Good service and a nice selection of baked goods. I usually stop in for just a few doughnuts but I have bought a few cakes as well. The cakes are nice, and so is everything else--but I have to say that their doughnuts are the best option and are delicious.
Great selection of bread, donuts and other baked sweets. This is a very good bakery and you will not be disappointed. This is another place that adds to making Marquette a nice city. I had a chocolate cupcake that was delicious and rich. I will definitely make a point of coming here again when I am in the area. If you are in the area skip desert where you are at and swing by here and get a cupcake or other sweet treat.
Top notch bakery. Everything, I mean everything, I have had here has been fantastic. Every time I am in Marquette I stop by, I love bringing home something delicious from this place. Their muffins, cupcakes, sandwiches, breads, and everything else. The selection is great and the service is always pleasant. When i roll in to Marquette I always think to myself, what would happen if I just decided to move into the bakery and never go home. I mean, I would weigh 600 lbs, but really at that point who cares. It's delicious.

Gemma at Gophers did our wedding cake and did an AMAZING job. The outside of the cake was decorated beautifully (as all of hers are), and the cake itself was to die for. We were looking for a crowd pleaser and that's exactly what we got: layers of chocolate and vanilla cake separated by layers of fresh raspberries and chocolate buttercream, all covered with vanilla buttercream. Everyone LOVED it! Our guests talked about it for days following the wedding. Absolutely delightful!
Cute place, friendly service and great cake! What more can you want?! My dad insists his birthday come from here when we visit the UP. Try it today -- you won't regret it!

Not only is the food amazing, but the customer service is the best I've ever seen! I put in an order for take-out and specified no dairy, but didn't check until I got home. Well, there was sour cream and cheese on my Carne Asada. So my husband called to complain, and they made me a new one and delivered it to my house along with a big bag of chips and a thing of salsa! I am so impressed!
This is a counter service place, similar to Chipotle or Baja Fresh. I thought the fish taco was great, steak taco good. My son had the kids burrito, which we paid extra to add steak to. He described it as lots of beans, a little steak, very little cheese. He's generally easy to please. They do have a limited beer menu.
Fresh ingredients and from scratch recipes! Yum! Whitefish tacos...order two. Three is too many...one just won't be enough! :)

I can't believe I've lived in Marquette for 3 years and never been here! I was on a walk one morning and decided to stop on in here to warm my fingers and toes. It was a warm, comforting feel right away. I was greeted immediately but needed some time to look at the menu; a classic handwritten chalk style menu gives it a more personal feeling. I decided on an apple crumble muffin. The top was perfectly crispy with a rich buttery flavor in each bite. Once the towering muffin top was history, the moist inside was a great way to finish off my experience. The free wifi was nice to have. But mostly I just enjoyed sitting there for a while enjoying the company of everyone around me. The employees were very kind and helpful. I would definitely return to Babycakes for breakfast anytime.
Perfect spot to pick up a quick coffee and a muffin or stay for awhile and enjoy it there in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Love to meet with friends here, and enjoy their delicious coffee and a GF muffin for breakfast!
who knew marquette was so crunchy!? well, not me, that's for sure. wheat free, gluten free muffins everyday of the week and vegan muffins monday, wednesday and friday! its not that such things really interest me, but i appreciate being given the option, especially without having to compromise flavor. the hot chocolate was deliciously creamy and the muffins were awesome. we tried the apple crunch and the blueberry. some local artist had his work on display around the cafe, some of which was really cool. it was the weekend of the up200, the place was pretty busy, and they seemed fully staffed and prepared; they even had a small table with hot cocoa and coffee set up outside the store. all around, a lovely place to grab some caffeine and a snack.

Always was a favorite when I was at Northern. My son and I stop here every time we come back. The pizza rolls are worth coming back year after year.
Still awesome from when I went here in the 80's during college. Cudighi pizza mmmmmmmmm. Still smaller than the cab of my truck. Friendly service and great deals abound, just ask. Thanks for not messing with success guys and gals.
Had one of their pizza rolls the other day for lunch. It was delicious! But a bad idea for lunch. It was such a gut bomb! I didn't know what I was getting myself into when the ladies at the office decided to order this for lunch. All they said to me was "greasy butts" and I went for it not really knowing what they meant by that. Really tasty though, I will try other things from here in the future.

My best friend had her wedding reception at Ore Dock this past weekend and it was amazing. The brewery rents out their second floor space on non-weekend nights for private events. The staff and management were extremely helpful in all aspects including decorating, setup and takedown, and of course keeping the beer flowing. The space is so unique it hardly needs decorating though. We really appreciated their hard work all weekend to make the day a success. I highly recommend having your special event at Oredock.
Tops for beer and atmosphere The entire crew is outgoing and available. The beer is unreal.....had Serrano Saison and it was a unique blend of spice and flavor that is addicting. Live music on the weekends, outdoor seating, and overall energy was enjoyable. See you soon!! Thanks, J & C
Good food. Great location. The kind of place that every downtown should have. Food is good and service is too. Would like to see a bit more on the menu.

Happened on his place as we were traveling on the local snowmobile trails, and saw a sign for food. We were pretty hungry, so we chose blindly. Plus, the trail literally takes you to the parking lot. The food was amazing! As was the service. Seriously, no complaints. I had the open-faced roast beef sandwich served over mashed potatoes (my mouth is watering just thinking of it), and my hubby tried the cheesesteak. It seemed as if everything was homemade, and fresh. Slaw was really good, creamy and sweet. Definitely recommend Crossroads! If we're ever sledding through the area again, we'll be planning this as a stop!
I've been here twice with differing experiences. Once for Friday Fish Fry. It was crowded and a bit noisy, but not in a bad way. The fish was quite good and the service easily competent. I might go again, but my second experience turned me off to the place. The second time was late on a weekday evening. I had just flown back home to Marquette and my wife and I stopped in on the drive home. The one person working, while totally aware of us, was non-responsive to our needs, and surly to dismissive when we asked questions. At one point I even said to him "Seriously?!" when he snickered at us. Perhaps we weren't the usual types who go there, but that does not justify the treatment we got. To add insult to injury, the sandwich I got was horrible. You take your chances.
It's okay... I ordered the pizza sticks and they're bland. I also ordered the pepperjack burger. There's absolutely no "heat" to it but the protein was cooked great and moist. I'd go back but I probably would venture out first.

The most awesome, authentic, reasonable, yummiest thai food ever. Kudos to the lady chef. My favorite has to be green curry and curry fried rice and yes, coconut chicken soup.
Best Chicken Pad Thai I've ever had.. Aoy is the real deal and loves to cook, you can just tell!
