The waiters was absolutely amazing. She met and exceeded my expectations. I was there with a group of friends for lunch and do some work. The first impression could use some work but management started today the iPad device on the tables. The waiters was trained on up selling it and felt uncomfortable doing it. Personal opinion Olive Garden is not the market to use those. They have a brand image of up scale and family oriented. The device takes way from interaction with family. I had a Alfredo pasta with chicken with salad and bread sticks. It was perfect. This location is a accurate representation of Olive Garden.

Maybe I'm a bit biased because I typically don't eat at chains. But seriously, this was bad, really, really bad. I was in town to visit family and they wanted to go, so along I went. It was the middle of the afternoon as we were having a late lunch. Our waitress was a younger lady who seemed to be in a state of being frazzled, I'm not sure why as there were only a few tables full. She brought us salad and breadsticks. The salad basically had no dressing on it so my mother had to flag down the other waiter because our waitress was nowhere to be seen. She never refilled the water or the breadsticks. When it came time to deliver the entrees, mine was the wrong thing. I'm really bewildered how she got it wrong because the two entrees sounded absolutely nothing alike. I should have just kept what they gave me but I sent it back. The remainder of my family had finished eating by the time I received my meal. So they had to wait for me to eat. I got a primavera lasagna with chicken. Okay, the lasagna tasted pretty good but it was small. The portion was so tiny for $12 for lunch. On top of that, the few strips of "chicken" literally were some sort of mystery meat. I've never tasted chicken like that. It was rubbery and disgusting. The waitress brought the bill and they charged us full price for my entrée. I'm not someone who looks to make a stink just so I can get free stuff at a restaurant but come on, they delivered the wrong entrée and it took a ridiculously long time to get the correct entrée.

It was PACKED when I went (noon on a Saturday) - the staff were clearly overwhelmed and were rushing around. We were seated much sooner than we expected (in 20 minutes vs the 1 hour wait time we were told), and got to sit in the corner "private" area. The staff was a little moody, as the busy atmosphere clearly made them weary. The salad and breadsticks were good, but the main course portions were kinda small and unimpressive. If you're looking for Italian food, there's other, better options in Midland

Now that they are past the opening pains, this has got to be one of the better Olive Gardens that I've been to. There must be something in their gene Poole ...

Way better than the Saginaw Olive Garden; service is better and the new construction of course is brighter and more appealing. However, it's still an Olive Garden. The food is pretty mediocre for what you get and I believe the quality of the chain continues to go down where it's nothing special. I used to really enjoy the salad years ago but I've been here with my mom twice since it opened and both times the salad tasted like ammonia or plastic. If you are craving really good pasta, try D'Alessandro's. But if for whatever reason you just want Olive Garden, this one is at least better than the Saginaw location by a long shot.

Fast service, food was correct temperature, waitress stopped by correct amount of times and frequencies. New menu has good variety. Low calorie options are better than most. Overall, I would return.

What happened Olive Garden. My wife actually liked her order. The service itself was great. I however did not have a good meal. The bread sticks were not as flavorful as the should have been based on previous experiences (Fazolis was better, and that's saying something) My steak was charred on one side, and I asked for it Medium rare. To top it off the child in the next booth and mother were being a royal pain. Why would I pay $40 for a meal when I could go downtown and get great food for $30 plus a generous tip. The ser

We ordered carry out. I was on time to pick up the food (and it was ready), but when I got home 10 minutes later it was COLD. Clearly it has been made way ahead and left to sit. The ravioli was tough and tasteless. Since we didn't eat in the restaurant, I can only comment on my perception of the dining area: cramped and loud. I've been to much better Olive Gardens, and will not be in a hurry to return to this one. Better food is definitely available for my money.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
