We had the Chefs Salad and the Mandarin Orange Salad and both were great, but the Strawberry Shortcake was AMAZING! A must have every time you stop.

This is one of only a handful of places in town. Located right on M-13, this location is easy to access. They rotate their specials regularly and offer hefty portions. The menu seems to rather extensive and it worries me how they keep all their ingredients to cover it both in stock & fresh at the same time. The place is lived in but the servers are nice. Depending on the time of day, you can be in and out in about 40 minutes. There is nothing remarkable about this place but nothing dismal either. I think if you grew up going there, it's a mainstay for you but for newbies or passers through, it does just enough to get the job done. I'll probably never suggest going here but if I'm with a friend that wants to go, I won't turn it down.

I ordered the chicken ceaser salad, it was huge. It was very fresh and the flavors were wonderful. My friend ordered the chicken wrap and French fries. They really enjoyed their meal also. We decided to split a strawberry short cake on recommendation, from my sister,who raved about it. It was so good! The portion was huge. With two of us eating of it and didn't even finish it. I've also heard the baked good are incredible

It was OK, nothing exceptional. Service was below average. Giving it three stars because the baked goods (dinner rolls) were good, but then they are. Bakery too.

I wasn't super impressed with this place either trip but got a pretty good Pasty this trip, something I'd been craving. I haven't tried their baked goods. I was just looking for a place open for dinner so I could get a bite to eat after a long day of driving from Port Austin with stops along the way. This place did the job just fine.

This place really should be in two categories, the restaurant, and the bakery. The bakery deserves 5 stars (try the cream filled donuts) and the restaurant deserves 4. The service ranges from pretty good to awesome depending on whom you get. (Sit in the older ladies sections, they're awesome.) The food, while basic with no standout dishes will arrive hot and quickly. I eat there often and have tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is good except the H&H omelet and the deep fried pickles.
