If you are not a local you get ignored. When the bartender final did get to us she said, " Are you waiting for someone or do you want something?" We were served one drink each and ignored. No one ever came back to check on us or even ask if we would like another.

All you could ask for from a neighborhood bar. I spent more than my fair share of time here during my NMU days. I make it a point to visit whenever I'm in the UP. Good music at the right volume and bar tenders that are friendly and serve their customers. This is the place to start/finish or spend your night if that's the mood you're in.

Love the Third Base bar. Good atmosphere, prices, and selection of beer on tap. Thursdays you can get a pitcher of bud for $4. I especially like that they don't play obnoxiously loud music - the music they do play always seems to be a match with the mood I'm in, strangely. The bartenders are always smiling, friendly, and quick! Oh and Border Grill is across the street if you get hungry.

Boy if you could sum it up in a short accurate review, Zoe did it. Its on 3rd strip, not out of the way, and has been around for as long as I can remember. Many of my friends are regulars, so that's where I like to go when home to visit. It does get a little tight when everyone decides to show up at once, but get there early and hop in a booth or pony up to the bar. Nice place to play darts too.
