Wow. I have been wanting to check this place out since it opened, I used to go to the Speakeasy here often. It is completely different, and I was very impressed to discover something like this in Gensee County. There are a good range of prices, including some really high end stuff. I have to say, I was a little surprised at the price of my dinner ($86), BUT this is one time that I can say it was worth every penny. Probably the best surf and turf I have had. My friends meal was only $15, so there seems to be something for everyone. Over all, I was excited to see another great place for food in the Flint area. I wish I had a picture, but I ate it too fast.

We came for drinks on Saturday night and were blown away by the ambiance of this place and the service we received. It doesn't look like much from the road but WOW will you be shocked when you go through the parking lot and go inside...I forgot I was in Genesee County - we could have been in a hot Vegas restaurant. We sat inside at the bar and then moved outside to enjoy the live music, waterfalls and firepits...all while sitting on comfy couches. Perfect! Treat yourself to this place. It's a real gem and the area deserves to have a classy establishment like this where you live it up! Oh - and if you are engaged and looking for a wedding venue for your reception I would DEFINITELY check this place out. Had it been open last year when I was looking we would have totally considered this. Your guests will be impressed and the ability to have both indoor and outdoor spaces is very cool.

This is the old Speakeasy place. Updated ambiance and very different look. My wife had the filet and I had the prime rib. Wait staff was attentive but seems they are still working out bugs in their system. For such a nice place it was noisy. I could hear at least 4 different conversations from across the room. (Still quieter than Lucky's). I thought the food was overpriced for the quality. I have had much better beef at several other restaurants in town. My wife's filet was overcooked and side dishes were not hot. I thought it interesting that a poor review was screened as not recommended since they gave it one star. Yelp needs to keep those reviews here as I could imagine SCH would have been that bad. This restaurant is nothing to brag about. Was hoping it would be a nice quiet romantic dinner but noisy and food rates only 3 stars. I will try again as we were there the first month of operation.

The restaurant itself is very nice inside and outside, the dim lighting makes for a romantic atmosphere. But, It was one of the worst restaurants that I have ever been to. We had a reservation at 6:30 and didn't sit down until 7:30, and didn't get our food until almost 9. The waiter only checked in twice with us. The food was so bland and dry that we had to use butter and sour cream on our mashed potatoes just to tolerate it. The filet mignon was burnt and over cooked. The lobster was okay. Terrible service by the waiter and the owner who skipped our reservation several times and sat people who had later reservations before us. Then accused us of not being there when we sat at the bar for an hour, waiting and listening. I would never recommend anyone to go here.

My husband and I dined at the Signature Chop House on a Wednesday night in August 2014. The restaurant is exceptionally beautiful!! The entry way is so inviting and you are greeted by an extensive collection of wine that covers a full wall. We had the scallops and the seafood dish over linguini. Both were delicious with generous portions of seafood!! The event manager, Greg introduced himself and after dinner gave us a tour of the facility. The banquet room is really gorgeous so check it out if anyone is planning a party or wedding.

My family made a 5 o'clock reservation for the Easter buffet. The new decor was lovely. We were seated in the banquet room that was sparsely occupied. We started eating around 5:15. There was a lot of food, but except for the prime rib , everything was pretty mediocre The only dessert was a few cookies. We asked for coffee and were served black tea. Others ordered iced tea and were served sweet tea. The really annoying thing that happened was exactly at 6 o'clock , the waiters stripped all the linens from the empty tables and we sat with our "coffee" and dessert cookie looking at the plywood tables. Part of the staff came out and started helping themselves to the buffet. When we left at 6:10 we had to wait until the hostess unlocked the door. Quite a surprise when we felt that their actions were saying , " Get out of here! ". Too bad, we were hoping for a nice, upscale restaurant in Flushing, but this isn't it.

4.5 stars. Most beautiful outdoor drinking venue in genesee county. Wonderful large fountain near comfortable outdoor furniture. Octagonal outdoor bar with tvs. Great $10 sandwich menu. (Make sure you ask for the sandwich menu!) Half off apps during happy hour is an amazing deal - flatbread pizzas, beef tips, are excellent. Pricey but quality dinners give it a 4.5 for my pocket book. The owner Joseph is conscientious, personable, and actively present. Bottom line though is it is a great place to relax outside and have a drink and not have some crappy view of a parking lot like most outdoor establishments in the area.

It would be difficult to match the quality of this top-notch restaurant, without being in a "Big-money" city. The owner busts his but to attend to every detail. It's absolutely as close to a five-star chophouse/restaurant as you can find. I had the great experience of haveing my son&daughter-in-law's wedding dinner at "SIGNATURE" and the event and food was very-very good. That was only the second time that I had been there, but have since been there more times. The food is very good and at a fair price. For fine family dining, I don't think anyplace matches the signature chop-house with-in 75 miles. Money and time well spent. RJM

My hubby wanted to take me out for a nice dinner. He tried to get reservations at a couple places we both liked but one one closed and the other didn't answer their phone. A co worker recommended this place, we didn't know it existed. We were very happy with our food and the service. I had a filet cooked perfectly medium rare and my hubby had the ribeye cooked medium, also cooked perfect. We both had salads and the fancy potatoes. I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! Best food & atmosphere in Genesee County. The outdoor patio is the place to be on a summer night!

