Love this place! Found it via yelp, and had lunch there when my cousin came into town to visit. I had the monte cristo which is made with French toast, ham, turkey and Swiss with syrup on the side. Oh and powdered sugar. So tasty!!! I also had a cup of lemon chicken and rice soup. My cousin ordered a wrap with chicken, spinach, and fresh strawberries and cream cheese. She said it was delicious I I wanted it bad so I need to go back. After eating we ducked into the store side and I loved it! It is an eclectic mix of furniture, pictures, knick knacks, candles, jewelry and handbags. I bought a couple things and know I will be back for more! All in all this place is an oasis in the middle of a desert. Great restaurants and shops are practically non existent in Jackson so I am thrilled to have discovered this gem!

Love this quaint little spot in the heart of Jackson. I visit every time I come home. I love the Schmude Family and will always support their businesses. I love what they have done for this town. The spot is super cute and feels like the Midwest to me. I'm sure to run into a familiar face while enjoying an amazing brunch. There are always many options that are fresh and so tasty. I have to save room for dessert of course. To work off my food coma I like to shop next door and spend way more than I intended because I need one of everything. After being here numerous times, I have never once had bad service or food. They are very clean and have really nice restrooms. Please support your local small businesses. It's what gives our city culture and flair.

A tiny cute cafe in the middle of a kitchy store. Just a few rows of tables, and staff seems to know everyone there. It had a "tea room" feel and felt like "Ladies who Lunch". But as the wall decor was light rock themed, I began to see things weren't exactly as they seemed. Although you can find the tea and salads, the menu was well rounded, and the portions were substantial. I didn't ask, but it seemed most of the food was locally sourced as well. I had the named Porch Salad: mixed greens, dried cherries, sugared pecans, oranges and a poppy seed dressing that was truly delicious and full of flavor! It came with a dinner roll, that I didn't try (but it looked delicious!) They also have homemade desserts, and offered to send them with me. I settled for ONE homemade cherry cordial at the checkout... almost got out safely! Homemade chocolate at the checkout= Not Fair at All! Open for breakfast and Lunch... if there were open for dinner, I'd probably go back tonight!

Anna's is a great local mom and pop eatery. Except it's more... mother/son. The atmosphere is interesting, not necessarily in a bad way. Lots of teapots on the walls (pretty feminine, but just be secure guys). I will say the breakfast is easily 5 stars. The lunch was just OK, but perhaps that's just because I didn't care for the sandwich I got. I'm willing to give their lunch menu another go. What I can say is that everything is very fresh and a very high quality level. Give them a try (and absolutely get the cranberry walnut bread with your breakfast!)

First time there for breakfast. Just made it my favorite morning place. Clean and bright (helps with windows facing east), neat decor. Restrooms are neat. Extremely friendly. Food very good. Had the Mediterranean plate, nice break from the usual fare. Been advised by a friend to eat lunch there.

Great food, including yummy veggie options. Delicious tomato soup. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Thanks to other yelpers for their reviews to guide us here! Cool gift shop is worth exploring ...

Really hard to find on the backside of Anna's gift shop, but the food and service was great.

I was in the area for work, and felt inspired to find a good, local place to eat lunch. I'm usually on a tight schedule, so I make a quick stop for something easy and fast. I found Anna's Porch Cafe on Yelp. I didn't realize that it is in the front of a store filled with trinkets for the home. The cafe itself is really cute! It's pretty small, just a couple of rows of small tables enough for 4. I can tell this is a place that the staff & customers know each other by name. I got there long after the lunch crowd, so I had the place almost to myself. The waitress was very nice & accommodating. I ordered the Greek Chicken Pita. It was delicious! It was served open-faced and jam packed with chicken, feta, tomato, banana peppers & lettuce. I had to eat it like a salad at first. It didn't come with chips or anything, which is fine by me. I don't need it! That pita was more than enough. I didn't get a chance to go into the store. Hopefully the next time I'm in Jackson, I'll have more time to check it out. They also have homemade desserts, which looked a bit sinful. They're more than happy to wrap up a brownie or lemon bar to go. I'll save room for it next time!

We missed breakfast by 15 minutes....so I was bummed. We each had soup and salads. I really like how they brought out a sample of the tomato soup for us to try. So unique. The food was yummy......my only complaint was that I would have loved to have seen a organic, vegan option on the menu.

Anna's was quaint, and was a great place to catch up with an old friend shortly after I returned to Jackson. You can tell that this is a hidden gem in the community, and locals are quick to avoid the standard string of chain restaurants in favor of some home-town ingenuity and deliciousness. My particular visit wasn't phenomenal in terms of service, and the dining area environment was somewhat displeasing to me, but my food was fresh, and the tastiness of the dishes seemed to have a touch of a quality trained Chef. Next time you consider stopping for an over-priced meal at yet another chain restaurant - stop by Anna's instead.

Had training in Jackson today, so I went here for lunch today based on the yelp reviews and was so glad I did. Service was fantastic. Waitress was fast, friendly and considerate. I had the chicken curry vegetable soup and the hot crab sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. Will definately be back if I'm in that area again!

At the start of the year they changed up their menu a bit, added some new things and took some others off. My Chicken Caesar Pita is no long on the menu (though I did convince them once to make it for me anyways because they are awesome like that). But do not fear I have a new obsession, the Salmon Dill Pita. Oh it is amazing. The salmon is always so good and fresh and the pita is just as awesome as always. I am hungry just thinking about it. They also added a Avocado Bacon burger that my husband had and was very good and very messy. Yum! Also they recently started caring ginger ale, which from what I know has been a huge hit and hopefully stays!

What a beautiful shop! An interior decorator's dream, and a great stop for anyone who likes to nest (or shop for someone who does). Additionally, you'll find lots of lovely jewelry, specialty foods for entertaining, purses and other accessories. This is one of those rare jewels every local loves and every guest must visit. So, let your spouse take the kids across the street to The Toy House while you grab a bit to eat and enjoy some unique and decadent shopping at Anna's! Be sure to check out the cafe for lunch until 3pm. Restrooms are in the cafe and worth visiting in their own right!

to sue (our waitress): your mind is a steel trap. i hadn't seen you in at LEAST 8 years and you managed to remember not only my name, but what i used to order as well! an impressive feat that deserves a round of applause. aside from sue, who was lovely, our food was quite good. i was bummed because we came in just after 11 and just barely missed the breakfast menu. my salad hit the spot though, mixed greens, dried cherries, sugared pecans, oranges and a poppy seed dressing that was superb. my mans had a greek-like wrap w/ feta, roasted red peppers and another great dressing. if my memory serves me right, the baked goods and quiche are excellent as well. all in all, a great place to grab a bite! plus, there is a cute gift shop attached to the cafe that has all sorts of cute stuff.
