Love the atmosphere, food is great and you get plenty! I got the 10 oz sirloin and they got it just right. The rolls are wonderfully seasoned, the mashed potatoes were great. The service was quick and our waitress was friendly. I wonder how they keep people from stealing the $1 on the walls!

I was visiting the area, and the first 3 restaurants we tried had a 45 minute+ wait. We found Crazy Horse on Yelp and decided to give it a go. We ordered way too much food, but it was all FANTASTIC. Our waitress was a real doll- friendly but not too chatty, and happy to give great menu recommendations. I had the steak special, with mushrooms and melted brie on top, and that was seriously so amazing. I don't usually go for "homestyle" dining, but this really hit the spot and everything was spectacular.

Great place! Reminds me of a place back home called Judge Roy Beans. I love how they collect money on the walls and light fixtures and pretty much anywhere you can get it to stay. This money goes twice a year to local charity. Any business that gives back to our local community has my vote. They apparently have my money too lol. The food is great, the bar is open, the staff is always willing. Price is about the same as any steakhouse. Worth every penny.

I enjoyed my food here this evening. I had a cowboy ribeye which I thought was kind of thin but the chef ( that's what l'll call them tonight ) made it look so delightful to the eye and packed it with so much flavor that by the time I was done with my meal which included grilled shrimp and sweet potato. I instructed my waitress to find out who personally grilled my steak and then tip the person with this $10 bill to show them my heart feel gratitude and let them know that I appreciate what they did with what they had, because it didn't go unnoticed!! I tipped my waitress handsomely also for her prompt service. She happened to be my bartender also.

I love that they have a soup bar available with a few different soups. I wanted ribs when we dropped in through. They fell right off the bone and had pretty good flavor. My husband got a side of sweet potato fries that were good but the dipping sauce was really sweet. We tend to prefer the more savory dips with sweet potatoes. Super nice waiter. Clean bathrooms. Overall it was a good stop.

I don't recommend the ribs. They were very tough. Also the Hawaiian chicken was not very Hawaiian. The server said they marinate it all day. Definitely a pass.... I still enjoy the Prime rib, steaks and cocoanut shrimp. However 2 bad meals deserve a downgrade to 4 stars. Service has always been excellent.

I'm on a very strict eating plan and waitress Stephanie was so helpful, I had Monterey chicken no cheese and extra veggies oh was it so good. The juices from the grill was awesome!! If you have dietary restrictions they are great and helpful!!

It has been awhile since I've enjoyed a very satisfying lunch. I started with deep fried portobello mushrooms very tasty. Followed by a Zeek's burger and steak fries.

What a great surprise to stop at this restaurant after a long day at the beach. Everyone was hungry specially the kids. This place has amazing pine rub and the ribs were amazing! So tender and the be sauce so tasty!! We would definitely come back again!! I'm sooo glad I followed the reviews!

Food was excellent! Great concept of giving back to the community. Service fast portions were large, prime rib was juicy and very tender it melted in your mouth. Steaks were very tender. The mushrooms caps on your steak we're plentiful and perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great meal.

The service is excellent. It's quite loud, which is annoying. The salads are mediocre, steaks are great. The cheesy hashbrown side is disgusting, dripping in grease. Have a steak or salmon with fries or baked potato and you won't be disappointed.

Family favorite! Best prime rib in town. Service is outstanding with a good drink menu. The restaurant lets pin money to the walls, booths and ceiling which is given to charity. Call ahead for seating on the weekends or be ready for a 45+ min wait.

