Julia was awesome!! Food was fabulous too. Exactly what we have come to expect at this chain. Delicious food. Fun employees who are helpful.

A good place for a quick order of food. Basically the subway of Mexican food. Build a bowl or other entree choice with your favorite rice, beans, meat and salsas. I have always like qdoba but I'm a bit disappointed that they haven't gotten a vegetarian meat option like their competition has. But I still enjoy the chain and I'm particularly fond of the Mexican gumbo! Don't forget the guac and queso!

This Qdoba site has very well trained employees. Always have a smile and can also put a smile on your face. The environment is great as well as the deals, like their midweek buddy pass that was recently a success if you ask my friends and I!

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants period. The burritos, nachos, and quesadillas are always good. Occasionally, I go there for just chips and queso and always fully satisfied.

I used to love Qdoba until I got food poisoning there twice in 2 years. The second time it happened I was like "NO MORE, I can't take throwing up and having liquid poo for 2 days". I always got the "Ground Beef" Burrito. It's the beef that was not sanitary and probably not the right tempature that made it this way. My mom always went there with me and she always got chicken. The first time I got food poisoning, she did as well...the next day. The price is way too expensive. And some of the qdobas around her do not have very good staff. If I were forced to go there...I would not order any meat...I would go vegetarian. The reason I gave it a 1 star is because food poisoning is unexeceptable.

We were there today and it was very crowded. We had burrito's with ground beef and they were great! Maybe a bit pricey, but they make it while they take your order.

They do what they do very well. The food is spicier than most anything else around here in the fast-mexican sector. The prices have been bumped up in the last year, so the value equation isn't as good as it once was. $6.75 for a quesadilla is pushing it, but the meat is seasoned well and the guacamole is usually tasty. Watch out for the salsa selection.... you may not end up with what you want. One is green, and I think it's medium. It's OK, but if you wanted a red-medium, try again. The salsa selections menu is posted farther down the ordering line than where you are when the request is made. And the main menu is hard to read at a distance. The far right end posted above the serving area is unreadable where you order (at West Main, at Portage, the left side is unreadable!) Would someone at Qdoba corporate assign a user-experience rep to visit restaurants every 6 months please?

Oh Qdoba. Yes, you are not healthy. Yes, you are a chain. Yes, you bastardize an ethnic food and make it as homogenized as possible. Yes, you lack a wide variety of choices. Yes, you let meat sit in a lukewarm container for an undefined amount of time. Yes, you are oddly stingy despite having more customers than Wal-Mart. But your burritos are akin to crack rock wrapped in soft flour tortillas. Okay, I'll sum it up as this. I've gotten food poisoning from Qdoba twice and yet I still eat there frequently. I just stay away from the chicken and steak. It's that good. I suggest going to the West Main location more than Portage as it is staffed by college kids who hook it up as opposed to bratty Portage teenagers who are miserable to deal with. Also, the lines can be unbearable at times because the seemingly efficient method of ordering food can just be too much for some people. Keep this in mind if you're in a hurry. Just remember, college kids can get a free sugar water if they show their I.D. but they are really strict on this for some really odd reason.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
