This has to be one of my favorite go to places in Midland! The food is always excellent, I always end up with one of they gyros or wraps, the nachos are HUGE but well worth it if you have more than one person and they never had an issue making them with chicken for me as I do not eat red meat. The staff is very friendly and fun, the atmosphere is always inviting and it always seems like the perfect place to end up. During the day they always have some game on for everyone to enjoy and in the evening later in the week they even have what I call Scary-oke....although I would never get up and sing, it is always a good time to sit around with friends have a couple drinks and enjoy the people that have the guts to get up and belt out a song or 3. You often would not think of eating at bar/restaurant inside of a bowling alley, but the decor is very log cabin and provides a great place to just hang out with friends. Once you are finished eating you can always bowl or play a game of indoor golf! Either way Gimmicks is one of the best little spots in Midland, as horrible as the Moose Chips probably are for your heath, they are amazing! I have never had a bad experience here and the staff is always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate me and my friends.

This place is a staple for people who work in the area. Great pizza, salads and soups but the breadsticks are my favorites. The staff is friendly and have amazing memories! If you want to frequent a place where they remember "your usual" each time you come in this is the place.

This place is hit or miss I've had some great food, chicken wrap and grilled cheese which are not that hard to mess up but are tastier then average here. Not so great, roast beef Au jus and nachos.....the au jus was a flavorless broth with what looked like grease drippings from the grill, and the nachos were more chips then toppings I make better at home especially for the price!

Ordered a pizza. Waiter came by a few times over the course of about 45 minutes to tell us it would just be "a couple more minutes". Finally, we gave up and went elsewhere. Won't be back.

Located in the Valley Lanes in Midland. Well stocked bar and an excellent selection of menu items. Well worth the effort to go there.

Gimmick's has some pretty darn good food. When a joint serves fries by the pound, I'm an instant fan. My friends rave of the pita sandwiches. The atmosphere is cabin-esque, featuring a fire place and stuffed critters. Nice place to chill, maybe bowl a game, play some vids. Has a lovely patio area, as well. PoPcoRmz!

In summary, Gimmick's is a fine place for a drink or snack, especially when bowling. I'd be happy to discover it in my local bowling alley, but I'm not sure I'd drive there just to eat.

My kids love playing at the adjoining miniature golf place, we get dinner when we do. Food is decent/ solid. The restaurant is pretty good, solid value pub type atomsphere. It is close to where I work and it is the other place we take vendors to for lunch.