This is the fourth time in a year that I have stopped in for dinner. The first two times were fantastic. Maybe because it was two days in a row (August 2014). Then I was out in April 2015 and the food took a bug turn towards mediocre. After having a good conversation with the manager at that time I did find out that they had recently changed some of their items to a different supplier. So this could explain the lesser food quality. My most recent visit was last night. I went in hoping to get a good over meal and steak. I was not surprised to be disappointed. We were sat almost immediately (we walked in just about 9:00PM on a Monday). Our Waitress/Server greeted us very promptly but she seem rushed. When She asked for our drink order I asked for a "John Daly", she immediately said she does not have it. I responded that maybe the bar tender might know. She said never mind I will Google it and walked away. I tried to catch her attention to give the recipe, but she ignored me. She was gone for several minutes doing who knows what, but when she reappeared she had a tray of beverages and starter food. She proceeded to take care of the booths on either side of us and the table next to us. It took five minutes for her to get back to us after she abruptly walked away. Here is the rest of the story in a nut shell - I had the Boursin steak and my guest had a Filet. Her filet was under cooked when it was brought to the table and had to put back in the grill for a few more minutes. I would have expected the manger or supervisor to bring the re-grilled food back out to make sure it was done correctly. The over all experience was rushed and the waitress/server was not as effective at they could have been with giving us a better experience.

Excellent steakhouse. Reasonably priced. I've enjoyed everything I've had here. Chicken Sandwich is wonderful. Portions are large!

Good food, nice atmosphere and the wait staff was very good. Prices are too high in comparison to area.

  • Andrew B.

A little sad after reading the reviews. I will say the prime rib was good and well priced. The salad that came with it was cheap and weak. Tons of red cabbage and red onion. The service was slow, but the waitress looked to be working hard. She had either roo many tables or was always running to far away to be effective.

Thank you yelp community for finding me a decent steak on a rainy night in Holland, Michigan. It reinforces my "if I am not within 10 miles of home and its not on yelp I wont eat it rule". Great old school ambiance, casual steak house/cabin-esque. Nice local kids running the place like a machine and the steaks cooked to specification very well. The quality was high and the service excellent. If you arent going there for a steak I can't help you out as we both had steaks. For the price we paid - we did quite well and ate quite well. Enjoy.

We've been to Crazy Horse several dozen times over the past decade, and have always had an enjoyable meal. I consider it to be reasonably priced for a steakhouse, with many menu options I tend to ignore. Steak is why we go, and that is what I get. We have always had excellent service -- very accurate, prompt and attentive -- never wanting for much of anything, a refill or another drink order. Last week I had the steak and ribs combo while my wife had the prime rib. Steak and prime rib were good cuts, cooked nicely especially considering the massive Friday night crowd and sheer volume of food they were putting out. The ribs were dry and a little tough, with mediocre sauce. I should have stuck with my mission statement: steak is why we are here. Criticisms of the temp are well founded, with many being slightly over -- if you want medium rare order rare, etc. -- despite that the flavor is great. Sides are decent if not memorable, soups are very filling so I usually avoid them, however I always get a Caesar but theirs is a little odd with red onions and cherry tomatoes, often overdressed. Criticisms and what to anticipate: it is an extremely popular place, so there is almost always a long wait for tables. The cowboy theme and decor is cheesy, but take a minute while waiting for a table to hang outside where they pipe weird horse noises on a loop through speakers. Very surreal and a little funny. Their steak menu includes as standard dishes "theme" steaks -- for instance ribeye done cajun style, or other steaks that only come with stuff on them. I don't want stuff on my steak, so the options for someone like me are more limited than I would like. No bone-in ribeye, for instance. I find the non-steak menu items to be middle of the road. We will continue to return periodically because the service is fantastic, and as a level below high end chophouse their steaks are definitely better than chains, and a good value. Really the best independent, local steakhouse we have found in the Holland/Muskegon area that is on this level -- not super elite but nice.

Yelp ftw again! Fun atmosphere (big, wooden booths, horse saddles and decorations all over the restaurant, a sensor that whinnies at you like Mr. Ed when you walk by the entrance)! We enjoyed a Saturday night dinner here while visiting Holland. My steak salad hit the spot. On this occasion, we wondered why there were dollar bills folded into shapes tacked to the walls. Turns out it was a fundraising initiative for one of the employees battling an illness. Great to see the restaurant rallying to support one of its own.

We visited Holland for the weekend. This place came highly recommended and we were more than pleased. We ordered four steaks and they were all cooked to perfection. Complimentary bread was freshly baked and soft. The chicken corn chowder was excellent. Kids ended their meal with a mini peanut butter pie. Casual dining, great food, reasonable prices.