Wish I could review this restaurants food , however we couldn't even get a waiter. The odd thing was that the couple seated directly in front of us was eating a appetizer and had three visits. I did everything but yelled fire and still could not get a waiter. What is really sad was when I walked out,all the waiters and waitresses were hanging out inside with the three tables that had guests. And its not like we were "stealth ninjas" and sat down with out anyone knowing, we were sat by the hostess and served water by the bus boy..buuuuttt that was it! So if the service was any indication of how the food was....for that amount of money..I will gladly pass!

We arrived for our 7:00 reservation at 6:45 and were seated at 7:50 in the bar area with butts of waiting patrons jammed up against our table. It took 15 minutes to get a drink and order and from there it took another 30 minutes to be told they had run out of the foods we ordered. So, exactly 2 hours after arriving we left without getting to eat. Happy Valentines Day! I heard the food is really good, but I don't think we will be returning to find out for real.

I have been visiting my in laws in Flint for 20 years and have never been to a restaurant of this quality near their home before. As I understand it, the new owners took over 2 years and spared no expense to renovate this this property. The result is a great dining experience. We were 3 generations celebrating a 48th wedding anniversary. We ordered a variety of dishes including steak, chicken and pasta. Everything, including side dishes, was EXCELLENT. The staff was personable and attentive. The venue is modern but welcoming. It is beautifully done and offers a number of comfortable zones for couples, groups and catering for special events. The patio has great appeal. We'll definitely be back!

Had the Sea Bass and the service was great and the Sea Bass was very good. I would recommend if you're looking for an upscale dinner in the Flushing/Flint area.

I don't know where to begin. Valentines night, romantic dinner with my wife. I should of known when we walked in and the line was 30 deep and the hostess at the desk wouldn't look me in the eye. The gentlemen next to her was the owner appeared to be more concerned about his friends who where waiting for tables. We had reservations for 8pm arrived at 7 so we could have a wine or two before dinner. To make a long story short, it's 9pm and no table, I went up to the desk waited 15 minutes for someone to come back and when they did I was told it would be at least until 1030p before we were seated. What was strange was I saw at least 6 open tables along with 7 open in the bar. No communication, rude staff, unorganized. We left and went to a local Italian restaurant in flushing! We saw at least 30 walk out of the restaurant. Very disappointed!

I am a resident of Flushing and really hoped that I could give the restaurant 5 stars. The atmosphere and decor is very impressive and our waitress was good. However, there are issues that need to be corrected or this restaurant will be out of business within a couple of years. First of all, there is an extensive wine list but the prices were all very high. The cheapest my wife found was eight dollars for a small glass. I wanted a beer and the waitress told us about the beers that were on draft and also mentioned that they had some bottled craft beers. Unfortunately, she had no knowledge of beer / types of beer. They really need to add a beer list with descriptions for those of us who don't drink wine. I ordered a rib eye and my wife ordered the prime rib. Both were okay but nothing special. If you wanted to add a topping to the steak (enhancements) that was extra. The sides were just okay but again nothing special. Our bill for our entrees, desert, one wine and a beer was $91.00. For the overall quality of the food, I thought that it was overpriced and the wine was very much overpriced. The prices for the food and wine need to come down. This has the look of a gourmet restaurant but the food is not gourmet quality.

The long awaited opening of the former Speakeasy restaurant in Flushing is over. The new SCH is open with all of its beauty and ambiance. We went for Easter buffet and was treated to the worst excuse for a gourmet dinner I've every had at any price, and it was pricey! We had a 3 o'clock seating and either they had ran out of most of the food or just didn't have much to begin with. The deserts consisted of store bought cookies and a few pieces of brownies. They offer us mimosa's to drink, which would normally be included but failed to tell us they were $7.00 a pop. We were seated @ 3:10 and had left by 3:45. No one ever took our plates away went we went back hoping there was a little more food out. We really should have look under the food trays before we started and just walked out.

My wife and four of our friends attempted to have dinner at 7pm Saturday having called for reservations one week in advance! We were seated at 7:10 which was acceptable except we were placed at a table for four which made our friends feel a bit crowded! We attempted to order a sirloin steak ,lobster risotto ,Chilean sea bass all of which they were out of!!! How can a chop house run out of a SIRLOIN steak! Unfortunely, it took 2 hours before we were served dinner!!! During those 2 hrs we were never offered a larger table of 6 even tho 2 tables became available! A party next to us attempted to order simple baked potatoe and were told they ran out!!!Finally the owner came by our table asking in a rather hurried fashion how our dinners were! He responded to our complaints very nonchalantly stating they had a few large parties!!! He later came back and offered a drink or dessert ,we declined! Our friends from Fenton informed the owner they would not come back!! Inspite of the many mishaps our waitress was very friendly and cordial!!! This is our third attempt and this restaurant does not perform to its high priced menu!!
