I love this place. I read the other reviews here and they complain that it isn't real Philly Cheese Steak, that the bread is old, dry, bland, but I have eaten here numerous times and their bread is as close to the real thing as I've seen in Michigan. The bread on a cheese steak is an Italian crusty roll, which should, as the name implies, be crusty. If you're expecting the flaccid bread you get at Subway I guess this may seem old or dry, neither of which is true. I guess that people expect a cheese steak to contain highly seasoned meat for the reviews I've seen here, however that isn't the case. A real CS is thinly sliced steak, a little salt, a little pepper and cheese. That's it. So I'm not understanding all hate I've seen here as it has always been fast, fresh, and tasty everytime I been there.

I was fairly excited when they opened up as I am a big fan of steak and cheese sandwiches. I am less so now. The roll was pretty fresh and tasted ok but that shouldn't be the best part. The sandwich was a little light on steak and appeared to be from the frozen food section. I got cheese, grilled onions and yellow peppers which was all ok. I would eat here again if I happened to be hungry and standing outside but for nine bucks I was expecting a little more.

Don't waste your money. Extremely overpriced. We tried different things: the Italian hoagie, the cheese steak, cheese fries, and the Mac and cheese bites. To say we were extremely disappointed doesn't do it justice. The bread for the sandwiches was rock hard, the cheese steak was about as bland as it could get, and the cheese fries consisted of frozen section grocery store style fries halfway cooked, and covered in what looked to be velveeta. I barely ate any of my meal, and chalked this up to a fairly expensive fail.

The website states that this is the "Home of the Authentic Philly Cheese Steak". A claim like that had me hoping for something amazing, but was I was very disappointed. I ordered a Cheese Steak Hoagie. Bread had a very weird old and dry flavor. The Cheese Steak was way under seasoned, and the meat tasted old as well, and like it came from the cheapest cut of meat. One person who was with me clearly ordered a Cheese Steak Hoagie and was given a Chicken Hoagie instead. When she told the server about the error, rather than correct the mistake, the server claimed that she received what she ordered and walked off. I am forgiving about this and might give it another chance down the road if I see reviews getting better. But right now, I don't want to go back.

My husband is from Philly and loves cheesesteaks. He thought the cheesesteak was great. I ordered an Italian hoagie and it was very good although there was no dressing on it. I don't know if you have to order the dressing or if they just didn't get it right. Luckily I had the dressing at home so it wasn't a big deal. I will definitely be ordering again.

Wow a major disappointment. Certainly not a cheesesteak from Philly. I did not receive what I ordered and was over charged on top of that. What no cheese whiz? I was told no sir you have to request that for an additional charge. Nowhere on the menu does it say that! 20 cents extra for steak sauce... Are you kidding me? Don't waste $4.50 on the onion rings its not worth it. Just stay home and get your money's worth!
