I enjoy their fresh coffee and tasty donuts. Breakfast served till noon is awesome and is a treat ,especially on the weekends. The rude staff, like another Yelper mentioned, is why I am writing this review. The rude cashier walked away as soon as i walked up to the register. Waited for five minutes. No greeting, nothing. Then i walked out. This is why I'm against raising the Federal minimum wage for most service jobs. They do such a great job now.....(insert smirk)

Tim Hortons in Midtown, thank you Jesus. Place is a little on the small side, and the line may snake out the door at peak times. No matter, they serve up the Timmy's goodness that makes life continue to be worth living. Staff are nice, and efficient, even under heavy customer load. Hope they expand maybe so you can stay and enjoy a little more comfortably, but overall a fine coffee shop only a block away from work.

coffee & donuts! Sometime this January a new Tim Hortons surprisingly popped up on Cass Ave., just south of Warren in the new student housing complex. A welcome name for this transplant canuck, though I had a good giggle at the GIANT font under the Tim Hortons logo that reads "café and bake shop" ... lol Americans. Imagine a McDonalds that had to advertise "grilled meats and fried potato vendor!" Tim Hortons is synonymous with coffee and donuts, and exists on every street corner in canada, To me, it looms somewhere between the sugary mess of a Dunkin Donuts and the slick imperialism of Star Bucks... nowhere near as corporate-pseudo-fancy as the latter, while never as depressing and unappetizing as the former (something about DD's clown colors always depress me). Their donuts are my favorite, but, in the States, they do something different to the icing/glaze that i don't like as much... it's not as shellacked here, too much like generic cake frosting. anyhu, if you like your coffee diner style, theirs will please. They do bagels and soups/sandwiches too. This particular location is already jammed with students, who didn't hesitate to take advantage of its newness. It's a little small and you're bumping elbows with everyone in there, but it smells familiar and comforting (i'm talking about the donuts!). If you've never tried their donuts before, try a dutchie. my fave.

Was glad to find a Tim Hortons within walking distance of the DIA As we were looking for a coffee & a sweet treat. The staff here was really kind-gracious-polite & very hard working! We both thought they went over & above to serve us with a genuine smile. The only slight downfall is 8 stools & one counter, but it seems 98% of their business is TOGO Also a great vantage point for people watching Make sure you glance at the hunk of iron on the restroom key..so no one walks away with it.. PS TIM you need a sign on the south outside wall Free WIFI

Tim Horton's needs to find a bigger location in Midtown Detroit. The morning line around 8 - 9am, and sometimes at other busy times of the day, nearly always snakes around the VERY SMALL seating area and sometimes out the door. This location maintains Tim's standard of freshness, though I agree that some products don't taste quite as fresh or with same ingredients as their Canadian counterparts.

Rude service, particularly in the morning!! It's hit or miss in the morning ...not sure if they do not throw away the previous night's donuts...tastes questionable at times. Overall not what it used to be.

This is strictly a review of the place and the coffee not of the donuts. I am on a diet so I haven't had their donuts yet but I got to since everyone tells me they are amazing. Anyway, the location is great and a lot of Wayne State students come here. It is a bit small but everything is brand new. The workers like to chit-chat and well the coffee will give you glucose intolerance. It is soo sweet that I drank half of it and threw the rest away. Also the way they make it is weird. It is from a dispenser. I am not going to pay 3 bucks for something that is dispensed. It is a dollar at the school coffee vending machine.

I love this place! It's right next to my school so I come here a lot. The only problem is that parking is a pain. You have to walk there or else you'll waste time in trying to figure out where to put your car. Very friendly employees

How nice it is to have a Tim Horton's within walking distance of work. Sometimes when I go to Old Main I'll stuff my pocket with money and stop by and pick up a good ole cup of java! The soup looks awesome. I did buy my cleaning staff a couple of donuts and they looked delicious! The worker was nice enough and promptly gave me my donuts and then another person got me my coffee. Small area for students, there is a counter along the windows. Don't know if they has internet service, but I think it does have wireless. Like the review rating states "A-OK". Will go back for coffee!

The place feels dead. The staff is always bored and never acknowledges you when you enter. Some of their iced shakes are good though. I'd go there only if other joints are busy.
