I am giving this place four stars because I like smaller , low key places but some people may not like this older bar. There is no food but they have great draft prices. Everyone seems very friendly and non click-like but there are a few 'regulars' that have their favorite stools! Quiet place to meet for pool or drinks...at least til the juke box gets played.

China Gourmet

Recommended. Without a doubt the best Chinese food in DeWitt, and among the best within the Lansing area. All items are fresh-cooked on the spot, so there are no "frozen entre" problems, as we see with the chain eateries. Having eaten at many Chinese-style restaurants; be assured that the taste of Chinese Gourmet's food is better than average, beating the near-by and awful Ingcredible by an enormous margin. Chinese Gourmet's prices are very reasonable, portions are large! One dinner with rice and spring- or egg- rolls will feed 2 adults. The staff is true-to-China-Chinese, and charmingly gracious. I have never had any trouble asking them for "no sugar", "no salt" etc. Take-out itself is fast and well-prepared. Yes, you can eat in; just don't expect "Grauman's Chinese" décor. The food is the family's focus, not phoney Ming vases.
Food was good to ok. Employees friendly. Place could be much cleaner. Couldn't answer specific questions about meals. Been there 2 times and first time found a hair in my meal. Always try to give it another chance.
I love China Gourmet. The owners are friendly, the price is right, and it's always made fresh unlike the other people down the road....My favorite is the Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew Chicken. The Curry Chicken is also great. Give them a try!

Draft House

Reviews:
Dewitt is, a northern suburb of Lansing; lots of chain stores and strip malls. For a more satisfying meal or drink if you're in town or just passing through, visit The Draft House, a smallish roadhouse/sports bar right on Old 27. Solid bar food; the menu isn't all that e citing, but the daily specials are appealing -- during our visit the day's specials included pan fried bluegill with hushpuppies, a pork, roasted corn chimichangas and Cajun broiled salmon. The pedestrian beer menu is likewise enlivened by seasonal craft beer specials from Michigan microbreweries like Short's and Arcadia. (Although the bar seemed to be stretching it a bit by including Killian's Red -- seriously? -- on its list.) We just stopped in for a beer and a nosh, but we give two thumbs up to the house-smoked chicken wings...much better than I expected. Our service was friendly but hurried -- we stopped in on a crazy-busy Friday evening. The bar's patrons run the demographical gamut, it on the evening we stopped in there were lots of families with children as well as TGIFing officeworkers and tradespeople, and retirees. It seemed like a fun, affordable hangout for townies, and we enjoyed ourselves too.
My husband and I frequently go to the Draft House and I've never had a bad meal. They have a great beer selection of seasonal and local Michigan beers as well as a great casual atmosphere. Taco Tuesdays are really busy but if you can get a table I recommend the fish tacos, so good!
I love olive burgers and I was very disappointed with the one I was served here. This was my first visit to the Draft House and I had hoped for better food. It was a very thin patty that came with olive sauce in a small cup. It barely covered the burger. It also came with shredded lettuce and tomato which was strange to me. I felt like I was served a flat burger from Hot n Now with a side cup of olives. Fries were decent and the service was very quick. However, try to get there early if possible! It's extremely crowded and they don't have room for you to stand in the doorway without getting in the way of people trying to get to the restroom. I may try it again but definitely not for the burgers.

So you cross the Canadian border - and along your looong drive, you realize when you were in Ontario you didn't get to have as much Tim Horton's as you would have liked.......driving along the never-ending highway....you see a sign for Tim Hortons. All of a sudden life is brought back into you as you can already smell the Medium Double Double :)... First time at this Tim Horton's, clean location, friendly service, a full service Tim Hortons. Only thing is they don't accept Canadian cash, but that's ok! Will be adding this location as a 'favourite' in my GPS!
Never been to a Tim Hortons you say ? Me niether. Put a Starbucks sign on the front and you might not notice the difference. Oh wait, they have delicious fresh donuts here, oh, they have freash hot soups too. I had a Turkey Chipolte panini, nice crispy bread with a good amount of turkey and toppings, comes with a bag of plain Lays, just rite.
The service is painfully slow. Staff seems untrained/confused. Really moving in slow motion. Couldn't log on to the "free WIFI". A coffee shop without free WIFI is useless to us.

Relli’s Sports Bar

202 E Main St
Dewitt, 48820
Reviews:
Let me start this off by saying this place is next to a funeral home. I went there while attending a viewing for my friend. We had been in and out all day. Around 8 pm a couple of vegan friends ordered a margherita pizza with no cheese. It came out with cheese, so they had said they asked for no cheese. 45 minutes later, basically a piece of uncooked crust with a slice of tomato came out. Then after having a few drinks that's we ordered (asked for whiskey, vodka, etc. no specifications which means well drinks) the bills came with all top shelf liquor prices which NO ONE asked for. When we asked to change the bill they still came back overcharged from what they said well drinks cost. Good job in picking a location for your bar, horrible morals and ethics. I would strongly recommend never going to this place.
The Signature Chicken Salad With Raspberry Dressing Was Deeee-lish!
Ok, I'm back up to three stars for this place. Why? Because the last couple times we've gotten pizza from Relli's (take out NOT DINE IN) it was been really good. Plus the ranch is awesome. I still don't like dining in. The atmosphere sucks and the beer isn't good. Stick with picking up a pizza and taking it home.

Reviews:
First, the waitstaff was very acceptable. They were attentive. Now, the food was substandard. The raspberry iced tea was mostly syrup and did not taste good. The plain iced tea was weak and might have been reconstituted from powder. The turkey entree tasted good but was small. Lastly, the Apple pie a la mode was adequate. The apple pie itself was nothing special, and the apples were tough. The ice cream was good. I had asked for the pie warmed up. It was room temp. Sadly, not recommended. Oh, also, the Free Wi-Fi never connected properly.
This is my 1st time going to this Bob Evans and my last. The waitress was very ignorant. For starters I ask her a question regarding the price of the kids drinks. She answered my question but then says " oh but the water that you asked for is free" Uh, duh? Since when have I ever went to a restaurant where my water wasn't free. Then she brings out all the beverages and why is my glass the only one that looks like it went through World War III. Not only that but it wasn't even really crowed and it took almost 2 hours for our food to make it to our table. Last but not least, the waitress bring us our pancakes with no syrup. Like really? It took her over 2 mins to even bring the syrup back to our table. My pancakes were damn near cold by then. & to top it off my husband still gave the lady a decent tip. ( I could have smacked him..lol) We pray for people like her though.I don't know if it was jealousy or just plain Dingy ness but we won't be eating here again.
Went here for lunch on Mother's day. We had about a 15 min wait. I ordered a cheesy baked potato soup to start, and it came out luke warm. It probably would have tasted better being hot, but whatever. Some of the potato chunks in it were undercooked, and crunchy, and they put too many green onions on top. My main dish was a bacon cheeseburger, priced at 9 dollars. So I was expecting an awesome $9 worthy burger. Nope. It had one piece of bacon on it. One. Really? And the patty was flat, like a fast food beef patty, so it was well done. It also came out luke warm, and the cheese wasn't even beginning to melt on top. My husband got all you can eat pancakes, which was around $8. It came with two eggs, and a couple strips of bacon. But all he got were three pancakes, because we were in a party of six, and the waitress was hurrying us out of there. She never even asked if he wanted more, and she only came to our table twice to refill our drinks, then she was gone again. It was my first time at Bob Evans. And my last. Our bill was $30 for just me and my husband. I could have gone to a better restaurant and gotten better food for way less than that price.
