It's getting late so I'm writing 2 coffee reviews in a row this evening, what can I say. My previous review was for this chain's DTP location, but I much prefer this DTN (?!) location for two simple reasons. 1. They have my beloved Clover machine coffee (there are only 4 of these in MI) 2. The place looks like it's straight out of 'Snowwhite'. DUH. Okay, 3: there's a fireplace upstairs. Yeah, 4: there is an upstairs and 5. they have very friendly and fast staff.

This is a typical Starbucks with friendly employees, consistent beverages, and free wifi. This is our go to location, because it is close to us. With that said, this is a pretty great location due to it being right in downtown Northville, three different seating areas (upstairs, downstairs, and outside), and 15 minute parking spots out front. We enjoy stopping here on the way out of town, back into town, or while walking through Northville. We have only had one negative experience here, when a new employee made our drinks wrong on a carryout order. The next day we returned and without question they replaced the drinks, which the manager made herself. Overall, this is a great location. I can't give any Starbucks a 5 star rating, because of the ridiculous prices for coffee drinks and lack of special deals. If you are looking for a Starbucks this one will fit the bill.

This location has the Clover coffee maker. Takes a little longer but is worth the wait and asking for.

Tried to get a simple ice tea and it took 20 minutes. After watching 6 people who ordered long after me, I asked why it is taking so long. The response from the manager was that hot drinks get priority. Not the best response. Especially when I ordered a simple iced tea. They did not even apologize and acted as if they did not care. This is my third bad experience at this location. I think it is time to replace the manager and get better staff. This could be the worst run Starbucks I have ever been to.

The layout of this location is pretty cool. There is an upstairs area that has tables to work if needed. My drink was perfect and the barista was friendly. My only concern was the large slippery area of melted snow when coming in, at the register and to the bathrooms. There were no warning signs and no rugs to help. I hope they fixed this. Besides that, a nice hangout to chat or do business.

The Starbucks has nice staff but every time I go I'm usually waiting 10 or 15 minutes for my drink usually with only two or three other customers waiting. Like I said they're very friendly but definitely the slowest Starbucks I've been to

Great place to get a cup of coffee and a great snack to go along with it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about Starbucks products. The location itself is excellent as well, in the heart of downtown Northville.

The Story is when i walked into Starbucks got a drink with my friend and ordered a cookie straw which was almost broken. I sat down with my friend and started tapping the table with it and it broke in one tap. Then I asked the guy if I could get a new one because it broke and he said "No, you were hitting it on the table and broke it yourself." Than covered the cookie straw with his hands and waited for me to back off (which I did) and gave me this stare and I just walked out with my drink ruining the rest of my day. Thanks :/.

Quirky location setup, but nice! The upstairs offers a nice separation from the rest of the shop, with the expected drop in noise level.

I've been going here for years! The interior is beautiful and service is great! My go to drink is a Carmel macchiato or tall pike place (with a splash of milk). I'm never dissappointed!

"It's Starbucks. Aren't they all the same? Also, why would you go to Starbucks?" I get it. Really, I do. But I've stopped mourning the passage of Novi's Coffee Trader and Cup O Joe, and now that I'm older and have sold out, Starbucks just kind of works. I'm not entirely sure how I stumbled upon the downtown Northville location, but it was one of those "I'll try it, but I'm sure I'm not going to like it" kind of expeditions that totally changed my mind. The staff is exceedingly nice and efficient, and the layout and decor seem to eschew the typical strip-mall Starbucks, giving this location legitimate character. Despite passing several Starbucks locations with a drive-thru, and one in my own town, I somehow find myself here several times a week.

The staff at the Starbucks is always extremely friendly and most of them take pride in remembering your name. The only complaint I have is this Starbucks is out of two or three products every single week that I come in from flavored teas to pretzels to scones you name it are always out of something.

I go to starbucks every day and I have been to starbucks in many different countries and states (hence the gold card) and I have got to say that this is the most impressive one I've been to. It is conventionality located about a mile from where I live and the building/set up is beautiful. The staff is okay (not the greatest) and the people who come in to this starbucks act like they are entitled but I still love this location. I am the kind of person to grab and go, not sit in a starbucks, but this seems like a great location to people watch.

I've used this location a few time to catch up on some work on the road. Free wifi, good coffee, staff has always been friendly. Seating has changed recently and I'm not sure I like it from a functional stand point, ideally as a mobile worker I would prefer individual sitting desks that I could work from, but I also understand they have to cater to other people, so meh.

This is a review for the Northville, Main St location only. This is typical Starbucks fare, but I like the layout (for the most part). The upstairs is kind of nice, cuts down on the noise factor from the machines. They have outdoor seating which is also nice. Service was good, and friendly staff. What I didn't like was outside seating was very limited and felt a bit cramped. Bugs. Natty bugs I mean. I know this is sometimes inherent with the time of the year, but annoying none the less. They seem clean and so not sure why the bug situation, but worth a note as it was pretty annoying.

It is obvious that this Starbucks has been recently redone when you walk in. Everything is new and in great condition. There is plenty of seating, and I love the window seats that remind me of Starbucks in Chicago. They also expanded there patio. This Starbucks has an upstairs, which was very cool! There are even bookshelves upstairs with free books to read, so many that it's like a library. I am hooked on this Starbucks. The customer service is hands down the best i've encountered, and I am always greated with a smile. I've noticed that this Starbucks treats customers like family, and that alot of people come here just to meet up and talk with friends. There is even a place that you can sit and watch the Barista's make drinks. pretty cool! I've recently discovered that they have installed a Clover machine, popular in places like Times Square in New York, and in California. I've tried the coffee this lovely machine makes and I am amazed each time. Starbucks in Downtown Northville also offers rare coffees from around the world, like Kona from Hawaii. You just can't beat the selection of coffee's they offer, and they are only the 2nd store in Michigan to provide this Clover brewing option.

This is a pretty good Starbucks. Unique store layout, has an upstairs that helps with the typical coffee shop noise. Staff is typically friendly and quick. Parking is decent.