  • Amanda I.

We had outstanding service and especially loved that they had goldfish crackers for our 2 year old upon walking in. Our server really catered to him even bringing him a plastic plate, applesauce and oreos for dessert even though we hadn't ordered him a kids meal. He usually just shares with us, but we appreciated how much they catered to our young family.

Im here on a Michigan trip and found this place on Yelp. The soup corn chicken is amaze! The Portabello fries are good and so is their homemade rolls. Yummy!

  • Kevin W.

I would give it a 3.5. Prime rib was good, but not the best. Mashed red potatoes tasted more like sour cream than potatoes. Too much sour cream for my taste. Rolls were served warm and overall pretty good. Side salad was pretty typical. Staff was pleasant. Wish they had larger Michigan beer selection.

We went for lunch here today. I had the Cattleman's sirloin steak, my son the BLT burger. My steak was cooked excellent! Broccoli was perfect not to soft or hard. My sons burger looked delicious. Waitress mentioned prime rib tonight with lobster and shrimp for about $22. She said come early it gets busy. To bad we are so full!

Yelp to the rescue! I have to say, when I'm out of town what better way to find a good place to eat than checking it out on Yelp!! I needed to find a place for lunch since we were only staying the night for a wedding and checked out Crazy Horse for lunch. It's a very casual atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had a great waitress and I can't remember her name, but very helpful in menu choices as there were so many to choose from. My husband tried the Big Pig, a pulled pork BBQ sandwich had just a little too much sauce, but he loved that. I had the Crazy Horse dip sandwich that was just perfectly spiced with flavorful mushrooms and grilled onions. The waitress also offered other sides since I didn't want french fries and they accommodated me with a house salad. Thanks again Yelpers for helping me choose a great place for eats!!

  • Amanda D.

Used to be the best restaurant in town. Now.......not so much. Its just an average steakhouse. The food is slightly over priced, of mediocre quality. Staff is almost always excellent. Usually a very long wait on weekend nights. Not worth 45+ minutes, go elsewhere on a Friday or Saturday.

  • Luis P.

The food is not as good as everyone states it is. It's in the same department as any chain steakhouse in the Midwest. Since the reviews were so optimistic, I figured I give this place I try. I should have known that this place has long horn steakhouse-outback-road house writing all over it. The only thing good about this place is the service. The waitress was very attentive and would crack jokes that were not funny, but at least she tried. Get service, as good as it was, does not make up for the bad food. I ordered the naked wings: mediocre. Then I ordered chicken soup with corn: not good, I didn't even taste the chicken. Lastly I ordered the ribs with shrimp: very disappointing. The ribs were a bit cold and hard to chew. The shrimp was even worse, but that's what I get for not trusting my gut. If your not a fan of steak chain restaurants, then this is not the place for you. However, if chain steak house restaurants are your cup of tea, then drink on.

Very accommodating to my food allergies. Love the staff and the food. They never give me a hard time about what I need and ask for. I love that they value their customers.

Great food! They have large portions for dinner so I always split with my daughter. They also have the best oliver burger ever bit it's only on the lunch menu, bummer.

Luis P has this place nailed perfectly in his January review. Crazy Horse is a very popular restaurant. I went for my birthday and they took a reservation. Promptly seated. The corn chowder soup is excellent. I went with the porterhouse; honestly, I can do much better at home. Pretty good hash browns and onion straws. Bread was hot but just okay in my mind.

  • Denise T.

Staff was great, but the food was just so-so. Steak was just a bit above what you used to get at Ponderosa. I would continue the search for a good steakhouse. This is not it!!

  • Shaun B.

A day at the beach followed by dinner here. Food was above average but so was price. I had the prime rib and they cooked it perfect and went well with my garlic tators. Wife got the chicken fingers like she does everywhere else we go and said they were in her top 5 which is saying something. Average beer selection and staff was attentive. I love what they do with money that decorates the booths. All in all a solid choice.

My new favorite place in Holland. I'll just say if you want a steak Medium, order it Medium Rare.

