Zoup is another place that I can't believe I've never reviewed. I l-o-v-e Zoup! I've never -- not even once -- had a soup from Zoup that I didn't like. Of special note: chicken pot pie; lobster bisque; and split pea. Every soup comes with a boule of bread. I always choose sourdough. You can also order sandwiches and salads from Zoup. I usually stick to the soup, but when I do order something else, I choose the caper tuna salad sandwich or salad. Very tasty. And don't forget dessert! I opt for the oatmeal cookie or the brownie. Both will more than satisfy that sweet tooth.

They'll have 10 or so rotating soup choices per day, with a couple standards due to popularity, but I've found all of their descriptions sound better than they taste. Now, don't get me wrong...if you want soup, you'll find something you'll finish here. But you may find yourself saying "X does better chowder" or "Y does better chicken chili". They also make salads and sandwiches, to round out your meal, made fresh in front of you when you order. Soup comes with your choice of cold bread. Good, but not great.

I really like the soup here. It had a nice taste to it, good quality, I like the fact they let you try out the soup. I like the fact they have free wi-fi though I didn't use it. The service was good, I can't really pick out anything that I didn't like about the overall experience. It however, didn't have anything extra that would bump it over to a 4 or a 5, a grilled cheese sandwich for almost 6 bucks? Seriously?? The pricing for the soup wasn't terrible, but the sandwich was not that well made, and it was overpriced.

A little on the pricey side. So far that's the only con I can pick out. But it's definitely not enough to keep me away. Today I had a bowl of the Lobster Bisque which had tons of lobster and a great buttery taste. It was paired with a sourdough roll, which I liked. Not too hard, not too soft and had a great taste. I can definitely see myself frequenting this place.

Awesome tomatoe bisque and chicken chili. A little pricey but worth it for the flavor and adding a bit of variety eating out. Definitely beats panera soup hands down.

Good place for lunch once in awhile. The Lobster Bisque is awsome ! Service was good, and the people are very friendly. It's worth the visit !

We've been to this Zoup many times but I have never reviewed them. This is really a consistently three star fast food place. Maybe four star. Today I got a cup of lobster bisque and a Sadoma salad. My wife got the crab & corn chowder and an MTV sandwich. We got it all to go. Later that evening we ate dinner for less than $20 and everything was great. Hard to beat.

Normally you can depend on this chain. But I found this location is a dud. I had the loco burrito salad and corn red pepper soup. Soup was luke warm! The chips in salad were stale and generic in look and taste. The service was poor. Try a different branch, stay away from Novi.

Apparently, this location likes to stretch their soups. 2nd time I've bought chicken pot pie soup that was watery when I got home. Not even thick enough to hold the pie crust crumbs on top. Manager's response: "Yeeeeeah." Beware!

Our food was good and the prices were right. The only thing lacking is a little more training for both workers. Zack was a great guy but he seemed new. Kelly, however did not have a good attitude and was slightly argumentative when I had a problem. He seemed to be adequately trained in everything except manors. The supervisor was not listed on the receipt nor there in person to talk to. Good job Zack. Too bad for Kelly and the manager.

I have never been to Zoup before today. Nice restaurant. Free samples available. Interesting menu. Healthy items identified. Chicken broth you can drink!?!? The sign said free wi-fi, I didn't try. Yep, a little pricey. I recommend.

I love this place. The manager is so friendly and he has a good staff. My favorite chicken pot pie, of course. But close runner up is the Santa Fe chicken chili - had it today!

There was a small issue with my online order. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of and completely satisfied. Excellent customer service!!!

I think I may want to point out that I have a definite bias, I went here when I was sick and soup was the most perfect thing ever at that moment. I had the vegetarian split pea and it was quite yummy. I have had veggie split pea before, elsewhere and its always been a bit too high on the sodium content for my taste. This was not the case at Zoup. I really dig the soup concept, cold days just call for hot soup, and the fact that they every day offer a vast variety, cater to vegetarian, even vegan options, have spicy things, seafood things, hearty soups and lighter (more broth based) soups makes this place win. The $6 for a grilled cheese seemed a little steep and i have to 100% honest their sour dough was meh. Not hard enough on the outside, not sour enough on the inside... Overall this place seemed very clean, that was nice. I'd totally go back, sick or not. When its cold (anything below like 50f) I love having soup. :D

I ate there for the first time yesterday. The service was ok. The food was ok. I got a cobb salad, a chicken tuscan sandwich, and a cup of sirloin chili. It was less than expected and I don't feel like I will be going back any time soon.

I love the concept, but the product suffers from a chain restaurant classic: too much salt! I would love to see a local, homemade soup place offer something more. Haggerty Man is yet to find good soup along the thoroughfare. Hamtramck, here I come!

Have not found a soup I don't like. Stay away from the grilled cheese sandwich though... it sucks.

Friendly service in this fast casual restaurant. The salad was excellent, fresh greens and no brown lettuce. The soup was okay, not bad, but did not "wow" my taste buds. I would eat here again.

Yes, I know it's very popular among a nitch group of people, but I just cannot get with having soup for lunch. Sure, you get a piece of bread and a small side salad if I choose, but..... I want to eat something!
