Rosedale Park is known for it's beautiful neighborhood, but they also are home to some great food. I stopped by Spice after a family member told me about their dessert. Now I didn't grab a slice of cheesecake or red velvet cake on this run. However, the turkey meatloaf w/collard greens was surprisingly good. I have eaten turkey products before, but never a meatloaf. It was really moist and they live up to their name because the spice was just right in those slices! An alternative to regular beef meatloaf and great even without the gravy. I also had the collard greens and those are seasoned with pork or turkey depending on the day. I enjoyed those as well since they were not too salty. This Sunday Soul Food special was $8.95 for the turkey meatloaf + 2 sides. There were also 7-8 other menu choices to choose from. Overall this is a small, carryout restaurant that also caters. They have been around since 2009 ( The article was proudly posted on the wall). The staff was friendly and made my stop pleasant. There are magazines you can read while waiting for your meal, but most people call ahead. Tip. You would miss it if you were paying attention. They are on Fenkell near the Southfield Fwy in the lot where the Rite Aid is located.