Holland Michigan :: This place had everything going for it up until the food was served. We started with an appetizer that was suppose to be a kind of an onion ring thing but not" the waitress even recommended this dish, IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!. Greased breading"" that's what it was. Now the Main Dish, I was dying for a steak and so was my son. I ordered the 20 oz. porterhouse and my son ordered the 10oz. Strip steak, I knew it was going to be bad the moment the waitress brought it to our table. It had to be the quality because they both came medium cooked and it was Complete SHOE LEATHER. So for me it started at the appetizer and ended with the entree. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I can't imagine HOW most of these peps can boast about this place and it was PACKED !!!!! Locals of course, this is another reason I was VERY disappointed . I would not return.

YUMMMMMYY!! i was so good that i couldnt even contain myself! the baked potato that came with it was ok, but have had better. i didnt even care cuz my steak with that sauce was sooooooo awesome! if im ever in this area im definitely goin back!

I often drive pass by this place, because well I've heard they were pricey. But we had gifts cards, went for the 1st time yesterday. I had already made a reservation so no wait time; a plus! Place was packed! Our server was named Vicky she was great! It was also my husbands birthday and depending on how old you turn you get that percentage off! I ordered the ribs and steak combo with the broccoli cheese soup! My ribs weren't chewy and my steak came out medium well, they way I wanted it. The decor is western themed...nothing too fancy, just a locally owned steakhouse!

    (4)
  • Mrs Y.

A good solid steakhouse that's not a chain, with excellent service. Sometimes the portion of grilled chicken on the sandwiches or entrees is inconsistent. Ribs can be a little tough and not hot enough. Overall for the prices the food is very good and they have a nice selection of side items, great steamed broccoli and baked potatoes. Also, for as many people as they serve the place always seems clean.

    (4)
  • Ryan B.

Typical chain steak house formula. Nothing appears to be house made. My steak was very low quality and not cooked to the correct temperature. Hash browns appeared to be made from frozen grated potatoes and were loaded with grease. Restroom was relatively clean but the trash can was overflowing onto the floor all around it.

    (2)
  • Jason G.

Not only was the food awesome (Prime Rib), but the service and how friendly they were was an added bonus. Also really like how they do what they can for raising money for local charities by pinning dollar bills to the wall. I will def be back before I leave town.

  • Larry H.

Great meal for the price. Nice selection of local craft brewers on tap, the seasonal selection was very good. My wife was very pleased with her filet, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The garlic mashed potatoes were excellent. I had a sirloin that was very tasty and tender. The salads were very fresh and the herb rolls were delicious. Not a "downtown" overly priced steakhouse, but definitely a step or two above the chains. We will be back.

  • Chris N.

Great tasting food and very polite staff. The setup is a tasteful and well done southwestern theme. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal - my campfire chicken, my wife's salad, our corn chowder and my 3.5 year old's corn dogs. Thumbs up all around!

  • Autumn E.

Great steak! Flavored well...didn't need any steak sauce. The mashed sweet potatoes were fabulous! I was seated promptly and the wait staff was attentive. I also liked that they have a program that gives back to the community. I would much rather support a local place than a chain. Glad the hotel recommended a visit.

Average rating as nothing has overly impressed me although nothing has really disappointed me greatly either. Plenty of choices in the area.

  • Janelle P.

The fuss of this place confuses me! Yes the soup and rolls are yummy, the waitstaff is great and on their game, but their steaks? Always dry, never cooked correctly and they have no flavor. For being known as a steak house, you think they could step up their game. You can get a better steak at branns!

  • Rachel Y.

We went there for lunch today, two adults and two toddlers. Service was wonderful as the server was very attentive and even though I didn't ask for it, she put a fair amount of napkins down as she probably knew kids could get messy and I really appreciated that. For entree my husband ordered Cowboy Ribeye and he said the steak was pretty good. I ordered the Tropical Tilapia and I really liked it. What I liked about it was that it came with a generous amount of vegetables as side, it was probably the most I have seen among the restaurants around the same price range. As a veggie lover I really enjoyed that. The tilapia was good and I loved the mango topping. Never had anything like that before and it was tasty. We are tourists so we probably won't go there often but if we go to Holland for travel again, we will definitely go back!

