My whole family was surprised at how delicious everything was, especially for fast food. I haven't eaten at a Halo Burger since I was a kid, when I lived outside of Flint, until today. My coney dog was delicious, though I suspect the dog wasn't a Koegel. The wife had a Fiesta Burger, and her friend had an Olive Burger. Both raved about the food. The kids enjoyed their dinosaur chicken nuggets. Only good reviews from everyone, which is a near impossibility!

The service here has been almost consistently bad. I cant imagine they have any training or performance measures. That mishap will continue to eat into their business. This last time I went the fries were a much lower quality. After a ridiculous wait to order and I was the only person in drive thru, I should have left like the voice in my head said. I stayed and the wait for wrong burger was annoying. The time before my olive burger didn't taste of the same quality. A word on training and general employee knowledge besides mentioned above. I came here once and asked for a doet Vernors. "We don't have Vernors". Oh I mean ginger-ale. "We don't have ginger-ale". Oh, what is your boston cooler made with? "Oh" Three strikes...

Nasty burger and even nastier fries - I think Burger King food tastes better - never again!

I was excited when Halo Burger announced it was coming to Lansing, as the Flint-based chain is one of my favorite tastes of home, but I've been sorely disappointed with my Halo experience here in the Capital City. I first visited during opening week and was shocked by much higher prices, gimmicky burger options, a lack of combos, and only one (giant and expensive) size of shake/Boston Cooler. It seems as if new corporate ownership was trying to move Halo Burger up into Five Guy's/Smashburger/Bagger Dave's territory, but the quality was not up to par. On my second trip, many of the early sins had been corrected - prices have been slightly lowered, combos are offered, and shakes are offered in smaller sizes - but issues still remain. The beef is tightly packed and lacks flavor or seasoning - huge no-nos at a burger joint, and service is painfully slow. I want to love Halo Burger here as I do at home, but this place just isn't up to par. I'll probably visit again, but three strikes and I'm out.

I was craving a burger, so we stopped by for an early dinner. It looked like there were only three employees working, two in the back and one at the cash register. This made things a bit slow as the cashier also had to make the shakes with an especially loud shake machine. The burger itself was okay, and the fries were hot, but not worth the price (about $20 for one burger combo and two kids meals with shakes). I liked that they had Heinz ketchup bottles at the tables, and the place was relatively clean, but I don't think we'll be heading back anytime soon.

I'm not convinced. Let's start there. The burger wasn't bad certainly, but neither was it good. And for the price It should have been good because there are a LOT of places within a five minute drive that can make a good burger. The meat that I had was really overcooked. Now I don't know if that is just how they do at halo, but it made for a serious lack in taste

310 North Clippert Street, Suite 1, Lansing, MI 48912. haloburger.com/locations… It is located in the Frandor shopping center, right on the line between Lansing and East Lansing. It is in the same building as Panera Bread. I ordered an olive burger basket, which includes fries and a drink. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very clean on my first and seconde visits, but on the third, staff apeared to be over-worked and the dining room seemed neglected. The burger was very good. I could tell that the hamburger had not been frozen. The fries were slightly SLIGHTLY under-done. They could have used about 1 more minute in the fryer. BUT! They were very tasty. The toppings on the burger (tomato, lettuce, olives) were very fresh. This burger's flavor could use some perking up - perhaps use pimento'd olives or a garlic-mayo instead of plain. Definitely going back again and again!
