I thought the service was very good. We had 5 people and a 2 year old and a baby. The waitress brought out the two year olds food early because we had a deep dish pizza that took time to cook, every waitress should do that when little kids are involved,. Or at least ask if they would like the food to come out first for the kiddos. We were able to get her eating before our food came. Nice work on that! For what we ordered I thought the bill was a little price. Our bill was $100, add a nice tip and now you are up to $120. That is what we could have paid for steak dinners. The Stromboli was good, but I got onions on it and they needed to cook longer, and the crust was good but the dipping sauce was awful and didn't have very good taste hardly any flavor. My wife got the fish and she enjoyed it. My father in law got the antipasto salad and he said it had way too much cheese for his liking. My brother in law and sister in law got a deep dish pizza that they enjoyed. It came out fairly quick for deep dish as well. Another thing that my wife and I noticed was neither bathroom had a changing table for babies. I have issues with this, because the wall hanging changing tables are not expensive and both men's rooms and ladies rooms need them in every restaurant. It aggravates me when men's rooms don't have them when I need to change my kids. We ended up changing our baby in the front seat of the car on a cold night, and that is not fun. This looks like a family restaurant so they should have them, they should call Gordon's food service and order two and get them installed ASAP.

The food is all frozen...Way over priced...Back in the day when it was in the old mall it was the only place to eat in Frankenmuth...Not anymore!!!

Frankenmuth doesn't appear to have an overwhelming amount of choices for breakfast but this little gem serves a nice menu selection. The staff is nice and the meal was good. The place doesn't scream from the outside to come in for breakfast, but we were pleased that we stopped in.

This place has the most delicious Stromboli I've had in my entire life. Service is average and decor is dated, prices are a tad high, but I really loved that Stromboli.

This is a neat, clean family business on the north end of Frankenmuth . The crust and sauce are wonderful and they serve up a nice salad . In a town with a german theme Pizza ?? Yes Pizza and good I might say ...They offer a nice selection and some domestic beers and wine also . It is very obvious this is where the locals go to enjoy wonderful pizza pie . We have been there at least 4 times and plan to go back .

I was trying to find something different in Frankenmuth- and was lucky to find this place. Even though it was a Saturday night, the place was not crowded, and our service was excellent. I tried the lasagna, which I found to be pretty good. The noodles were cooked properly, the sauce was rich with chunks of tomato and ground beef. There was a lot of great move tells melted over the whole thing. The only thing I found lacking was there was no ricotta cheese inside the lasagna. That would have rounded it out perfectly. Still, it was very good. My wife had the seafood platter- cod, perch, and shrimp, along with a baked potato. Both were fairly good. Salad was fresh too, and I enjoyed a beer with the meal. Overall- solid "3.5 to 4" out of five, and a nice change of pace for dinner in Frankenmuth, Michigan. . The name says it is Italian, the menu just says decent food at a fair price. Give it a try.

Visited on a Monday night. Self eating. Waitress came quickly, took order, and the food arrived quickly. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Veggies were fresh and the chicken was cooked well. Unfortunately after my meal came I didn't see the waitress again until the bill came. My tea was empty but she didn't offer a refill. Sorry, but keeping me with something to drink is a sticking point. The window sill was dusty and had a dead fly laying in it, so not so sure about the cleanliness aspect. Of course a fly can die anytime! Average value for money paid.

Pizza was bland and overdone. Made my wife and I feel a little queasy afterword. Would not recommend it.

We took our 89 and 93 year old cousins out for lunch here and I was not impressed. I had the grilled chicken salad. It consisted of a pile of "white" Iceberg lettuce, the stuff that you find near the core and 'inside' the head, with some cubed chicken (and I mean SMALL cubes, about 3/8 inch square), a few pieces of chopped up bacon, and not much more. Very poor. $9.00. The 'Pot Roast Soup' was very thick and pasty, like leftover stuff reheated. We'll cross that one off the list for our next visit. Va F'anculo!

Wow, truly terrible. A group of 5 of us went there for a work lunch. Realized it probably wasn't very good when there only a few cars in the parking lot at 12:30 on a Friday. Waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was horrible. Soggy, gray onion rings (I think they were red onions to begin with). The steak sandwich that had mystery meat. Dry, stale buns. Ketchup that was a scary, dark red. They pushed the lunch buffet, which contained only 5 different items and was only a few feet long. I stopped at 7-11 on the way back to the office for something to eat because I was still hungry.

Ignore the bad reviews for this place, or read them and realize they made the folly of ordering non-Italian food at an Italian restaurant. I personally have heard great things about the pizza, but I had to get the vegetable ravioli with pesto sauce. I was really happy with that. Everyone else was generally happy with their meal as well. The marinara sauce on my wife's dish could have been sweetened up a little, but that's about it. The prices are also very fair. I plan on going back and giving something else a try.

We got a recommendation for this place on our last night in town, and didn't end up going until about 9pm. Now I'm a little bummed we waited that long! It showed up on my Yelp Map when I was searching for 'pizza' in Frankenmuth, but it's off the main downtown area, and we didn't have a car at all times, so we passed on going here a few days. We walked in and the place was empty except for 1 other table. We took a seat and the server immediately came over. As we browsed the menu, he was already pouring a smallish glass of water for everyone! This was great because even if you're a soda drinker, it's always nice to have some water on the table too! The menu was extensive, from Italian favorites to pizza and even Mexican food, everyone in our party found something they were excited about. Our food came out nice a hot. We had a smorgasbord of 2 pizzas, nachos, fried veggies, rolls, salad, and some pasta with hot Italian sausage. The veggies were lightly battered and served with ranch, but it wasn't a problem for us to get a side of pizza sauce as a substitute. My 2-year-old got the pasta with hot Italian sausage, and after I cut it up and it cooled down, she was silent for about 10 minutes while she ate to her hearts content. And our pizza, oh our pizza! The crust was traditional, not too thin and not too thick. We got it with a white sauce with tomatoes and basil. Everything was quality, especially our server. He was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. He was quick with drink refills, but I never got the feeling he was hovering around because we were his only table. The seating area that was open was medium sized, the also had a side room that could be opened during the busy days, but closed for a private banquet when requested. If only we knew how good this place was before the last day, we would of become regulars within the short time we were in town!

Not a horrible place. Have been there quite a few times and each time have left there with a "just okay" feeling of how my food was. Their eagles are pretty good, along with their chicken pizza but anything else I've had was just average. Largest complaint is that the glasses for drinking are a little larger than an orange juice glass. I drink my beverage quickly so very often my glass was empty because my server didn't have time to fill it. Not her fault at all, I just wish they would have larger glasses. Other than that, nice staff, okay food, and a nice atmosphere.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