Just a short drive from the lakefront in picturesque Holland. Watch the sunset at Holland State Park then head into Crazy Horse for an unbeatable dinner. Very laid back dining experience; great for families or couples. My husband and I both had Steak and lobster and our bill was under $60! BUT GREAT food and unbeatable prices. They also had a great Michigan beer selection. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Perhaps the best service and the best quality food i`ve ever had in the Michigan area. We had a little issue with a little pink flip flop that landed on our table from a cute little girl who has parents that need lessons on how to NOT enable your children, Anyway our waitress "Rachel" took control and made us feel that we were her only concern , Super Rachel is a rock star , the Prime Rib was super tasty and served lightning fast. I can guarantee you 2 things, Rachel ( and I will assume the rest of the wait staff) are super to your needs in a very friendly manner and the food is very, very good. For sure a must do and I promise I will drive hours for such a great dinning experience, quality of food , service....... "Pink Flip Flop" and all Go and support great food, great people.. As a business traveler I eat out very often and this is one of my top ten places to go, Kudos

We loved the meals we ordered tonight! Everything was excellent! The steak and ribs were melt-in-your-mouth good. Both of the types of mashed potatoes were rich and very tasty. The rolls were yummy and the service was top notch. We will definitely be back!

The family and I decided to venture a bit away from home and try some new places. It didn't work out so well it's in an old shopping center and parking is a little tight it has a chain style feel but the seats in the booths are straight wood no cushioning for your back. Service was slow but they were nice . Took about an hour and half from sit down to exit. The hips and guacamole were good but they provide lots of guacamole but little chips . Drinks were ok I think my coke had to much syrup in it . They over cooked my New York strip steak medium isn't well done meat has some flavor but was a little tough. Prices are. Little off New York strip is 14 oz 18 dollars 13 oz porterhouse a Cajun one only type they have. Is 17 dollars and a 20 ounce porterhouse is 21. I also added a loaded back potaoe was horribly over done and had sat for to long by the time it got to me. The loaded portion was a wearied sour cream sauce with everything mixed in and made the whole thing cold. Wasn't impressed at all the best thing we had the bread pudding which we took home is made by a bakery somewhere else.

Hit this place up while visiting the area. Awesome Steaks and staff. The folks that I visited with and I ended up sitting at the bar to eat because we broke the one cardinal rule for this place. We arrived after 5:20. Get there early or be ready to park a country mile away at the back of the shopping center that it is in and waiting an hour or more for a table. We were luck and grabbed the last few seats available at the bar and just decided to eat there rather than waiting for a table. My steak was excellent but not quite to the gold standard of the SaltGrass Restaurants of Texas. The rest of my group also had excellent meals and a few excellently crafted mixed drinks. Not a thing to complain about or make note of on our visit other than our mistake of not rushing over there sooner in the evening.

We enjoyed lunch here recently. Excellent service and a wonderful selection of entrees in lunch portions. The corn chowder is a big favorite here and it is great. Definitely a place to return. A return visit resulted in high approval of the burgers. There are several varieties, each unique and good. Can't recommend the lake perch though -- overcooked and greasy.

Food tasted like down home cooking. House dressing and mashed potatoes were great. Excellent service. Rachel our server gave us a "locals" tip which ended up making our trip magnificent! Loved the fundraising idea too. Shows a lot about the restaurant.

  • Keith H.

I love the ribs here! The meat was so tender that it just fell off the bones. The dinner rolls are very good, their mashed potatoes were really good, too. The waitress was very nice and the service was great, the price of the meal wasn't bad either. The atmosphere was pretty cool, the lights above the tables were actually buckets hung upside down, they even had money tacked on the walls. The next time I'm ever in Holland, MI I'll have to make a stop here again!

