Pizza was really tasty. We got the supreme and it was loaded with toppings. The service, on the other hand was just plain stupid. Just laugh at the service and wait for the supreme, you won't be disappointed.

Had a pizza late at night. It could have been because I was really hungry but it was delicious. I wouldn't say this is a family atmosphere as it was very much a bar crowd but I would return for sure. The drinks we ordered were very strong. Some would call that a plus some wouldn't.

What a bunch of lazy dicks working at Skiles. Service, if you can call it that, was terrible. I hope that lightning strikes the roof, burns the joint to the ground, and kills all the staff inside.

The pizza had a nice thin crispy crust, lacked a little bit on the toppings, but over all it was great. Good service and a good atmosphere.

Their pizza is amazing and their bartender Rawley is great! He's always very attentive and on top of his game. Sometimes the same can't be said about the other bar tending staff. The waitresses on the restaurant side are quick and attentive as well!

We must have come at the right time as we drove by an hour earlier and it looked like the place was packed. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night, and it was pretty steady with customers all night long with very large groups, too. We ourselves were a party of 6 that grew to 12, and had to split off to another table. This has to be one of the best thin crust pizza spots in Holland, which is what the bar has been known for. Yes, it is hard to believe growing up and almost my whole life in this town that I never frequented this establishment until this visit. We got the special and a ham, pineapple, onion, and mushroom and they were all very tasty - light on the sauce but yet good flavor. Prices were reasonable. The waitresses were extremely busy, but tried to be nice when they could but I could tell people were testing their patience at times. I might order carryout to see what that's like next time or come when it's less busy.

I am never drinking here again, I asked for a double vodka sprite, I was given an 8 ounce glass and was charged $11. Utterly ridiculous. The pizza was super good though, greasy thin crust and delicious.

Yum YUM yummy Pizza We would order take out- bring it back to our boat and eat it all up. Eating it until we couldn't eat anymore, Then getting out on the water and drinking a cold brew. Oh my the best

They serve a cracker thin crust only and offer three sizes, 10"-13"&15". The sauce is very mild and the cheese not too salty. Toppings could be more generous but I guess you could ask for extra toppings. Give it a try the next time your in Holland!

This restaurant/tavern has excellent thin crust pizza. The atmosphere was pub like and noisy. The service seemed to assume you were a regular so could be a little less than welcoming for a first timer. Overall the pizza is good enough I would definitely return. We went at 7 o'clock on a saturday night so it was pretty busy and may explain the service.

After hearing great things about Skiles we were excited to give it a try. Needles to say the reviews are overrated. The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. The pizza had very little taste and had hardly any sauce. Not worth the trip.

I've loved Skiles for 20 years, but it's gone downhill fast. They use less toppings, pre made crust and watery sauce. They need to start over. It now tastes like cardboard with ketchup.

If you like thin crust pizza, then you would like Skiles Tavern. I thought it was so-so pizza, but I do prefer thick crust.

The only bar in downtown Holland really worth going to. It used to be more divey, but still has a homegrown bar vibe you won't find at the fake Irish college pub or family-friendly brewpub down the street (even if the beer is great). Oft-crotchety but reliable service, cheap pitchers, and the 2nd-best pizza in town.

When home in Michigan, I'll make an effort to stop into Skiles. The staff and regulars are usually familiar faces from my years growing up in the Holland area. I've always loved their thin crust pizza and have to say that it may be the best pizza any dive bar has to offer! There is a pool table up front and a jukebox loaded with essential rock classics, which are always pluses in my book. Long live Skiles Tavern!

Classic bar. Now smoke free but still have the pool table. Great pizza. Definitely the place for a beer and a pizza in downtown Holland.
