Best bagels in Holland! The Albuquerque sandwich is my favorite. The seasonal bagel are always fantastic as well.

Food is good enough. Pretty tough to mess up bagels though.. And the customer service is absolute garbage!! I was having a meeting and was literally kicked out at closing time which is a geriatric 4pm. I have been twice and will never return.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way through town. The bagels were delicious! I had a BLT sandwich on Asiago. The bagels were had just the right "bite" and "chew". We waited about 5-10 minutes for our sandwiches. I wasn't crazy about the iced coffee although my friend liked the regular hot coffee. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

I love this place! For me the star of their lineup is the Jalapeno Cheddar bagel! For a white guy like me that can't handle any burning sensations, but likes the flavor of jalapenos these bagels are perfect. They have some small pieces of seeded jalapenos, but generally speaking not enough to make this white guy suffer. They have a large variety of bagels and have something for everybody. Their flavors range from plain to chocolate chip and a lot of areas in between. The store itself is clean and has a nice seating area and the service is friendly so there's nothing to dislike here. TIP: It's been a while since I hit this place right before closing, but they used to sell their remaining bagels for half price during the last hour before they close. So for more frugal buyers if they are still doing it that's a great way to splurge without busting the budget. Their bagels do hold up nicely stored in the refrigerator so stock up if you can get them half price! On the paper bags that they put the bagels in they have storage suggestions printed on the bag.

I moved here from 2 miles outside of Manhattan in November 2014. I say this to say that I have a pretty good working knowledge of what a good quality "Big Apple" (New York City) bagel tastes like. I came here at approximately 8:40 am on a Wednesday to have a bagel with cream cheese. I ordered a toasted onion bagel with vegetable cream. My compadre ordered a bagel sandwich with lox and cream cheese. My experience here was mediocre at best. For some reason it took them literally over 10 minutes to fulfill our measly two person uncooked order . I don't think the deli person in back had much experience with the lox sandwich menu item. As we were waiting I perused the cream cheese display beneath the counter. There apparently is some bizaare fetish sweeping Big Apple's clientele with sweet cream cheeses. I kid you not, literally a third of the cream cheeses offered were sweet. To name a few: chocolate chip, maple syrup, blueberry, two types of strawberry, and apple. I find this odd and not very appetizing. Then I noticed the oxymoron the "light cream cheeses". Just for the record, if your trying to lose weight or eat healthy you really shouldn't be eating bagels and cream cheese for breakfast, period. Noticeably absent from the cream cheeses were regular vegetable cream cheese (they only had light which I didn't realize when I ordered) and olive cream cheese. Coming from New York, the bagels were unusual. They were shorter and thicker than your classic bagel back east. They were too fluffy. Personally, not my cup of tea. Big Apple Bagel could benefit from a lesson or two from a good jewish bagel maker in New York or New Jersey. After all, it was the jews not the dutch that brought bagel from eastern Europe to New York City.

Always a comfortable, clean, friendly environment to grab breakfast or lunch and relax! The bagels and entire selection are everything you could expect. The atmosphere provides a variety of seating options, including private chairs and a fireplace for quiet reading, barstools in front of the window, or high-back booths for a bit of privacy while dining. Really kind and friendly owners and staff make this a highlight little stop in South Holland!
