We had catering for lunch at work from Farm Grill, and I'm so glad we did or I'd never have tried it. It's in a dirty run down plaza, you can't see inside, and it doesn't sound like Mediterranean food by the name. That said, it's decent looking inside and the food is very very good. Recommend the garlic spread on everything, because it's amazing and otherwise the food can be dry. Chicken shawarma sandwich for lunch is less than $4 and a good sized portion. Juices are mostly made of carrots, in my experience, but still good. Baklava is a pass.

Always received fast and friendly service and the good has always been perfectly cooked. Deboned chicken is my normal choice, the salad and rice as sides are also very good. It appears to be family owned and this is one of only 2 Mediterranean restaurants I visit.

Family out to eat for lunch. Everything was great: new interior, service, and the food! Meat grape leaves- yogurt : very tasty. Humus- bread : great! We all had shawarma's- lamb & chicken (with garlic paste) : all very good. We all ordered another to go for later! Rice was very good and cabbage/lamb soup is a must. We did not have any desert- don't know if I could have eaten another bite. Plenty of food. The bill for the four of us was $60.00, so for $15.00 each well worth the value.

Best Mediterranean food. Better than anything I have had in Detroit, and all over Oakland County. The remodel is nice, the place is really comfortable now, and the food is just as awesome as it ever was. The young man waiter with the brown hair, who is a fixture, is one of my favorite parts. Their appetizer platter is a dinner in itself but we love their broiled chicken, salad dressing and lamb dishes as well. Brick oven pita now too!

It is a great place. They remodeled the inside and it looks great. The food is really good. Todd

I am on the lookout for a new Middle Eastern place near work for days when I forget my lunch or don't have a meeting. The Farm Grill is the closest option to my office. However, its not my favorite. It's not nearly as tasty as Sheesh which was near my old office, nor are the portions as generous. ( I MISS YOU SHEESH). I have tried the lentil soup (very bland in my opinion) the fattoush salad (doesn't taste traditional to me) and a schwarma sammie, which was dry and without sauce. I also find the inside of the place to be dirty, although they are doing some renovations... i still see a lot of disorganization and it is a turn off for me.

I have been stopping for carry out on my way to work and have been impressed. Good food, fair prices, always ready when I arrive. I will probably try to dine here when my brother (vegetarian) is here from California next week.

Always Great Food and Great Service! I've been coming here since 2011 and it was good then but it's gotten even better since. Me and my sons favorite dish is the rice almond salad with chicken schwarma on top but I've also had the lamb chops and lamb Shish kabobs as well...all are very good choices.

Delicious Falafel sandwich! Farm grilled veggies are divine. and the grilled chicken amazing. We also love the garlic dip. The carrot, beet, orange is my favorite of the raw juices. This is healthy eating at its best!!!

I believe the stories about the hairs in the food. I was grossed out as well watching the cooks prepare the food while I waited for my carry out order. Neither of the two wore gloves and I watched the cook move the rice on a plate to be served with his hands. The sandwiches tasted OK, but I felt the place was dirty. The twenty something manager looked messy as well. Won't go back.

Stopped here for a carryout sandwich and really liked it i used to go to other middle eastern places in the area but this one is the best so far. The place looks great from inside. I am gonna go here every week now for sandwiches.

Newly remodeled inside but food the food hasn't changed which has always been great! Always hot and arrives quickly. Servers are attentive and prompt

Always friendly service. Really good food. Fattoush salad is quite tasty. Hummus is also really fresh and served with delicious bread. About as good as it gets outside of Dearborn.

This is a good place to go for Mediterranean food. I have never dined in so I can't speak to their wait service, but the food is good. I usually order their sandwiches, which are delicious and often under $4. My favorite is the hummus tabbouleh wrap. Very tasty! They do a lot of carry out business, so depending on the day/time you may want to call ahead for your order to save a few minutes. Be sure to check your local coupon clippers, Farm Grill often had coupons for 10% off total order, free baklava with purchase, and buy one/get one half off dinner coupons.

My husband found this place and gave it good reviews. I followed his good review and went here on my own for a quick dinner. This place is towards the back of the complex it's in. It's in the complex south of the complex with the CVS and Secretary of State. It's directly next to Burrito King (which is also on my list of things to try). I walked in and the place was mostly empty, but they seemed to be doing brisk business in carry out -- which makes sense for a Thursday eventing. I ordered a chicken Schwarma sandwich and added in tabbouleh because I love it. I only waited a few minutes, but two people came in to pick up their carry out orders and one more person placed one. Like I said, brisk carry out service. I got my sandwich for less than $5 and took it home. The chicken Schwarma sandwich was delicious. Wrapped in a warm, soft pita, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The tabbouleh I added gave it a bit of acidity, and the yogurt sauce in the sandwich gave it a tangy creamy taste. For a little extra zing, there was a pickle wrapped up in it. The pickle was an odd addition, but it actually really worked. The whole sandwich was very delicious. I grabbed a menu to go and they also have all the middle eastern favorites I love: kibbeh, stuffed grape leaves, felafel, lentil soup, etc. I plan on being back! Probably often if I can often get a sandwich like I did for less than $5 and a 4 minute wait!