Got here at 7 on a Wednesday evening. Place was packed but was seated promptly. They have daily drink specials and today was the margarita. Before the main course, ordered the corn chowder, mmmmmmm good! Got some bread, n that was also good! Ordered tender ribs n chicken. Garlic mashed potatoes accompanied the meal. Sauce on ribs was ok but meat fell off the bones!!! Nice vibe in this casual place. Would definately return if out here again!!!

We've been in the Holland area all summer and just ran across this gem of a restaurant. Service was super fast, attentive and friendly. The filet was great, as was the Norwegian Salmon. Very accommodating regarding side selections. All in all, a good vibe, good food and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

I wasn't very impressed with this place, but I wasn't really impressed with any of the food in Michigan. That said, it's an above-average place to stop after a day at the beach. If there's a wait, consider hovering for seats at the bar. The bartender will be your private waiter, which is probably better service than you'll get in the restaurant, with the same great food. I can't say any of the food is memorable, so go for some nice meat, which they'll do just fine.

This wasn't my first rodeo here, but it was quite memorable this time around. I brought my boyfriend with me for a little weekend getaway in my hometown, and was hoping that this place would consistently deliver and come through for a great steak dinner. It's such an unassuming place. We got here for a late dinner, probably 8/8:30ish (because people in Holland do have dinner a little earlier). It wasn't as busy as it probably had been earlier in the day for a Saturday. We got seated in a booth where we saw plenty of dollar bills tacked on to the walls, and I thought it was a little different to be placing tips on the wall and was surprised by the confidence that other patrons wouldn't take it off the wall. We come to find out that they are donations made to charity that they collect on a yearly basis. Talk about a humbling good way to start off your meal! We contributed as we waited for our meal to arrive. I got the chicken corn chowder soup, and the prime rib special dinner that comes with a lobster tail, and a couple of breaded shrimp. On top of that I got a side of sweet potatoes. Everything was so good! My prime rib was so tender and flavorful. I couldn't believe that my dinner special was only $22! Our waitress was the one that told us about the dollars for charity and provided great service. We were so stuffed since we practically ate all that was on our plates. We were talking about this food the next day, and I'm am currently trying to figure out how to finagle my family into coming here for a meal the next time I'm in town.

First visit was awesome. Great prime rib with veggies. Brought a group with me this time and definitely wasn't the same. Steak was so-so. Really disappointing after the first experience. I'll try them again and adjust my rating accordingly.

My husband and I both had the prime rib. It was perfect. Excellent taste! It was reasonably priced along with the drinks. The service was good an fast. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cut of delicious meat.

Read about all the reviews and thought we would have to wait for a long time but didn't. Holland is one hour ahead of Chicago so when we got here on Saturday night it was 9pm Holland time already and guess all the dinner crowd had gone so no wait at all. The steaks are delicious. It is on a little bit cooked side than I'd prefer, but great taste And pretty good price. Everything was good and we are pleasant surprised by how good the food tastes. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

A local favorite. I have to admit that I am a little bias with this place since they sponsor food for the High School Rugby team I coach. We always get great service and the price is good for the area. Gets very crowded, but you can call ahead for quicker seating. Make sure to tack a dollar to the wall with a message, they donate the money to charity each year!

My husband and I stopped in for our anniversary dinner while we were in Holland. The food here was all-around delicious. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start. Nice and piping hot; it had the perfect balance of veggies with cheesey gooey goodness. I ordered the 8oz primerib w/hashbown side and hubby decided on the NY strip with red smash. Both were cooked to perfection. My steak just melted in your mouth. Added a horseradish dip and it was a nice zip to the meat. The strip was seasoned wonderfully. Both potato sides were great. Hubby's broccoli soup was blah and lacked some flavor and I chose a side salad. Plenty of food with leftovers to boot. Service was great; we were seated immediately and were waited on promptly. Prices were fab for everything you got. Far exceeded my expectations for a steak joint that was in a strip mall. Will def be back when in the area.

Warm, friendly, family atmosphere! We drove two hours just to try this place and I'd say it was well worth it. The steaks had great flavor, the dinner rolls were awesome! The whole experience was well worth the money and the drive; we'll definitely be going back; it's just a shame their a two hour drive for us...

