I like to get lunch here with my mom occasionally and the service and food are pretty good. You know what to expect here so there are really no surprises. Also, my mom has certain things she will eat (salads mostly) and they have a standard selection here. All in all, it's not a bad place to sit and chat for awhile although the last time we were here there was an out of control child that was screaming his head off and the parents thought it was just the funniest thing which was a huge turn off. I don't really blame the restaurant but it was distracting and annoying.

Hostess was lazy, standing around talking to other servers. Food was absolutely terrible. One dish was cold, another extremely salty, and another presented with the wrong ingredients. The chef put sourcream in the grits side dish. The only positive was the server, Malaak. She was friendly and tried to make amends. I'm sincerely disappointed and will be telling all of my friends to not eat here. The quality of food and service was sorely lacking on all fronts. Outside of the server, all could stand a retraining.

Waitress was wonderful but the baked potatoes were cold and burgers were red their were 2 hairs in the chicken wings appetizer and the salad bar needed refreshing

This is a nice midway point Ann Arbor and Southfield, and Ruby Tuesday is probably the best option near the M14. I guess if you want to explore downtown Plymouth there are other options, but with their salad bar, its a good option for me. This is a good place for lunch. The salad bar is the draw. It has lots of options, including four types of lettuces, many toppings and couple other mayonnaise based salads too. I typically go with one of the burger slider combo salad bar options, its enough food for lunch. They go have options, and some look interesting, but when you go to place for something they do well, I typically just stick with that option. The service is about average, fast and friendly enough - hey its a job until they find something they want to do.

Terrible meal. Mushy shrimp. Uncooked potato. Half burnt chicken fingers. Very disappointing. We won't be back. There has been a change in management and head chef and the restaurant has suffered.

Rubys is usually a good deal for the money. I have never had a bad meal and usually the food is quite good. Service is quick and attentive. When we want good food and a nice drink for a fair price, we go to rubys

I am not a fan of the classic "American" place because when I go out, I want something fun to eat that I cannot create in my own kitchen but on a whim, a couple of work buddies and I came to Ruby Tuesdays for their lunch. Service was good/quick and the food was good. I had a chicken salad, which isn't hard to mess up but overall I was really happy with this place. I will return for a quick lunch meal!

Traditional American food, while their claim to fame is Hamburgers... they don't offer the best in the area and seemed to have cut the portion sizes down. Still the food is simple and good. This location has a good garden salad bar. I found it clean and well stocked. The bar area is tight, they have a couple LCD tvs and three old CRT big boy style TVs in this area. I tend to eat there only during lunch but have done after work affair there. The Bar staff is GREAT, fast & friendly. On last visit a co-worker got a burger that was undercooked. The Manager came over promptly without us requesting. She took the burger off the check and gave us each a $2 off coupon to come back. Very nice woman!

Have been going there since they opened and they have gone downhill ever since. Their menu is extremely expensive and portions are small. Last time and final time I had to send my supposedly medium well burger back 3 times, it was rare and my bun was soggy with blood. Finally I opted to just eat my fries, forget the burger and go home hungry. The manager wasnt too apologetic he was saying they thght we were in a hurry to get back to work so they wefe rushing the cooking process. That was our last and final time there. Yuck!!

First the good: the decor is very nicely updated and has a calming effect because it's not overly accessorized and it's not too bright. I loved it. However that's where the love ended. We experienced the usual bad omen right off the bat: we had to wait a good 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our waiter, who apologized profusely. Nice personality but he had trouble remembering anything! Three times he promised biscuits before he bought ONE tiny biscuit on a platter--he explained he dropped the other one but he'll bring more next time. We experienced all the usual things you experience with a poorly trained wait staff, for example, it took forever to get the bill...then my boyfriend handed him a credit card and he walked right over to a large table and commenced to taking their order before processing our bill so we could get the heck out of there! I almost forgot about the food. My boyfriend's steak was good, although almost cold by the time he got his A-1 sauce (had to ask twice of course), and my chicken parmesan pasta was average at best. The chicken was batter-coated and too crunchy. Then they apparently put parmesan on top and put it under a broiler til the cheese was hard. And although the menu describes the pasta as being served el dente, it was overcooked. Overall this was a disappointing and crappy dining experience. If you ask me there are only two kinds of restaurants: ones you'll go back to and ones you won't. This was a "won't" for sure.

