I can't believe I've been passing by Happy's for so long. First, let me say that I've never had anything but the fish. And for what I wanted, it was pretty good! I ordered a combo which consisted of catfish, cod, and Cajun perch with fries. The fish was excellent! Fried of course, so not healthy, but tasty and not dripping in oil. It was very light actually! My favorite was te Cajun perch with it's spicy flavor. Next was the catfish which has always been one of my favorites (wishing for some dirty rice!). Lastly, the cod was good, but I can find cod anywhere. This location is convenient & clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I couldn't decide and even steered me towards a lower cost option to still get what I wanted. Now THAT'S customer service! Every couple of months when I get a craving for fried fish, Happy's can fill the bill at a decent price, so they'll see me again I'm sure.

Friendly staff and the wings are very good. I prefer this place to kfc. The pricing is just perfect as well. The best part is ordering online and picking up my order

I was awfully sad when Boston Market closed at 560 Ann Arbor Rd. A year later, Happy's Pizza came along and I'm happy again! The staff is very friendly and I'm embarrassed to say that they know me by name! LoL The food is always good and ready quickly!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! FRAUD!!!! At first I was all for happy pizza I was patronizing them and ordering from them anytime my kids had a craving for it. Unfortunately they got my order wrong and instead of apologizing and sending me out a new order the girl who took my order said the fryers are off and she would give me a five dollar coupon off my next order. Are you kidding me a five dollar coupon to replace a $50 order??!!!! In what world does a five dollar coupon compensate a $50 order??!! That was done all wrong??? Anyway, I called the next day and spoke with the manager who sent out a fresh new order the next day. Which was a little too late since all of my guests who did order had left the night before. All in all I was still glad he made a good attempt to resolve the situation. My next awful encounter was when my card was all of a sudden charged $39.11 for an order i never placed or received!!!! I called happys immediately and spoke to the manger who confirmed that there has Never been an order made by me for that amount. He asked me to come in with my bank statement so they could process a refund for that amount. I am a working mom of two boys who are very active with sports and other activities. I informed the manager that I did not have the time to go to my bank request a statement and then drive to his establishment. That would be a waste of gas and time in my opinion. I brought forth a different resolution to the issue. I called my bank and they informed me that happys would have to fax a letter with their company's letter head stating that said transaction was unauthorized by me and should be refunded back to my account. Which in my opinion was a convenient resolution to the problem. I presented this option to happys and they refused it. At this point I am irate and spent with the dealings of this situation. So I requested to speak with the the managers manager (everyone has a boss) and I asked the manager I was speaking with for his name. He all of a sudden became belligerent and vulgar towards me. His once professional tone turned into a threatening and dismissive one. He starred using words like ain't and not gonna. He said I ain't gonna let you speak to no one! You not getting my name and we ain't gonna give you back shit and then hung up on me!!! I was infuriated and appalled by his choice of words and his handling of a distressed customer. I then called the happys in Westland and the manager there apologized for the way I had been treated and spoken to and provided me with the phone number to a guy named Peter that handles the franchise. I called Peter the same day but he unfortunately wasn't available to speak with me. I left my call back info with the secretary promised an immediate call back. I thanked her and went about my day. Peter called me this morning and he was more or less just as bad as the awful manager at this location. He claimed to have miraculously found a purchase I made for that amount. Even tho the manager at the location confirmed and reconfirmed that there was never a purchase made for that amount under my address or card. Can you imagine the level of disgust and frustration I felt after hearing this!!!??? I mean really? When i brought to his attention that the manager from this location had already confirmed that there was never an order placed for that amount his speech became choppy and his tone changed. He became loud and dismissive just as the manager at this location. I informed him that I would never eat at happys again and I would make sure everyone who would listen heard about their fraudulent charge on my account and their terrible customer service. I also informed him that I would be reporting this ridiculous situation to the Better Business Bureau before I wished him a good day and ended the call. Stay away from happys, this is obviously a franchise that could care less about their customers. They seem to hire anyone willing to work for whatever they are willing to pay. Their staff is a plain mess, and I don't think you want your food being prepared by people who could steal your card info and are under trained by an unprofessional establishment, Protect your credit card information and save yourself some stress by spending your money elsewhere.

Ordered the ribs and I felt like I ordered just fat. The spicy Hawaiian was not cooked properly. I currently feel like I'm going to vomit. I love happy's pizza but this one was the worst I've ever been to. I would stay away and go to another one.

Ordered from happy's pizza plenty of times. This might have been one of my best pizza experiences. Order couple large pizzas and a 50 piece wings dish. Service was excellent. Manager was very helpful and provided with couple extra sauces and from utensils. Defentially will be back!

The manager has always been amazingly nice to me & I've never had a complaint about the food! The BBQ chicken pizza is my go to! Fried chicken is always awesome too. I wish more establishments were as consistently on point as this particular Happy's. I tried delivery once, but won't do it again because well... I like going in to say hi! Bravo!

I love Happy's Hawaiian deep dish pizza. I read a review below about the poor customer service experience and figured I better share my GOOD customer service experience. A few weeks ago I went in and placed my order, then decided to go out to my car to finish listening to a good story on NPR while I waited for my pizza. So there I sat, and before I knew it one of the young guys that work there brought my pizza out to my car. I thought that was SO nice of him to do that. Ok, that's all.

My review was prompted by a bad experience by Happy's Pizza. At the beginning of this month, I went online to see what kind of pizza specials were going on everywhere, as there is no shortage of pizzaria's around here. My first search came with Happy's Pizza. It was advertising Pizza Month and they had some $15 pizza deal which included a couple of pizzas and a bottle of pop. Good deal! I called and ordered my two pizzas, and had asked if chicken was an item that I could get on this deal or if it would be more. The person on the phone checked her register, and said that it rang up as a regular item. When I showed up at Happy's they said it would be $18+. I asked why, as I had ordered the $15 deal. First she said that I was being charged an extra item for ordering extra sauce. (you never know how much sauce people will put on, so I always ask for more...I dislike pizza with little sauce). I told her that nobody charges for extra sauce. She gets someone to help her, and it is discovered that contrary to what the gal said on the phone, that chicken was a supreme item (or whatever they call it) and that I would have to pay an extra fee. I was pretty unhappy, as I had a backup pizza I would have ordered had the person said that chicken would be more. I asked to talk with the manager, and a guy comes out and listens to my story. He then hunts down the person I talked with on the phone, then REPRIMANDS HER IN FRONT OF ME! I could not believe it! Then he said it would still be $18+, and that the girl screwed up, but he would make me a second pizza that would make it $15+. I asked if he would deliver it, as I had a schedule to attend to, and he said sure...for $3. I told him to keep the pizzas. I work retail, and if we tell someone, by accident, the wrong price, we honor that price. We are there to please the customer. This manager was definitely not interested in pleasing the customer, and deserves to be reprimanded himself for correcting his employee in front of me and causing her embarrassment. Happy's has good pizza, but has lost me as customer.
