Now if you want a real Sammitch, this is the place to go. Everything is fresh, the portions are huge and you will walk away full and still have another half a Sammitch to take home for later. The service is great and the food is even better.

First time through - great food - we will be back soon!!! My wife & I split a Cuban. It was toasted nicely with just the right amount of bbq and crunch. They have a large selection of homemade soups which they will let you try a spoonful before committing to a cup or bowel. Loved the pasta fogoli soup- but the Mushroom Brie soup is worth considering. The one menu item you should definitely order - The COOKIES!!! If you ask nicely - the will run them through the oven. Soft on top and crunchy on the bottom - awesome !!!

We love The Fenton deli! I have visited twice and this last sandwich "the cowboy" was perfect! Combine the excellent food with friendly service and it beats going to any other sandwich place.

Super original sandwich combinations. Extremely fair pricing for what you get. It's an overwhelming amount of food. The bread is soft and crunchy at the same time, which is perfect. Nice couple that's owns the place. Refreshing look at sandwiches and not the same old sandwich shop. Kudos!

Hands down the best sandwich I have ever had. Everything was so fresh and they didn't skimp on the meat like most places do. One sandwich was big enough for 2! Love this place and I hope I can make it down again soon.

The subs are decent, but not spectacular. Service was OK, but the staff didn't seem very happy.

The wolverine sandwich was really good. It is a bit confusing trying to pick from so many choices. The small isize is plenty of food.

We stopped in for lunch. My companion got the Spartan and he said it was very tasty and just a little spivey so he enjoyed that. I got the cordon bleu. The chicken was chunks of moist chicken, shaved ham and some bacon crumbles and it was very generous on the blue cheese dressing, loved it!! The sandwiches are large, getting a small with some chips (wide variety to choose from) will fill most anyone. Highly recommend giving the Fenton Deli a try. We will be back for sure.

By far the best sandwich I've ever had. Got the Fenton Club and it was out of this world! Not overly salty for being deli meat. Way better quality than Subway, doesn't taste all processed and much better than Jimmy Johns. Will not go to any other place for a sandwich from now on. Highly recommended!

I love this place! My husband & I can share a sub and both be stuffed. Quality meats & veggies are important & I love that they'll give you samples of the sauces.

Best sub in town, no arguments. Friends and I would regularly go here for lunch. Prices often rise a couple times a year though and are now out of range for what any of us are comfortable spending for lunch. You get a large sandwich, but I would rather have a bit less and the price lowered. It's basically $3.00 just for a normal bag of chips and a medium fountain drink. Couple that with small sandwiches that are almost all $7 or more and you are at over $10 for a simple lunch. I would definitely come back much more often if it wasn't for the prices. If you do go here, enjoy a very good sandwich, just be prepared with both a large appetite and a large, open wallet.

Yummy Reuben here. :) One of Husband's co-workers recommended to him this local deli for their Reuben sandwich, so this is what we tried. If you have never been here, it's basically a converted Quizno's. However, their product offerings are MUCH better, so don't run away! :) The menu is pretty overwhelming at first because they have a lot of additional offerings that are taped to the walls, and numerous specials. Your eyes will be darting around for a bit, but in the end, you will definitely find something that you'll like. They offer quite a few sizes for their sub sandwiches, small (6") at $5.99, medium (10") at $6.99, and large (13") at $7.99. Husband and I like to share, so we got one large. It is REALLY BIG! I mean, they cut my half in half, so essentially, the sandwich is 4 quarters, and quite a mouthful. The corned beef was light, nicely seasoned, and thinly sliced. Not overly peppery with the spices in the meat, and had a slight sweetness. Best of all, not greasy! The thousand island sauce I thought to be strange initially, but after biting into it, the flavor it complimented their sauerkraut really well. The subtle sour, acidic after tones were nicely balanced with the sweetness of the sauce. Two thinly sliced pieces of swiss cheese rounded off a warm, toasty and savory sub. I forget what our friend ordered, but he was satisfied with his sandwich as well, even with the medium. Anyhow, we were pleasantly surprised about this place. Sure it looks like a Quizno's but with purple and yellow menu signs, and maybe the service is a little slow and the girl was a little disheveled, but the food speaks for itself. The quantity and quality for the price is justifiable, much better than Quizno's, and a great local place to grab a quick Reuben. I'll probably try another one of their subs next time, but knowing Husband, he just might be sold on the Reuben! Check it out if you're in the area. It's located inside a strip mall next to a Sprint store.

The best sandwiches and pizza. They don't skimp on the meat. Their sauces are amazing. And they always have unique combinations to try.

Wow just had a medium garlic Parmesan chicken sandwich. It was delicious and plenty. Had to box up half of it. Highly recommend Fenton deli if you want a great meal. The staff are super friendly and very helpful for a newbie. I will be back.

First time comming in, and fell in love! The owners are down home super nice. I ordered the "humpty Dumpty" wich had egg salad, ham, bacon and cheese on rye bread-all of which is home made and delicsious! I was very impressed and will deffinately make Fenton Deli a part of our stop in the times to come!

The food was great! First off, the service is great. Everyone is friendly, the food is made quickly, and served hot. We had the BBQ Sub (shredded beef with BBQ sauce and swiss cheese) and the Picasso, a steak sub with Cattleman's Sauce (think Carolina BBQ sauce), and nacho sauce. To add to the who thing, they had Tater Tots...that's right, little nuggets of of potato deliciousness. I'm glad we stopped by, we'll be back again soon!

