Matty’s Pizza

LOVE Matty's pizza! Took over Sbarro's place at the mall. They taste similar. We buy a whole pizza which is like 8 HUGE slices and my hubby and I eat ALL of it in one sitting! Well, our 3 year old helps too but she has maybe 1 piece! Honestly, the whole pizza is just the best deal and we only eat it all so we don't have to carry the box around the mall with just a slice or 2 left! But we are SO stuffed after we can barely walk the mall anyway! :) If you want just a slice, their breadsticks and breadstick bites are really good, as is the salad. The workers are nice too and when we order a whole pizza it takes only about 10 minutes!

Jet’s Pizza

Reviews:
I live in California but come to Michigan a few times a year. It's good every time. I always get the 8 corner rectangular pizza with poppyseed crust and extra sauce. Very fattning I'm sure but worth it!
The fact that Jet's Pizza is rated as one of Midland's top restaurants tells two stories. The first being the sorry state of dining in the city of Midland. The second being how well this chain pizzeria treats its customers. I recently went there to pick up a pizza on a Friday night, so it was super busy. However, the person behind the counter was very friendly and courteous to each customer. I sampled the BBQ Chicken pizza they had set out for people to try, which was very good. The person at the counter asked how I liked it and I inquired about the BBQ sauce that they use. He said it wasn't available in stores, but gave me a dipping container of it to take with me (without me asking). He also offered Halloween candy to a boy who came in with his dad and invited the young man to come back for trick-or-treating when they would have big candy bars to pass out. The couple of other workers I dealt with were friendly, too. The pizza was very good. The service was excellent. If you want a great carry-out experience, I recommend this Jet's location.
Jet's was highly recommended to us by locals. It's good. Very friendly staff and good services which is probably what gets all the good reviews. The pizza itself is good but nothing to brag about. Thick crust, which is good or bad depending on your preference.

We have been here twice now and the food is always fantastic. We have not been disappointed. There were 6 in our party. The Fathers Day steak and rib specials were delicious. They pay attention to all of the details and the owner is super.
Great food small town place never knew it was here until a friend told me Burrito was great as was the grinder
Great little small town restaurant. Interesting menu, I.e., today's soup was Cajun Bayou. I did not expect that from such an out in the boonies restaurant. Good quality food and attentive servers.

This is a great Starbucks! People are super nice and knowledgable, and do their very best to provide a high quality product, very quickly! We've travelled up and down I-75/US-10 for years and this the best SB on the route!
Amazing coffee and even better service!
Hands down the best Starbucks I've been to! The baristas are warm and friendly, and they'll remember your name and drink pretty quickly. The seating area is warm and cozy, and it was a perfect environment for me to study on the weekends and get work done. I love the free samples and interesting concoctions that the baristas will whip up for me to try!

Dropped into Stackers from Breakfast and was extremely impressed. This little diner in a strip mall left me full and satisfied. The portiin sizes are large and their staff is friendly. We were in and out in no time and it was pretty busy. Take note of the special board as to not miss anything. I had the omlette which I could have shared with the wife if I wanted too. We will be back.
Just want to say thank you for taking care of my parents and their group of 11 this morning. Im writing this on their behalf. They said Wendy was the server and just so nice! They were visiting Midland and had seen this on Yelp. Can't wait to try it myself when I visit! They brought me an awesome cinnamon roll!
Food was great. Some staff was a little standoffish at first but the server was wonderful.

So we turned up on a Sunday afternoon hungry, and we needed something delicious, quick, not too expensive. This hit the spot! Staff were friendly, explained the menu. 3 of us had different sandwiches - and all of them were awesome. I had the 'Moo and Cluck' - totally rate it! You can make/design your own, change your bread up (I went for Challah), they also have a good drink/salad/side selection. I only wish this place was local to me! I'd be there most days... :D
Good spot for a quick lunch. Expensive, but tasty.
Had a great experience here. The food was fresh and great. The sandwiches are stacked high and they don't skimp on meat. I had the goose ruben. The rye bread was delicious. Service was nice and fast. The young lady there was very friendly and ensured we where okay. I will defiantly be coming back my next trip through midland.

Reviews:
Very good chicken salad and sandwiches. Sides are decent. Only complaint is that it is a little spendy for fast food, however it also better
A little too pricey for the salads. $10.28 gets you a medium drink and a large chicken salad. The large chopped chicken salad is basically bagged lettuce (the kind with shredded purple cabbage and carrots) and chopped light/dark chicken. It doesn't come with croutons, tomatos, or anything else. It's a tasty salad (with the house dressing) but I find it hard to pay that much that often on that salad.
My favorite place to eat lunch in Midland! I think it's a chain, but they don't have them on the east coast where I'm from, so new to me. I usually only ever get the chicken Caesar salad, but the chicken and salad dressing are fantastic :). The pita bread is also really tasty! I don't live in midland anymore, but when I visit, I always stop here for a salad!

Fuji Sushi

1512 Joe Mann Blvd
Midland, 48642
Reviews:
Absolutely the best available road food from Detroit to your Up North destination! The kani (crab) salad is off the hook.. Fresh shredded crab (imitation? IDGAF it's awesome) and this tangy ponzu mayo dressing! Love their lunch specials to share.. 3 rolls with salad was a perfect lunch for 2! The Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna & Spicy Salmon all pretty solid. We call ahead and grab Fuji fast.. There's a Starbucks across the street, making this a great pit stop on a long drive. Arriving at our destination in the Cherry Capital was much nicer without a belly full of crappy fast food.. Ready to enjoy real farm to table delights & local artisanal beers!
Something that doesn't make sense: The best sushi I've had is in Midland, MI. It's not on the cost, its Midland...lol. Anyway, the Residence Inn we were at was right down the road from Fuji, so we decided to walk over. There were a few tables seated, but plenty remained open. We were quickly seated by the friendly hostess and brought menus and water. We settled on splitting two rolls and some dumplings. The dumplings came out first. They were quite good--light and not too greasy. Then the sushi came out. My goodness, it was absolutely amazing. Many sushi restaurants like to get fancy and deep fry their rolls, serve them with sauce, and do weird things. Fuji didn't do any of that. They let the fish speak for itself, and boy was it good. Everything tasted fresh, and the rolls were big. Two was enough for the both of us who have big appetites. The service was good as well. Our waitress was efficient and always had a smile on her face. If I'm ever in Midland again, I will make it a point to stop here. Really great stuff.
Went for lunch. It is very clean and comfortable. Ginger salad was good. I had the 11.95 lunch option for three rolls. Spicy yellowtail/tuna/salmon. Sushi was standard. The reason I gave five stars was due to the service speed and flexibility. We had a person in our party forget to ask for the soy wrap and they redid the rolls for her. Also, I asked for additional ginger and they gave me a healthy amount extra. I was please with the price and my overall experience. I will recommend this in the future.
