food is priced fairly and they are open 24 hours. Much better than going to Denny's.

Love the fact that it's open 24 hours - when experiencing the midnight munchies, Zack's is always my go-to. Great place to hang out with friends, food is alright but I usually go for their ENORMOUS desserts. Their brownie sundae and cookie monster are the two reasons why I love this place. Their awesome fries are pretty awesome too. Service is nice, went there so often at one point that the waitress started recognizing me. Oops. No regrets, I'm going to frequent a place that I love eating at!

I'm going to sound old when I say this, but this was THE SPOT back when I was in high school! After band concerts or whatever excuse we had, we would pack this place! The food is just A-OK, but the desserts is what does it for me. The waffle sundae, Sweet William and a bunch of other things they serve on the flip-over menu. I never had any of the late night specials, but they looked to be priced OK.

We order breakfast a lot to go, the last few times were not so good. The last time they had a huge mistake in the order, I called to complain..nicely and I was told very rudely "i haven't even taken any breakfast orders yet".. No kidding it was like 5am you weren't there yet. Handled poorly, we will not return

They made and altered Eggs Benedict for me. They used the sausage gravy. Let me tell you...awesome. The gravy made the meal. If you like the E.Benedict, you'll love this!!

This is my updated review of Zack's. After frequenting four times, I can say I will not return. The staff is persistently horrible. Whether they're forgetful of refreshments, lacking in personality, consistently nasty, or rudely forcing you out, the staff at Zack's is just plain bad. I gave them a fair shake, but after repeated poor visits, I can, with confidence, say that Zack's of Plymouth has the most sour staff out of any late-night joint I've ever been to. Two stars, because the food isn't horrible, just average. Grecian Cafe down the road has cute girls, great food, and slightly cheaper prices.

Here is what we ate; Mushroom Barley Soup tasted like it was watered down and reheated too many times. Broiled Whitefish overcooked and tasteless, could not finish. Peas, something very wrong with them, told waitress, did not ask if we'd like anything else. Fish & Chips, chips good, fish was partially dried up. one piece was half breading , fish was missing.. Sat us in the "other" room. We were the only people in there , sat by the window, all the caulking gone and a nice cold draft blowing through ( yeah, should have got up and moved, but I was frozen to my seat) Used to go here quite often in the 90's, unfortunately, the decor and probably the food is leftover from then. Give it a miss.

I finally visited Zack's after living in Plymouth for more than a year. This place is open 24 hours. Zack's is a casual diner. It looks like a casual diner. But my experience there exceeded my expectations for a diner. First, the prices are great. They're quite low for Plymouth and even lower than some other "chain" diners. Totally worth it. Second, the service was competent and fairly efficient. Most inexpensive diners offer crappy service, but our server was polite, quick to refill our coffee and knowledgeable about the menu items. Lastly, the food was better than most cheap diner food I've had. I had the greek omelet with feta cheese and it was quite fantastic. I didn't have a hangover the day I visited Zack's and felt guilty that I wasted such an unhealthy and yummy experience on sobriety, but the next time I have a hangover, I'm definitely going to Zack's.

UMMMM thanks for being open 24 hours! I like going for breakfast or a night after the bar. Great service and food at both times!

Used to come here alot in high school, since they were open late, and had typical food. The menu is what you would expect from an american style diner. It has all of the staples, and it is served fast. The food quality isn't spectacular, but you won't be going here for a fancy dinner. The prices are pretty reasonable. Service has always been good. I've never had a mean waiter/waitress, and I've always been seated promptly. Go here if you want a late night dinner, or to meet with friends.

I frequented Zack's 3-5 times a week between 2007-2009. Back then the smoking area was a bit crowded, especially with the lion's share of the clientele being smoking hipsters and the younger crowd which was more apt to bring larger groups. This side of the restaurant filled quickly, which was of stark contrast to the other (larger) non-smoking half of the establishment. Of course this doesn't apply anymore, which should help ease the crowds. The wait staff is uniformly average, it just depends who you get. The menu is pretty predictable, with all of the late-night staples paired with some surprises such as saganaki. You get a lot of food for what you pay for, the chicken wrap is especially satiating. However, I'm a dude and I don't ask (or expect) too much at an establishment such as Zack's. The parking lot isn't the greatest either.

Well, I was told this was a "great place", especially for breakfast - it may have been at some point (based on the decor, booth, paint and plates it has been there a LONG time). but not very good ad service is REALLY SLOW. we tried it three times, twice for breakfast, (one sat and one sun) and a wed dinner. All three times, took forever to get served - it was busy on Sun but come on - you ARE going to be busy on sunday so staff up. it took over an hour to get served both breakfast - an hour for eggs and bacon and about the same on wed. my food was cold once , while wifes' was hot - so apparent they made mine and it sat so i asked them to do again and it was 20 more mins. lots of better places out there

We have eaten here 3 times in the last 2 months. We have ordered a wide variety of items and have been pleased with the quality and service. Mushroom barley soup is great, very good pot roast, chicken fajita wraps and sandwiches. We will be back.

I don't know why this place is so popular. The food is less than mediocre, the wait staff is slow and unattentive. We've given it numerous tries and are always disappointed in every experience and everything we've ordered. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the prices are reasonable and it's convenient that it is open 24 hours.

Zack's is a good place to go after the bar closes and you don't want the usual Ram's Horn or Denny's meal. Food is OK - good gyros and "big salads", burgers, breakfasts and regular old diner-stuffs. I generally don't eat the dinner specials as they look cafteria-esque to me every time I check out what the old people next to me have ordered. Service is also OK - sometimes slow, other times great depending on who you get. Lots of good, HUGE desserts. 90% of the time I buy a huge chocolate chip cookie from behind the counter to take home.

Zack's is a standard Diner/Coney Islandish kind of place. Service is solid, food is pretty good. The last time I went I got a reuben and my friend got wing dings. The food came fast and hot. The service overall was good. We were not ignored, but I had to stop a waitress to request some ranch and my coffee could have been refilled. If you are out late or early, I'd give Zack's a solid recommendation.

When we go to downtown Plymouth bars for drinks, we usually end the night at Zack's. Good service, AWESOME fries. Srsly. Plus I was driving by the other day, and my Mobibo app went off with a deal for a free appetizer. Free appetizer at Zack's? Going tomorrow! Service can be indifferent depending on the other drunks ticking the servers off. But hey, that happens at any place like this. I would say 3/5 times I have good service. Prices are great too!

Love this place! 24 hours! Free wi-fi. Family owned and the staff is Pleasant with everyone and remembers regular's orders. Food is always fresh, quick, and hot! Especially love their breakfast available all day. Bacon and eggs cooked as ordered! Try the chocolate chip pancakes for a sweet treat!

I love Zack's! I would often go there during late lunch hours and order a bowl of chicken lemon soup and chicken fajita with fries. By the time I finished half of my soup, the chicken fajita arrives. On the plate, there are 2 small chicken fajita rolls with fries, sauce, and few pickles on the side. After finishing the soup, eating the first roll and most of the fries, I'm already super full. I recommend this place to anyone on a budget looking for a meal that will satisfy their enzymes.