The crushed lentil soup is the best! Simple ingredients and no bad oils. Garlic sauce is also excellent, just pureed garlic with lemon and olive oil.

Like other reviews have noted, this is good middle eastern for this area. The chicken shawarma is very good here. Reasonably priced, friendly service. Will come again.

The first time I went, the place smelled of paint and was being remodeled. The server went to one of the tables where he apparently had his lunch hidden away and scarfed down as much of a roll as he could, then came back and continued to wait on us. This grossed me out even more when my mom told me she had gone with her sister-in-law, and they found a pubic hair in their food! I try not to make a judgment about a place until I've given them multiple chances. Most recently when I went for take-out, the guy who I perceived to be the owner gave me a look of disgust when I kindly asked for ketchup, and was not professional in the least. When I left, my order wasn't right. So it's safe to say, I gave them enough of a chance and I won't be going back.

Great food! They go out of their way to make their customers happy. Love the staff, always pleasant and happy to see you :) Chicken shwarma sandwiches is my favorite!

their shawarma is the best, whenever I feel in the mood for something special, quick and very tasty I go there to get a shawarma

A friend of mine had recomended this place to me many times. I ordered a lamb shawarma sandwhich and chicken shawarma sandwich. There wasnt to much meat in the sandwhich, lot of veggies. They were ok at best. Ive had better.

Went late afternoon for lunch and there was only one other customer eating. We sat down and were greeted quickly. The decor is dated and the place appeared slightly dirty. Dirty walls, ext. They have raw juice options which my husband really liked because he is on a juicing fad. In comparison to places like whole foods the juice was really cheap. I believe around 2.75 for a glass. They had many different options to choose from. We got a lunch special. It came with a side salad, rice or fries, and a meat. I choose a chicken option with rice and it was delicious. I came with garlic sauce which was amazing. I bought a large container of it to take home. The menu appeared to have many different options including a large vegetarian section. I would frequent this place more often if it was closer by.

Awesome food, fast and friendly service, and it's relatively good for you. The portions are large, I always get full. It's nice to have a place that you can always count on the food to be good, and the staff to be smiling. I would recommend this place to everyone!

In my opinion this is a great middle eastern spot. I opt for this one 1st in my area. I love to eat there. The food is great . Highly recommend if your in the area.

Decent place but very busy during lunch time. The waiter today never refilled our water or checked on us. Had to ask him 3 times for carry out boxes and a bag. The table we were at was sticky and questionable if you know what I mean. The food was tasty and plentiful but I could see the kitchen and frankly I won't be back because it just did not seem all that clean.

I ordered the chicken schwarma dinner for carryout twice. It was really good and it was a large portion. I had plenty of leftovers. My only complaint is that the chicken lemon rice soup didn't have much chicken in it. I will be returning.

The food here is hit or miss depending on what you order. The biggest gripe I have is the cleanliness of the business and their food handling practices. There are plenty of violations going on here. For the area, sure it's decent, but there are plenty of other much better choices for this cuisine outside of the area.

Farm Grill is near a friend's work place and I know he eats there often. I've been there with him 3 or 4 times now. They are a small little place, very busy at lunch time, with some decent middle-eastern food. The nice part is that they are very affordable. They make a nice hummus and a fabulous garlic (spread). I've had the meat grape leaves and hummus sandwich, which was nice. I felt it needed a little more something in it. The chicken shawarma is very nice, and a good portion of food for $4, but my favorite sandwich is the mixed meat shawarma. It has chicken and beef (I think) and it comes packed with flavor. There are better middle-eastern places to eat at, but none close enough to have a quick lunch with above-mentioned friend in the vicinity of his work place.

I decided to give this place a try, I drive by this place almost every day, but for what ever reason I never stopped in. I was a little confused when I walked in as where to get takeout, the cash register area looks like it's a place that is reserved for the staff and not the customers, actually if you sit on the right side of the restaurant you feel like you're in the kitchen, I would sit on the other side. But since this is so close to my house and I really don't care for the decor, I'll just do the take out thing. I got a lot of food for the money, and everything tasted pretty good. The staff was super friendly too, I'll surly put this on my list of frequented visited neighborhood restaurants. See My pics

You'll never find Middle Eastern Food in the states to be as tasty, fresh and organic as you can get it in the Middle East... But this is the closest thing to the Arabic Food of Dearborn in this neck of the woods. I'd rank it second place, just behind La Marsa in Farmington Hills.

  • Heidi B.