Steak, chicken, burgers, and salads.... I am all about the mashed sweet potatoes here - they are my fav! They have a fabulous salad with strawberries, pineapple and toasted coconut with a poppy seed dressing that I adore. I am not a huge meat eater, but do really like the open faced prime rib sandwich.

Great menu and food. Casual atmosphere. Enjoyed the Spinach Artichoke Chicken with Garlic Red Skin Mashers, WOW! Family friendly.

This was my wife and I favorite restaurant for years. It is still good, but no longer fantastic for some reason. We still go there, but do not get the consistent level quality food preparation to make it our top choice. We used to get our steaks perfect as ordered, but for last couple years it is a coin toss. The steamed vegetable medley and mashed potatoes are top sides : The steaks are average and preparation is typically over cooked and not steak house quality.

This place is great. First of all the entire staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. No wonder it's crowded at 4:30 in the afternoon. By 6, there's a wait. Great value for your money. The porterhouse is excellent. I asked for charred outside, medium inside - and they got right. I've paid $50 at other places for a steak and they got that wrong. Pecan mashed sweet potatoes are excellent, though sweet enough to be desert-like. The dinner salad is large and fresh. No room for deserts. Can't say enough about the service. Usually I am disappointed in steak places. Not this one. Every time we're in Holland it'll be on the regular stop checklist for sure.

Amazing prime rib, tender and cooked to perfection; the greatest bread rolls on the planet, warm, soft and fresh, served with a huge hunk of butter; friendly and on-top-of-things service; and much happiness for your taste buds and tummy. As soon as you enter, ushered in by the sounds of neighing and horse hooves overhead, it's a laid back and fun atmosphere. Patrons of all walks of life leave dollar bills thumb-tacked to the walls of the booths and even pinned on random decor in the restaurant. Most leave messages of how amazing the steaks are, and sign them with home towns listed so you can see just how many people traveling from all over have enjoyed Crazy Horse. Make a reservation if you know you'll be in town, or go during off hours. It can get REALLY busy with long waits, and this is a place you won't want to pass up. Did I mention they have the greatest bread rolls ever? I can make a meal of them and nothing else.

I was in Holland for business and had dinner here. Super fast service. The salad came out in about 2 minutes and the entree came out in about 10! The chicken breasts that I had were super juicy. It reminded me of a Texas Roadhouse (less the peanut shells on the ground). Highly recommend.

GREAT place to have dinner. Make reservations as at 7:30 pm, there was a 45 minute wait, but since I called in earlier that week, we were seated in 10 minutes. I think everyone was jealous ;) We didn't get appetizers or dessert - because the main course was plentiful. 1 - I got the special, prime rib, lobster, 2 fried shrimp. Comes with soup/salad, I got the cream of broccoli soup and devoured the entire thing b/c it was so good. Bread on the side was nice and warm. Side includes veggie or salad - and I got the corn. Everything was yummy that I ate the entire thing, my husband gave me a grossed out look by the end of the night. Also, when I got home, it hit me b/c I was about to puke I was so full - all for $22 :) 2 - Hubby got the ribeye. He got the salad (average) and mashed potatoes on the side. He thought the ribeye was just ok but loved the mashed. If in the area - you have to give a try! House red wine was really good for $5 too! Total - $50 for nice dinner for 2.

Best kept secret in Holland. Very Accommodating. Prime Rib you could cut with a fork. Crazy Horse is our new favorite place.

I have been to the Crazy Horse 3 times now. First time, I had a New York Strip, but wow...did the steak have too much salt! It was almost not edible. I should have asked them to redo the steak without seasoning but I was just too hungry to wait any longer. Service has been great all three times. The second time I had the prime rib, which was fantastic. The restaurant doesn't seem to be good for kids, but once you get inside, you realize that its a cozy and nice place to be with family.

Had to be one of the BEST meals that I have ever had. They serve is crazy-awesome chowder and then homemade bread. I was full before the food came out. That did not keep me from polishing off the steak, smashed potatoes and onion straws.