Sure, it's a chain restaurant & generally, all of these New American sit-in establishments are the same, but each of them do try to come up with little "features" to set them apart. From what I can tell, Ruby Tuesday tries to do this by having a standout salad bar, and by choosing decor details to be (or appear to be) more upscale. I am a big fan of the salad bar in particular. I have only eaten at Ruby Tuesday for lunch, and they have some great combinations to pair with the endless garden salad bar. I am trying to eat healthier and this offers a wide selection of choices that fit that bill. It certainly is fresher and has more choices than the typical salad bar - potato and pasta salad, cranberries, dark brown bread croutons, edamame, and others. At $7.99, the garden salad itself seems priced slightly on the high side, however, I think RT is pushing people to the combo meals, because for 50 cents more you can get a bowl of soup as well (I particularly like the white bean chicken chili), and that's a good value at $8.49. You can get combos with mini turkey or beef burgers, or quiche, for a couple bucks more, and I do recommend those. The other point differentiating RT from the others in this category is that they try to make an effort to be more upscale. The servers attitudes and uniforms seem more professional to me - they always appear friendly, but competent and knowledgeable, which I have not always found to be the case elsewhere. The decor is more in line with upscale restaurants (there aren't 500 random movie posters on the walls), the furniture is made of soft touch materials, and while the napkins are still paper, even they are a lot higher quality than you would expect. If you are looking for a quick reliable meal, especially for lunch, and if you like salads, as I do, Ruby Tuesday is certainly worth a try. I don't particularly look for chain restaurants first when near home, but when traveling in a new city, it is nice to find a familiar name and know what to expect.

I have always enjoyed Ruby Tuesdays, and had been to this location two times, previously, but had never written a review. My husband, mom, and two friends of ours were going to eat at Karls Cabin last night, but due to a 1.5 hour wait, we decided to go to else where. This was the closest restaurant. They had no waiting and we were seated quickly. In addition, our drink order was taken. They have a full bar and plenty of options. For dinner we ended up ordering: crab cakes, buffalo chicken minis, ribeye, shrrimp parmesan pasta, and chicken and mushroom pasta. Everything was delicious. We all enjoyed the complimentary biscuits. The service was amazing. The waitress ( I wish I could recall her name) was a jewel. She heard my mom say to our friends that my dad was in the hospital and she told my mom "Ill be praying for your husband". My mom was so touched by her comments that she forgot her glasses and the watiress had to bring them to her. Very sweet! I love Plymouth. I love all the options Ruby Tuesdays has to offer (everything from vegeterians to meat eaters). Location is great and so is the parking. I'll be back!!!

Does it make sense that the salad bar is a free side if you order the bbq chicken, but if you order the bbq rips you have to pay extra $3.49. I refused to accept this and will decrease their rating to 2 stars. I may never go back. How stupid can they get. The ribs were ok and the salad bar may be ok, but I ordered the ribs so I don't know. Alice did an excellent job serving us. This has become a marginally acceptable place to eat !!!

Only reason I came here because I had a coupon. I ordered the Typhoon Shrimp which barely had any sauce, wasn't good. I ordered Triple Prime Cheddar Bacon Burger. When I order a burger that's $12 I expect it to be perfect. First thing the bun was hard as a rock, like it was stake, wasn't even toasted. Cook must have been to lazy to toast the bun. Burger was supposed to be medium and it was well done. The only good thing about my visit was the server, her name was Tai.

A couple of times a year we end up eating at a chain restaurant like this just remind ourselves (apparently) how horrible the food is. This location of Ruby Tuesday is clean and pleasant to look at. That is where the good stuff ends. The food is horrible - cold, overcooked, unnatural looking, just gross.

I begged not to go here tonight! I am lying in bed sick again from their horrible food. Who puts a blob of butter on a grilled steak? Gross! Plus it took 25 min to get our check so we could leave and the waitress never checked on us once let alone refreshed our soft drinks. Do not go here! The service is spotty and the food is subpar. I should have just ate an apple tonight.