Yuck. Seriously bad. Falafel sandwich dry, cardboard bread, funky tasting hummus. Was I expecting Dearborn quality? No. But hoping for a lot more. Not to mention the location is pure ghetto and it was questionable whether I wanted to get out of my car. If this place is hit or miss, I truly hope tonight was a miss. If that was a hit, they need to travel back to the old country and get some tips. Won't be returning.

Incredibly fresh and flavorful food. They are fast, even though everything is made to order and using fresh ingredients. The food is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Great middle eastern food in Wixom/Novi area. I don't have to go all the way to Dearborn any more :-)

This is a great place for mediterranean cuisine and probably my favorite place for food in general for the Novi/Wixom border area. I moved out of state for 2 years and found myself longing for this place often. Nice atmosphere that would accommodate larger groups, very friendly waitress/cook, TV, Excellent food. The higher prices for dinner are offset by the relatively cheap prices for lunch. I highly recommend the Starter Combo for an appetizer (incredibly delicious) and lamb or chicken shawarma dinner platter. Just moved back to the area and visited again - it's been remodeled and seems more spacious, still the same friendly waitress/cook and great food. I love this place.

Great chicken shwarma and their garlic paste/sauce is wonderful. Creepy plaza, but that can be overlooked! Good stuff, great prices

I've went there twice and won't be back. I am arabic so I guess I am particular to strong flavors, this place is just bland. The chicken tikka was a piece of chicken mashed together and tasted like cardboard. The rice was so so oily and the tabbouli was all lemon juice with no paprika or oil. It was expensive as well, I paid $15 for the chicken tikka and tabbouli during lunch time. There is way better.

I used to get food from here a lot when I lived in MI. The Lentil soup is awesome. The sandwiches are great and cheap. The falafel and hummus are good, as well as the smoothies. The service is excellent, everyone is very nice. Plus you can get take out if you like. This was my favorite local middle eastern food restaurant. The food was good and the price was right!

I did a "yelp" search in order to locate a middle eastern restaurant in the area and I've only recently started working here. I ordered a rice almond salad w/chicken (extra $3) as a take out. Since I had never been I asked the waitress if my salad came with the usual bread & garlic, it came with the bread but the garlic is an extra $1.29 so needless to say my lunch ended up being over $10. Which I don't mind paying when I'm getting decent food. I was completely disappointed in the taste of the chicken and how it looked. It was very fatty, had no spice taste, and had a brown color, which I admit I don't know if that was from the marinade. Also, the majority of my salad was the rice which filled the whole bottom of the take out box. Hardly any salad at all and I always get this same salad and most places serve the rice as an accent not the main part of it. I probably wouldn't go back because the thought of seeing that chicken again grosses me out.

I love this place for clean eating and big taste! The owner/manager seems to put a good deal of effort into making the recipes healthful and you will not find excess oil and you will notice the freshness! We are always amazed by the crispness of the flavors--lemon, garlic, parsley, hummus, baba ganoush will all taste as if they were prepared that day! Order a fresh squeezed juice and watch or hear them make it on the spot. My husband and I particularly enjoy the tabouli, the falafel appetizer, the baba ganoush (has a real roasted flavor) and the fresh squeezed juices at the Farm Grill. Their fatoush is also typically a notch above other restaurants that serve this dish because of the rich flavor of the salad dressing. This place is great for take out in the evenings because they are usually not crowded at that time and can get you your food in under 15 minutes. They are also open until 11 most days which is convenient for late night ordering! They have recently renovated their dining room and increased in ambiance and this definitely enhances the dining experience. I would call this an upscale diner with 5 star food. Bottom line: the owner cares about the food and the restaurant and it shows!

The best Mediterranean food we've had in the local area. Will definitely be coming back again.

Go here for take out almost once a week for lunch. I always order the hummus and tabouli sandwich with a side of the garlic spread (you HAVE to get the spread...seriously). The veggie platter is great for us vegetarians and their crushed lentil soup is awesome on a chilly day. The staff is always welcoming and nice, as well. You can tell it's a family-owned business -and I enjoy supporting local. Love, love, love Farm Grill.

I love the food here. Best Lebanese food in the Commerce/Novi/Walled Lake area. I come here once a week for dinner or lunch, and the food is always on point. HOWEVER, they really need to get the front of the house figured out. The last 3 times I've been here, the service has been incredibly slow due to understaffing. It's always the same poor guy, running around like a maniac during lunch/dinner rush: handling carry out orders, taking phone orders, making smoothies, and waiting tables. GET THIS MAN SOME HELP! I commend the guy for handling all that on his own, but it's frustrating to customers. There should be more than ONE freaking waiter working on a Saturday night.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Probably the best garlic around. So many times I wish I could keep a list of Middle Eastern places & how their garlic paste tastes because you get places where it tastes like sour cream & other places where it is amazing. And Farm Grill is at the top of my list of I made one. It has been the go to Middle Eastern establishment for my family for the last 6yrs & we live over 8 miles away but it is close to work for me. Great prices & a nice carry out place.