We eat here about twice a month. Usually we get take out so I cannot comment on the wait, but the parking lot and lobby are almost always packed. The few times we have eaten in we got lucky and got in (usually around 5:30 pm). Crazy horse is a solid restaurant. Good food, good service, and very kid friendly. Hands down, the best steak in Holland! And amazing Caesar salads to start off.

I was in Holland on business, and my client recommended Crazy Horse. I'm so glad I went. The service was great, and the food, hot, plentiful and delicious! I had the chicken corn chowder, a sirloin with mushrooms and the sweet potatoes. Yum! And everywhere you look, there are dollar bills stuck to the walls. I asked the server. She said it was a tradition to sign the dollar and pin it to the wall. They collect the dollars, and donate them to charities, like breast cancer research. So of course, I signed my dollar! I'll eat here again!

I was in Holland on business and decided to try Crazy Horse based on the reviews on Yelp. It was really a wonderful experience - Great atmosphere, service, and selection. Food was prepared properly, served at the right temperature and was very tasty. The dollar bill thing caught my interest and I was told by the server that they collect the money a few times a year and donate it to a local charity. This time the money will go to help a staffer with a child that has health concerns - I gladly contributed to the cause. Overall Crazy Horse was a great choice and I'll definitely go back when visiting Holland in the future.

It's not bad. It's not the best prime rib I've ever had (House of Prime Rib in SF is definitely better), but it's not bad. It's not a restaurant that I'd go to out of my own volition, but if a friend was interested in going, I woudn't mind going there.

I went the Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon based on the good Yelp reviews it already had. My family and I were visiting Holland. We were more than impressed with the food, fair prices, and great service. We went with three kids all under ten and we all left happy. I had the Thursday night special of surf and turf. The price was reasonable and it came with potato side, soup or salad. Every bite was fresh and delicious. They had ribs on the kids menu which made my kids happy. They also give each child a peach and an Oreo cookie pack which my kids loved to get. My husband got the burger with mushrooms and he said it was one of the best he has ever eaten. The selection of sides was great (loaded sweet potato, garlic smashed red potatoes, fries, veggies). I had chicken corn chowder soup that was good. An added bonus is that you get a fresh basket of hot garlicky biscuits with butter:) Loved it and will be back next year for sure.

I was in Holland on business and this was recommended to me by one of the people that we were working with. When we walked up to the door and was greeted with a whiny and a gallop I had to chuckle. The places was crowded on a Monday evening so that was a good sigh. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive out going. I ordered the NY strip with double up vegetables and I admit that I was very surprised by the quality and taste of this steak. If your in Holland and you want a good steak at a good price in a fun place then this is the place to go.

If your in town and want a great meal stop in at the Crazy Horse. A non-chain family steakhouse. The staff is always friendly, even when the place is packed and the food is great. Have some chicken corn chowder and rolls to start and then choose from a bunch of wonderful items on the menu. I get something different every time I go and I've never been disappointed. Whenever someone from out of town asks me where to eat I tell them to go the the Horse.

Stopped here on our way through town and it was amazing. Food was excellent (and portions were super sized), atmosphere was fun and friendly and our waitress was awesome!! Wondering why there's dollar bills tacked all over the walls? Ask your server, its an interesting story. We added one while we were there.

Ok, I've been to several steakhouses in Chicago and while the Chicago Chop House and G&G are quite good, this Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon we visited during vacation in Holland, MI takes the cake. I don't think I've ever had a better 16oz cut of Prime Rib, and the price is $17.79 with soup, salad, and choice of potato. The filet was perfect as well! I cannot rave enough about this place! But, get there early or call ahead as there may be a 90 minute wait at peak hours on Saturday. We got there at 5pm and it was 90 minutes...ciao!

This place is awesome! It looks a little cheezy from the outside, as it's on the end of a strip mall, but food and service are excellent! They have a few nice TVs in the bar, and the decor in the bar and restaurant is really cool, too. They have a limited beer selection, but the beers that they do offer are pretty good. Of note, there are $1 bills all over the place on the walls. Our server told us that they go to a charity of the owner's choosing every month(I think it was every month), so they encourage their patrons to pin a buck on the wall. Fun place!
