I finally made it to the downtown Detroit Just Baked location! Today is my boss' birthday and whoops! It slipped all of our minds, so being the downtown guru that I am, my asst boss asked me where we should go in a clutch. I immediately thought of Just Baked. I checked their website, gave them a call and asked for 10 assorted cupcakes. The young lady said she'd have them ready in no time, so I skipped out of my workplace and vroomed over there -- I'd say it's a 5 minute drive, maybe a couple more with midday traffic. I found a park halfway around the Dime Bldg, but found a meter with 46 minutes on it! That's pure excitement !! I ran in and when I mentioned my boss' bday, the young lady offered to put lil Birthday picks on each of the cupcakes. Such a nice touch and very thoughtful of her to suggest that. They also had candles available for purchase, but we already had those. I'm glad I thought of Just Baked -- now, we have a place to run to when we forget someone's birthday in the office!

Excellent flavors. Cute little shop. You can order in bulk if needed. Haven't had a bad cupcake yet. They have different flavors daily. Call ahead if you simply must have your favorite :). Friendly staff.Clean environment.

I get a couple of cupcakes from here about once a week. They're pretty good. I usually get the Funfetti and Red Velvet. Although they're not like Georgetown Cupcakes or anything, they are good and hit the spot.

Just Baked in my opinion is just 'Ok', sometimes like someone else mentioned they are a bit dry & the selection is a bit lacking. I think it's a less than adequate knock off of the 'Cupcake Station' in downtown Birmingham (& downtown Ferndale) which is way better.

Great to have a location in Detroit's business district. It's perfect for a mid-afternoon snack or for a corporate event. I've brought 2 dozen cupcakes to my office and it's usually gone within the hour. Some of my favs are strawberry, cookies and cream, and black forest cheesecake.