One of my favorite lunch places in Fenton. Always friendly, fast service because the owner is most likely to be the one making your sandwich. An almost endless selection to choose from and the best soups on the area. Always a winner.

Great original menu. Love all the sub choices. Whatever you're in the mood for, you'll find it! Meats always seem like good quality. Service- mostly good. I thought maybe it was "just me" but the first couple of times I went there I felt a little talked down to by the owner. The menu is very large and if you've never been there before, the whole ordering process can be complex. My feelings were confirmed recently when I saw him do it to another lady when she clearly hadn't been there before and asked him a question. Except this lady stood up for herself and said "hey now, some of us have never been here before" to which his reply was "that's why I'm tellin ya, now you know." Then my husband whispered, "yeah the owner definitely comes of as arrogant sometimes" so it wasn't just me! After going there for the past couple of years though, I feel like he really means no harm. I get the feeling that may just be his sense of humor. Despite not always loving the service, it really is a great place sandwiches. I agree with a couple of the other reviews though...the Mac and cheese is not good! Their sandwiches are so good they could probably do away with many of the misc. items on their menu and save theirselves some money. It's all about the sandwiches. There that good!

I called them on the phone and asked them how late they were open. The guy told me 9. Now why is it that I was there BEFORE 8 and all the lights were off!!!!! If you planned in closing early you should have said so. Fucking bullshit!!!!

This place never fails to disappoint. They make subway seem like McDonalds. Great sub selection with a menu that leaves you going back and forth between 4-5 subs. The only reason I gave this a 4/5 is the $$ of the subs is kind've steep but well worth it. I hope they establish a location closer to Grand Blanc.

I drive 23 every day and I always saw the sign on the freeway. I decided to stop in and give it a try. I ordered the medium steak sand. It was big and very hot and tasty.

I heard about Fenton Deli from a few friends and had to try it out. I must warn you; once you eat there, you won't be able to stop. Fresh ingredients, great food, and the sub of the month is always something to look forward to. The staff is always very energetic and friendly, and it's always fun to talk with the owner (he's always there cranking out great food!) and see what he has up his sleeve. The craziest thing is the price of a sub. One large will easily feed 2 people, and it's only 9.99!! You also get a punch card that gives you a free sub every time you buy 10...I'm on my 3rd one in 2 months! Bottom line; don't pass this place up. Quite possibly my favorite place to eat in the entire state when I want a sub!

We were expecting a deli but instead we found a sub shop. Minus one star. Pre cooked and pre packaged food being prepared for you while you wait. Minus one star. Reheated soup in the microwave in front of us. Minus one star. Lunch was close to $40 bucks for two of us. Minus one star. Friendly and fast employees. Plus one star. Family owned. Plus one star. For what it is, the portions were large and the flavors were better than average. Plus one star. We will definetly return again with more realistic expectations and update our review :)

The line at lunch time will tell you that people in the area love this place. It's an awesome deli - great sandwiches - they also have really good chili. Staff is always friendly - Sandwiches are huge!

Totally disagree with the last post. We love the Fenton Deli...no it's not technically a deli, but their sandwiches are much higher quality than Quiznos or Subway. The bread in particular is always fresh and delicious and you get a ton of sandwich for your money! If you're looking for a mediocre, slightly stale sandwich with no pizazz, go to Subway. But if you're looking for a family-owned business that serves up fresh, delicious sandwiches then try Fenton Deli. We really enjoyed their soups, too. If you want an actual deli...go to VGs.

We only recently discovered the awesomeness that is the Fenton Deli. I'll admit, we were skeptical: My husband is from New York, his mother worked in delis there for years, and so anything claiming to be a deli is going to get scrutinized by this family. WOW. Are we ever glad that we got past that prejudice and tried it. FANTASTIC. Fresh ingredients-with as many sourced locally as possible. Excellent quality ingredients. Friendly service. Our dollars are going to support a local family when we eat here, and that's incredibly important to us. In fact, I'm craving it again, right now, even though we had it for dinner just last night. Mmmmm Fenton Deli....

I concur with my former VG's co-worker, this place is the bomb dot com. I would describe it as a much better Subway and Quiznos rolled into one. Everything that you don't like about each is resolved here There's a plethora of options to choose from; so, the fate of the sandwich is up to you. Indubitably, I will return.

Best deli ever. Their portions and quality are amazing and the owners are super sweet. Turkey guacomole is my favorite. My kids stumbled onto this gem because of its great value and wonderful quality!!

I had a Mr. Bubbles sub and some mac and cheese. The mac and cheese tasted like it was just microwaved from Gordon Food Service. The fish in the sub tasted like it was frozen Mr. Gortons patties that you can buy at any grocery store. The sub and mac and cheese were fine tasting, not bad at all. The people rating this place 5 stars must not really be knowledgeable about quality food. The two star rating is because I was ripped off. I presented a coupon for a discount. When I heard the total I asked if the 15% off had been applied and was told "yes". But the numbers didn't add up, that's when I went back and said I didn't get the 15% off. Come to find out the price for the sub was incorrect, they increased the prices but didn't change the price on their sign! And then I was told that I was right, the discount was not applied. Well then why did you tell me that it was applied before? When I feel I have been ripped off by a business, I NEVER return.
